Foolish journalism! Go to hell with your lies! |
Shameless people! Nigeria makes up about 20% of the population of Africa, but we are responsible for about over 70% of crimes by Africans in the diaspora.....that tells a lot about us as a people! |
What is wrong in having the picture of an African prophet in Mandela's house? I am sure you would not mind if you had seen the picture of Michael Jackson or Benny Hinn in the house! Hypocrisy! |
murimoney: Ghanians don't steal? You are very ignorant, and you dont know the history of the relationship between Nigeria and Ghana! Nigerians were the first to rush en-masse to Ghana, starting from pre-independence days.Nigerians, mostly Yoruba people have been in Ghana for over 100years. They were doing legitimate businesses like cocoa farming, trading, transport; and even working in the Ghana civil service, teachers, police etc. Ghana was richer than all the 3 regions in Nigeria in those days, and it was like the unofficial capital of West Africa/Africa. Again, Nkrumah's influence attracted a lot to people to Ghana Ghanaians started trooping to Nigeria when they had economic crisis in the late 70s/early 80s. ....and they came mostly to Nigeria because that was the country that most of them had known in the past(because of the huge presence of Nigerians there) and had them as friends in Ghana even before their problem started. Many Ghanaians came to join their Nigerian friends in Nigeria, mostly in Lagos/southwest. If you go to Ghana, you would see a lot of places named after Nigerian(Yoruba) people since over 60/70 years ago. Go and study before you talk. |
No 11. Nigerians introduced/brought armed robbery into Ghana! I said this because it is a fact and I know. No arguments please! |

It is an insult to compare CFA with ACCA and ICAN. CFA is far ahead of them all. CFA is The King! |
Is this man a Prophet? Has any of his past ''prophecies'' come to pass? |
Judolisco: If ghana loose 2 zambia i wil agree he is a man of GodHas TB Joshua told you that Ghana would lose to Zambia? You people and rumours. Prophet TB Joshua has already announced that he will no longer give prophecies about football matches, so where did you get that lie from? |
Was Turai Yar'Dua not better behaved and more reserved than Patience Jonathan? I guess Turai was uncompromisingly hard on the Jonathans because of this Patience's disgusting attitude! |
Demdem: I doubted this also but before then, students never liked Omole. Some even claimed he is a cultist himself considering his love for white flowing gowns. That unfortunate incidence was just an oppurtunity that was maximised to get rid of him.Take note: There have been 2 former VC with the name ''Omole''....One was WALE Omole....who was there in the mid 90s and used to wear white clothes all the time, and then WOLE Omole durin the late 90s/early 2000s |
Soloter: The reason He's fake is premised upon his philantrophic lifestyle. Any philantrophist that gives and announces to the world has already received his reward here. This is neither of Christ nor His Spirit. (Read Matthew 6:3,4.) He lures the unsuspecting with these gifts. The reason He's fake is premised upon his philantrophic lifestyle. The Bible says...'let your light shine before men so that they may see your good works/deeds and give glory to your Father in Heaven' How do you expect the world/congregation to have change of heart if you dont show them practical examples of things in the Bible? |
Imanuel Jannah: Point of Correction: Your comments about the OFR hounour in (4) above is wrong. He was given the honour because he was found to be the largest contributor to tourism in Nigeria. He single-handedly attracts hundreds of thousabds of foreign visitors to Nigeria on a consistent basis. A survey was carried by the govt from Nigerian embassies all over the world and it was clear TB Joshua was the greatest attraction of people to Nigeria, hence the award. TB Joshua himself made this known a fews back during a live service on Emmanuel TV Even though I acknowledge the fact that is a very good philatropist, the govt did not give him the award for that reason |

