politricks:Liar! Only the president could have initiated the move. No president will have a close meeting with you if it is not his wish |
The list cannot be authentic.....Paul Gascoigne (Gaza) and Tony Yeboah are miles ahead many of the players listed |
I will be happy to see these things happen. But truth is, charity begins at home. The Reps should make the president and the thieving NNPC crash diesel and petrol prices first because that is what companies use to power their operations. Thereafter, they should make PHCN to remove the monthly service charge of N750 on their prepaid meters.......then they will have the moral guts to ask a multinational company like DSTV to follow suit. |
iterator25:The truth is, our attitude and behavior creates that bad impression. We deserve how we are treated. Can you see the word....'LOUSY''? |
''Fashoa, who spoke during his commemoration of 2,700 days in office and achievements in the last 100 days, in Alausa, Ikeja, said long overdue refund would go a long way in reducing the debt profile of the State, which he said the Federal Government recently published to mislead the public.'' What kind of nonsense and stealing by pretence! The commemoration of every 100 days in office is a ploy and opportunity to steal because huge funds will be allocated to each 100 days that they celebrate in office e,g. for invitation of guests, hotel accommodation, logistics, etc. In all around the world, only the first 100 days is commemorated. Thereafter, it is annual event. Even Mandela and Obama and other people in the world only commemorate their first 100 days and then yearly. I have watched in disgust how this Fashola had been deceiving Lagosians and sweeping their money under the disguise of every 100 days sham! |
Price and picture? |
doctokwus:Don't you think? This event happened more than 2 years ago! |
Mouthy players..... |
Worldly riches? What about ''the anointing''? As far as I know TB Joshua has been outstanding in using is anointing to pray for people and helping the poor, the recent tragedy notwithstanding |
shachris03:You must be a lazy thinker! Try and think deeper. The church is contacting the families of the affected families on a daily, minute by minute basis. It is not just by publishing a statement. Some families of the affected victims have been visiting the church to follow up on developments. What happen is a huge thing and it takes the grace of God to pull through. The person it concerns feels it most! |
bushdoc9919:You don't need a large group of people of people to hide an explosive that can cause serious damage to a building. We have all seen from movies/ live stories how one or two people can wreck havoc by planting one or two explosives in strategic points/locations in a building. It depends on the kind of explosive deployed. I cannot answer the question of ''why use a plane to set off any explosives?''. I cannot speak for those who might have decided to perpetrate such act. That is left to be answered only after thorough investigation. It is wrong for you to just conclude that is was poor construction that caused the collapse when there are other strange occurrences that have not been properly investigated. The SCOAN has other buildings which are have solid structural design and construction, so why would the collapsed building be an exception. In any case, the reasonable thing to do is to investigate EVERYTHING surrounding the collapse of the building, including the structural design and the STRANGE MILITARY JET PLANE. Only a biased mind would ignore the military plane aspect, but then rush to conclude that the building was poorly constructed... Have you heard the LASG say anything to the contrary after the church made facts public about the approval and structural design of the building? Think about that |
bushdoc9919:Who told you that the collapse of Synagogue building was due to poor building practice? And how do you know that the load on top was too much for the foundation? The church has demonstrated that it had approval for a 12 storey building. LASG officials have gone to carry out tests on the foundation and they have seen that the foundation was cast for 12 floors, even though the building was only 6 floors Just go and check......All the buildings in the SCOAN premises are solid in structure, design and construction, hence the collapsed building cannot be an exception. Nobody wants to ask the critical questions about the strange military jet plane that hovered 4 times above the building at low altitude within a period of about 30 minutes. In saner countries, the directors of bodies NCAA, FAAN, SSS etc would be at work to unravel the identity and mission of the strange aircraft......but here in Nigeria, we want to crucify the pastor because we have hated the man long before now......this tragedy just provides an opportunity to the haters to call for his head and blame him for everything! |
There is a lot of ignorance on this forum. How many people know that South African(with all its economic strength, influence) imported electricity from other neighbouring countries during the 2010 World Cup despite the fact that it produces over 40,000 mega watts of electricity? |
cococandy: attack or no attack, he should first issue a condolence message to the victims' families and commiserate with them. without that, all hes doing only seems like he's putting self exoneration before the anguish of the real victims here. How do you know that he has not been contacting the families to console them? Some people cannot think deeper and wider than newspaper speculations |
