He raised people from the dead, and the Pharisees became worried because the news was spreading and everybody was talking about Jesus. He healed a man on the Sabbath day, and they wanted to use it against Him......
John the Baptist preached similar messages like Jesus Christ, but the Pharisees did not give him much attention and criticisms like they did to Jesus, because Jesus' miracles made the Pharisees look very ordinary! That power from above attracts envy! The poor masses were following Jesus because they knew He had the power and authority to redeem them from their sickness, disease and demonic possession. And the Pharisees did not like Jesus popularity.
Jesus' miracles were proof that He was more than them, and that was something they did not want.

bros ,emmanuel tv is not the appropriate channel to use to send such messages to governments . if every country is to be taken every christian tv programme serious ,the governments will mess up. You can't send a prophesy through a christian tv channel and expect to be taken seriously. I never said he prophesied after those incidences ,I said he always come out to say he prophesied or saw the revelation of those incidences after they might have happened . There are channels to use if u have credible information about something. All he needs to do is write a formal letter to the ambassdor of that country in nigeria about what he forsees about his country.

He does send letters to some ambassadors / embassies. But you cannot expect him to always be sending letters. Some may even translate it to mean that he is seeking connections or favours from the embassies or countries concerned.
I am sure he has written to some Asian countries in the past. With that, they should be the one to monitor his messages on the TV and make use of what they can from his prophecies.

The problem is people don't bother to listen when he gives those prophecies, and then turn around to accuse him when the prophecies come to pass.....it reminds me of Prophet Noah and his generation

The mere fact that the building fell after about 40 minutes and the plane did not come back shows that something was fishy!

The magistrate is always ready and quick to accommodate requests from Lagos State counsel and officials that would benefit their case. But he is very aggress, harsh and un-cooperating whenever SCOAN legal team makes a request that would inure to their favour.

So for instance if the foundation of a building was intentionally meant to carry 2 storey but 8 storey building was later constructed using all standard materials won't the house still collapse?

According to him, LASEMA came to the scene of the incident on Friday, September 12, 2014 around 3:10pm without any equipment while NEMA arrived around 3:24 pm. The CCTV footage revealed that both agencies came ill-equipped and didn’t spend more than 30 seconds before being ushered to the scene of the collapsed building.

Additionally, throughout the rescue operation, they reported in the morning at 8am and left the scene by 5:30pm daily. When the SCOAN's counsel, Olalekan Ojo, asked him about the allegations by both agencies that they came with several heavy equipments but were prevented from performing their statutory duties by the church, Okojie retorted, "They were lying to cover their inadequacies. Can a vehicle carry another vehicle inside because from the video before us, they only came with one vehicle that was even empty?

“Also, it’s so sad that they resumed work at 8am and closed by 5:30pm like office executives. The only thing they were interested in doing was talking to the media. They were busy organising press conferences and were unconcerned with the lives they came to rescue. I can tell you categorically that it was church officials and technicians who were drilling holes and bringing the victims out of the rubble.

Joshua’s invitation to appear as a witness before the coroner was a breach of his right to fair hearing as no case had been established against his person before the coroner. It further contested that the coroner had been extending his inquisitions into areas beyond its statutory purview. It is funny to note that a lot of Nairalanders have already taken position that the SCOAN collapsed building was done remotely. If this is true, how was it done? The only way this can happen is by “implosion”. Implosion is a process in which objects are destroyed by collapsing on themselves. The opposite of implosion is explosion.

The only recorded case of implosion in Nigeria is the controlled demolition of the abandoned NIDB building, done by Gov. Fashola some few years back.

The process of carrying out implosion requires several bomb-like devices be planted at strategic places all over the building and on different floors. These devices when controlled remotely would trigger off, but rather exploding it implodes. These bomb-like devices could not have been planted easily in the SCOAN building because it is a job that would have taken days to accomplished. All the floors would be drilled to connect the bomb-like devices.

In respect of the demolition of NIDB building, the State Government had to contract a South African company for the job. It was perfectly done such that when the building came down; none of the buildings beside it were affected.

In summary, there is no way the SCOAN building could have been ascribed to implosion, because it is not possible technically. The Police man only made presumption statements and not factual ones; I expected a professional would have been factual in his submissions rather than making conjectures.

Stop making noises with ignorance.

For a formal contract job awarded to specialists who do not intend to inflict injuries on nearby buildings/human beings, they will place explosives and dynamite-like materials at strategic places and on several/different floors and walls in order to bring the building down with minimal splattering of blocks, iron rods, pillars etc. Part of the contract will ensure there is minimal collateral damage after the implosion, so there will be extra care to break down the bricks, blocks and iron rods etc into the smallest particles possible.