It s quite simple, we all know what the Nigerian music industry is saying, no need to decieve ourselves, How many popular Dance hit and club singles released in naija has a meaningful lyrics? none, except u just wan run out of market, even the R&B artists are making a cross over into what is in-vogue, PSquare as a good example. Styl-plus couldnt do this and they were off the industry. "Personally" in one word is "SMART" enough and i rate it above any nigerian releases at this very moment. The beat and lyrics matches what is currently in vogue in terms of naija Hip Hop music, so those who are fans of that aspect will find it amazing. The Hook of the song verses (Before the chorus) "I no go lie, the things wey dey my mind....." most of the R&B fans of psquare out there will love this, especially if u are the type that love singing & parting songs with a higher or lower note (this is my favorite part of the song really), if u aint trilled about those stuffs, then definitely the video is there to blow your load. at least it has got something to make up for you, whether you like it or not. Almost every Nigerian musician played Reggae in the late 80s/90s, then Ragga, then R&B in ealry 2000, then Rap. We dont seem to have our indigenous style of music. Then when fast beat dancehall highlife now came from Ghana(which they call HipLife...a fusion of Hip-Hop and Highlife) and also introduced faster funkified version with its dance(which they call Azonto).....Nigerian musicians have again all jumped onto the Hiplife/Azonto train. But we now change the name to Afro-pop, Afro-beat etc. We just imitate anything in vogue, yet we pretend as if we are original. We used to have Juju, Fuji, Highlife etc. We could not do any research on these forms of music and reinvent something new. Rather, we were busy deceiving ourselves and copying the R&B and Rap of the Americans. Go and listen to the Rap songs of Ruggedman, Mode 9, Eedris etc in years back and listen to those of Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Kwaw Kesse, Sarkodie etc. We were busy copying the Americans whilst the Ghanainas were doing rap with their own indigenous highlife music...that is what gave birth to Hiplife and Azonto Countries like DRC, Cameroun etc kept on to their style of music. so also South Africa. Ghanaians have always kept to and Reggae and Highlife (and its variants). It was Reggie Rockstone who reinvented Hiplife in the 90s(by using their original highlife infused with funky beats and rhythms. The younger musicians took it over from there and infused some of their traditional dances/beats....that is how Azonto beat/song was created. Trust Nigerians to hijack it...even PSquare disgraced themselves in their desperation to hijack it. Let us be creative. Music is not only about commercial success |
Wnders shall never end! |
Lagos State should shut up their fucking mouth! Who do they think they are deceiving. Let them go and demolish JK Randle's house if they are serious and mean business. NONSENSE! |
I dont believe in the GEJ govt. But Fani Kayode should shut up his mouth. He and the other rogues of his master(OBJ), e.g Ribadu, El-Rufai, Maurice Iwu were the brains behind the illegalities of the 2007 elections and the plan to perpetuate OBJ in govt through 5rd term |
These foolish musicians waste/lavish millions of naira on senseless cars, fake things, foolish birthday parties for themselves, girlfriends etc...yet they are watching one of them in a critical condition. I pray the guy gets help on time |
Please, go ask Femi Falana and his group of biased crusaders. They are the ones that lied against Farida Waziri and persistently called for her sack, just because their friend was removed from office. It is on record and very glaring for anyone who deals with facts (and not propaganda) that Farida Waziri's records is the best in the history of EFCC to date. The number of court prosecutions, high profile cases prosecuted, and total number of court convictionsetc under her are more than what has every been recorded in EFF since inception. Femi Falana and his pro-Ribadu cohorts campaigned, castigated and told lies against Farida....we are all living witness to what is happening. Do you hear Femi Falana and his band of pro-Ribadu hypocrites complain about EFCC nowadays or since Farida left? |
It should not be about numbers alone. People are suffering and they need succour. help. Not just to invite people and extort money for purchase of private jets instead of spreading the moneys to help the less priviledged in the society |
Abagworo: All these myopic people sef. "Kukere" is more or less "Coupe de Cale" in beats. Coupe de cale is like Ivorian soukous. The dance step in "Kukere" is a traditional Cross River dance known as "Etighi". It is older than both "Azonto" and "Coupe de Cale",Go and watch the Kukere video again.....most of the dance steps in the video(apart from Iyanya's video crew members) were Ghanaians(including the small boy) dancing Azonto which Iyanya copied/downloaded directly from Youtube. The Coupe de Cale dance is different.! |