fkaz: Noting like fooling one here, if the church said they follow the standard rule and got approval to build a 12 story building, it is left for lagos govt to defend it whether they approve it or not.The aircraft that hovered around the collapsed building was a military jet plane.....not just a helicopter |
benkings: Abegi leave story....TB Joshua sees only what God reveals to him! The Bible did not say that if God did not reveal something to a prophet, then that prophet is fake! Rather, the Bible says if a prophet says God has told him that something would happen, and that thing does not happen, then the prophet is speaking of himself and not of God! Don't mix it up.....don't let your hate for TB Joshua becloud your sense of reasoning! |
Abbycite: N50k no be beans o! Chineke! So everytime plane fly over my house, I should run out for fear of it collapsing......somebody should just slap d author of dis write-up.Maybe N50k can buy you and others like you. Have you read through the article? Have you ever seen a military jet hover 4 times at very low altitudes over a particular building in a residential area like Ikotun for no reason? EVERYTHING surrounding the collapse of the building should be investigated......but some people like you only want to hear when TB Joshua will be crucified. |
olapluto: The bribe is working wonders. September 18, 2014 Obama Orders Feared “Jericho Weapon” To Kill Christians By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers A stunning new report by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) circulating in the Kremlin today states that the Obama regime was behind the horrific 12 September attack that utilized the much feared “Jericho Weapon” on The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria (SCOAN) that left over 40 Christian men, women and children dead. According to this report, Nigerian authorities have become “greatly alarmed” over the unprecedented rise of the Ebola virus in West African and have “strongly advised” all Christian churches to stop their communion rites over fears this practice will spread the disease. The SCOAN, however, not only refused to stop their communion rites, this report continues, but also began operations to help the victims of Ebola in other neighboring countries, which the joint US-Nigerian Army Special Operations Command (NASOC) deemed a “national security threat”. In response to SCOAN refusing to comply with its governments Ebola directives, this report says, Russian military intelligence analysts on 11 September detected a “highly secretly armed” US Navy Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft [photo bottom left] assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron SIX TWO (VR-62, nicknamed the Nomads) depart from its Florida base at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jacksonville) and land at the US Naval Expeditionary Base Camp Lemonnier located at Djibouti's Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport, which is the primary base of operations for the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) in the Horn of Africa. After refueling/rest, this report continues, this US Navy C-130 departed Camp Lemonnier in the early hours of 12 September and flew to Lagos, Nigeria where from 11:30-11:54 [Central European Time Zone (UTC+01:00)] it circled the SCOAN compound [Photos 2nd and 3rd left] then departed after the church was destroyed in what is described as an “implosion-type” event occurring at 12:44 as evidenced by security camera video. [See video below or HERE] Security Camera Video This SVR report notes that the implosion of the SCOAN compound was “nearly identical” [See video below or HERE] to the destruction of the infamous Building 7 on 11 September 2011, thus bringing to fears that the US Navy in its Nigerian attack last week used they same type of “directed weapons technology” to kill these innocent Christians. Building 7 Collapse Video To the exact destructive power of the “Jericho Weapon” [The Battle of Jericho is a battle in the biblical Book of Joshua where “sound” was used to destroy the enemies fortress walls.] believed to have destroyed these Christians, this report says, have been best described by US Doctor-Scientist Judy D. Wood, who in compiling her evidence of a directed energy weapon being used to destroy Building 7, described its horrific ability to turn solid matter into nanoparticles. As the Obama regime has ordered an additional 3,000 of its troops to Africa to fight the Ebola virus, this report concludes, the killing of these Christians in Nigeria on 12 September clearly shows the deadly lengths this much feared government will go to in order to protect its empire. The Bible says '' the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy''! Is it not a simple truth that satan is the author of sicknesses and diseases? Why are people reacting foolishly to the prophet's comment? |
winniz: I said he should be given a Sack letter if he refuses to resign he should apply force. GEJ has the right to sack him after all OBJ sacked Ministers during his tenure and their was no process involved, so why would GEJs own be different? You better keep quiet to hide your ignorance.' First, Sanusi was appointed by Yar'Dua. Again, a Central Bank governor is not like a Minister who can be appointed and fired at will by any president. There are laws guiding that must be respected. I wonder why you are not asking why GEJ is protecting corrupt ministers like Deziani, Oduah etc and at the same time plotting to sack the ONLY anti-corruption crusader in his government. |
I majored in the sciences however you appear more ignorant. With all your accounting knowledge how do you reconcile a difference that is more than your total expected revenue? The total expected revenue is one hundred thousand naira N100,000 and my accounting tells me that one hundred and fifty thousand naira N150,000 is missing , even while I have Twenty four thousand naira N24,000 in hand? The next thing is a do a letter to my superior alleging missing funds. Abeg make we hear word. you guys just deliberately dodge the truth. Did sanusi say , he just saw the documents of the remittances when he made a rebuttal that the letter was in error? Sanusi wrote to the president to alert him that the records do not tally and there was need to put things straight. What Sanusi pointed out was a cumulative figure from 2012. Or are you saying the cumulative revenue from oil since 2012 to the reference month in 2013 was not more than $40.9b? At the end of the day, $10.8b still cannot be accounted for by the NNPC up till now! So who is right after all? Sanusi was factual and realistic enough to admit that NNPC has subsequently made some submissions which has reduced the outstanding balance. Mind you, Sanusi is not the only member of the CBN board/management team which comprises of people from all zones in the country. A serious and courageous president would have put set up a high profile panel to work on Sanusi's letter to see how to rectify the issues and punish any erring officials in the NNPC/petroleum ministry.....but here we are with a president that is shielding the thieves and wants to victimise the whistle blower just because a perceived political enemy(Obasanjo) made reference to the letter. Shameful! |
one mopol: $49b minus $10.8b leaves us with a whooping $38.2b . My logic simply is Sanusi's books that could make this huge mistake in accounting to the tune of $38b can no longer be trusted. You are a noisy ignorant who does not understand what is called reconciliation as regards statutory remittances. When you make remittances, you have to FILE in evidence of your remittances to the statutory body so that the records can be updated. Otherwise, there will be difference between your records and that of the statutory bodies. In this case, the NNPC was neither making full remittances(to FIRS etc) nor making adequate filing of its remittances to the CBN for appropriate documentation. So based on the earlier records with CBN, there was a shortage of $49b. The NNPC then responded by filing in further evidence of remittance of about $38b, so that has been reconciled. But the NNPC has not been able to give anything to prove that they remitted the remaining $10.9b. That is whopping N1.7trillion....the same amount that the GEJ govt and Okonjo-Iweala said they are spending on fuel subsidy which they used to increase fuel price. If GEJ is clever, he should have allowed SLS to be and give support to him for his anti-corruption stance in order to win the support of the masses.....but here we are with a petty president who gives award to corrupt people like Patricia Etteh, pardons criminals like Alameseigha, protects corrupt ministers like Stella Oduah and Deziani, but he wants Sanusi, the only serious minded anti-corruption crusader in his govt to resign. GEJ is truly clueless |
Obiagu1: The problem was not about performing his duties, rather it was about the leak.Shut up and do not bring in any mischief into this. Sanusi clearly stated in his letter to GEJ that he had been raising the issue of the missing funds during Federal Executive Council meetings but nothing had changed. So he decided to formally inform the president so that an official action could be taken to put an end to it. Now it has been established that about a whopping $10.8b is missing. That is about $1.7trillion missing......about the same figure that was claimed by GEJ and Okonjo-Iweala as the amount of fuel subsidy which made them to increase fuel price by 50% from N65 to N97, and causing people to suffer. GEJ does not think deeply. Any president that asks a CBN governor to resign because of such letter is not serious. Such letter would eventually be leaked to the press, anyway. It always happens. I think GEJ is a very petty person! Sanusi has proved to be a patriotic and fearless civil servant....a man that is bold enough to talk truth to power. He dealt with the corrupt bank CEOs, the Senate, House of Reps.....and now the Presidency. I pray we have more of Sanusi in government......but sadly, people like him cannot last long in Nigeria's dirty waters....no wonder he has decided to go back to the academia. Sanusi is quite different from a CBN governor that would lobby to be retained after his first tenure, and when that failed, he rushed to pick a gubernatorial form to contest for governorship and became the errand boy of the political thug like Chris Mba. When that failed, he left his first part and rushed to pick another gubernatorial form under another party......and when that failed, he rushed to another party......a whole professor of Economics for that matter!........that is what I call DESPERATION......a Desperado that would do anything to be in charge of where there is money!. |