It looks like it happeened in Ghana....the song underneath sounds Ghanaian |
Bebetter: Is it just me or does this song have the KUKERE BEAT underneath? The beat underneath the song is clearly AZONTO beat....which is basically a fast-tempo Highlife with funkified rhythms. The so called 'Kukere beat' itself is was adapted from Azonto....Iyanya used a lot of Azonto stuff ( e.g the beat, dance, online youtube video clips etc) in his Kukere song and video. I just hope our Nigerian musicians will also create an indigenous style and promote it globally instead of just copying and repeating the Azonto beats/dance in all their songs. |
Azonto beat reigns.....the beat in this song is clearly patterned after the Azonto dance style You can see subtle moves of the Azonto dance steps, but they have cleverly done it in a way that is not too pronounced....I think they have learnt from their Alingo video Anyways, congrats to them,,,they should just try to be more real and professional in the way they copy other people's ideas |
aasog1: All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; white has no superiority over black, nor does a black have any superiority over white; [none have superiority over another]...Can you tell me where the Quran/Mohammed said you should 'pray for your enemies and do good to the people that hate you'? |
Fashola hated school, he failed WAEC.....no wonder he has been using his time in govt fighting medical doctors! He obviously does not know what it takes to become a medical doctor. I can now understand why he could not make it into Ife, UI or Lag to study law (no disrespect to Uniben and other schools) Clueless governor! |
This is what happens when you have a corrupt, capitalist, anti-people, power-drunk governor masquerading as a democrat. Fashola is raping Lagos state and Lagosian. People will be shocked to discover the financial attrocities being committed by this corrupt governor after he would have left office |
integrityfood: No single soul perished attending Jesus Christ' crusade not even that of his disciples like Paul, Peter etc where you have primitive people both old n young. So if TB Joshua promised them holy water for divine protection, healing, fortune etc, why couldn't the church leaders raised the death who came for mercy, blessing and God's intervention upon their lives?? I do not have the power to declare TB Joshua a false prophet God knows his people and will judge n reward accordingly but my concern is that those who sought help from TB Joshua lost their live in the process in his church crusade without a timely intervention like christ did in the case of Lazarus. Please, comment with good logic. What happened could happen at any event with huge crowd of people if the police does not handle the people effecrively. TB Joshua was not in Ghana. The people that died are the ones that were stampeded OUTSIDE the church premises while struggling to enter the premisies. No single person INSIDE the church auditorium was hurt. The church venue has a capacity of about 2,000 but about 50,000 people came as early as 2-4 am in the morning. The church made adequate arrangement by informing and requesting the Ghana Police to provide law and orderliness at the church. The Police underestimated the possible turnout, and were overwhelmed by the crowd. The crowd broke down the barriers mounted by the police and the stampede happened in the process. Nothing would have happened if the police has taken full charge or the people had been more orderly. People are just being sentimental because of the controversial nature of TB Joshua. But in fairness to him, it was the failure of the Ghana Police that brought this issue to him. Afterall, there were more people at the Lagos Church, but the fear of the Nigerian Police (brutal and mean) made people to control themselves. The Ghana Police messed things up for TB Joshua. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace! |
The Ghana Police should share a larger portion of the blame for these deaths. They were on ground to maintain law and order but they failed. Maybe they were also carried away by the frenzy of the day. I remember their carelessness caused the death of about 30 fans in a stadium during a football match between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oaks a few years ago. They should improve on their crowd control mechanisms....it seems they are too soft.(I can imagine the harshness of Nigeria Police) |