tunshe: Fake pastors everywhere.Please.....do not bring TB Joshua into this. You may be laughing, but a day will come when you will believe that God still uses men to do His work n our present generation today. The mistake other pastors are making is that everybody wants to be seen as performing miracles like TB Joshua. Many pastors who were never into healing. deliverance, prophecies etc are now doing their services like TB Joshua and they have patterned their services/ministry after what is happening in The Synagogue. Instead of laughing in ignorance and unbelief, you would help yourself better if you try to find out the truth about the healing/prophecies/testimonies/confessions that take place in The Synagogue |
It is when he decides to leave Islam and go back Christianity......that is when you will know how intolerant some people can be! |
coachwilcox: By the way, the word ashawo is a ghanaian word. The trade was popularised in Naija years when Ghanaians were in full action in Naija. You see how ignorant you are? Ashawo is originally ''Ashewo''.....which is a Yoruba word for a prostitute. The Ghanaians only promounce it ''Ashawo'' because of their own local accent. Any girl/lady who does not have a strong moral will and faced with lack/poverty/starvation may become a prostitute. It may be Ghanaian or Nigerian. There was a time when Ghanaian prostitutes were very many in Nigeria. Today, Nigerian prostitutes are every where in Ghana like pure water |
Soldier kills student at Checkpoint in Kastina http://premiumtimesng.com/news/152132-soldiers-kill-passenger-check-point-katsina.html This is the kind of nonesense that does not happen in Ghana |
agadez007: you ghanaians may try to deny it but its every ghana girls dream to have a nigerian boyfriend then take her to nigeria maybe then marry her, they know we naijas are wise and hardworking and thats why they(ghana girls) are always ever ready to open their legs for naija boysGo and see the number of Nigerians girls doing prostituition on the streets of Ghana! You would be shocked. Every corner in Accra is full of Nigerian prostitutes.....from teenagers to adults |
rhymz: like Nightshift succinctly put it, Ghana is not a country known for any serious economic activities, Lagos has far more economic activities than the whole of Ghana, why Nigerians keep going there to trade is beyond me.This is how we expose our foolishness. The issue is not whether there are more economic activities in Nigeria than Ghana. The issue which environmenet makes you more competitive! Which one do you prefer......a place where there is no electricity, no security, no night market/economic activties, a place where you cannot get a taxi/bus to your home after 10pm, no public water, no nightlife, no orderliness, no law, where people drive against traffic, no stable university education system, reckless human behaviours, no respect for traffic laws, terrorisms, thuggery, political violence, total chaos........and a place where you can use your modest income to enjoy stable electricity, water, good nightlife, organised/orderly society, law abiding, peaceful, where people dont drive against traffic, stable educational system etc. It is better I enjoy the little money/business I have in Ghana with peace of mind in a decent society instead of doing big business in Nigeria and be living in fear, terror and total confusion! How many Nigerian adults(below 50years) have ever enoyed/experienced 24 hours steady electricity for 3months at a stretch in their life-time? |
simpleseyi: I thought Nigeria and Ghana are partners in progress, I thought we are brothers and not rivals. If Ghana is doing something right, Nigeria should ask Ghana to show us how they do it and vice versa.Good and thoughtful talk. Nigeria and Ghana had been partners in progress....we learn from them and they learn from us. The history of Nigerians(Yoruba) in Ghana dates back to more than 100 years ago. Ghanaians never maltreated them because they were law abiding, peaceful and respected the rules and regulations of their hosts. Now, we have another set of Nigerians who would not obey the laws of their host country and would want to do things the way they behave in Nigeria. That is where the problem lies. Go to Ghana and do a survey.....the Yoruba people are less involved in the confusion because they know the rules and obey! There are millions of Yoruba people, some living in Ghanaian villiages and towns since their pre-colonial days, and they are living happily with their hosts... When you go to another man's country with your reckless attitude and foolish gra-gra, then what do you expect? Ghana is a country governed by law, not by thuggery! You must learn to obey their rules and laws if you must live there in peace. If it is too expensive to pay for electricity in Ghana, then come back to Nigeria where you would buy generator and fuel every day to power your household equipments.....shikena! Thoughtless people! |

There are more Nigerians in Ghana than in South Africa.......hundreds of thousands of Nigerian families, especially Yoruba people from Osun/Oyo/Kwara/Ogun States have been in Ghana for almost 100 years.....not to even talk about new comers from Nigeria |