For a terrorist/sabotage act on a 5-6 story building being used as a guest house/hotel(e.g SCOAN building), the saboteurs/terrorists do not have to wire several/different floors before they can bring the building down and wreck havoc. All they need do is to blow off the ground floor and the whole building will collapse on its weight and cause death/severe injuries to people. That exactly was what happened to the SCOAN building. We have seen enough terrorist attacks at places like hotel, shopping malls etc around the world.
Go see videos of similar attacks/demolitions before you expose your stark ignorance.

Also, the NIDB building is not the only building that has been brought down with controlled demolition. Several other buildings have been brought down in Nigeria with similar technology, at least 2 in Abuja. Watch the SCOAN video and see for yourself,

Go watch and apply your common sense (I am presuming you have some)!

Even a 5 story building built with only clay/sand and wood would not come down in one swoop within 3secs.....no matter how poor the structure. Such building collapse would not be associated with exploding dust-like smoke at the lower floors of the building, especially the ground floor.

Our forefathers built houses (some of them multiple story buildings), without any govt approval and with only wooden planks and clay/sand. Some of these houses are still standing for 100 years.....and none of them collapses from the top to the ground floor in 3 seconds......

It is obvious that the 2 emergency bodies were making up stories to cover up their inefficiency......they both went to the scene of the collapsed building without a single ambulance, while the church provided 11 ambulances, while the Red Cross and Life Savers provided 1 ambulance each.
The barricade that they complained about was manned by the Police to preevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation.

Earlier, the Red Cross had testified that they were neither stopped nor prevented from carrying out their rescue efforts and actually praised the church for its efforts at rescuing the victims and the provision of 11 ambulances.

According to the SCID, controlled demolition is when a building is felled using chemical or electronic device.The position of the SCID was given by the Head, Homicide Investigation and Crime Scene Management at Panti, DSP Olusola Agoyi.

Agoyi testified on Wednesday at the resumed sitting of the coroner, Magistrate O.A. Komolafe, probing the cause of the September 12 tragedy.The accident claimed no fewer than 116 lives.Agoyi, in his testimony, said the speed and the rate at which the Synagogue building caved in, coupled with some dust-like smoke that followed were peculiar elements seen only in a building felled by controlled demolition.

He said, “My Lord, when you use chemical or electronic device to bring down a building, it is controlled demolition.“I found out from the CCTV that the rate and the speed of the fall of the building within seconds was just like that of a controlled demolition.

“Aside that, the CCTV 3 captured some dust-like smoke coming out of the collapsed building.”Further lending weight to his claim, Agoyi referred the coroner to the oral account of one of the 34 survivors that he said were interviewed in the course of his intelligent findings.“

The panel also interviewed one Taiwo Temitayo Taiwo, aged 28 years, one of the surviving victims of the collapsed building and I quote, ‘Immediately the building was coming down, what I saw or heard was like a thunderous lightning accompanied with a sound, hitting the wall as if someone was using a saw to cut an iron, then the house collapsed,'” Agoyi submitted.

Shame to Fashola's Lagos State govt, its corrupt agencies and the biased coroner magistrate!

I have been saying it that is a big shame and act of mediocrity to investigate this magnitude of tragedy without interviewing the survivors/eye witnesses. Even the BBC and other international media houses far away from Nigeria have interviewed some of the survivors.

Why has the magistrate refused to call survivors/eye witnesses?It is a deliberate attempt to prosecute, humiliate and hold TB Joshua responsible for the collapse. They know the survivors would say the actual fact and truth, which they are not ready to hear!
That is why all what they have been doing is to call Lagos State agencies to talk about ''there was no approval for the building''.

The ignorant and ass-licking Commissioner for Urban Planning came to say that there was no aircraft flying low over the building, and that the plane was over 300meters above the building, even though he did not conduct any investigation. They are just talking about ''no approval for the building'' so that they can work towards a common answer.....hold TB Joshua responsible, humiliate and prosecute him!

The police had made an official request to the Lagos State Minsitry of Works to conduct test on the materials used for the building and even while the ministry is yet to complete its test and reply the police, a clueless commissioner has already jumped to conclusion that the building was structurally defective! Can you imagine that!

They hate TB Joshua and they want to use this opportunity to humiliate and rubbish him. The statements and attitude of the Magistrate is a clear testimony to this! If this had happened to the church of their pastor (where they and their wives go to worship during electioneering and Xmas/new year service), they surely would not insist that he must appear in court in person.....we all know that church/pastor

What makes the building illegal? Not getting approval or building beyond approved number of floors is not an illegality. The illegality is in the act of people who planted or threw explosives to bring the building down.
There are many buildings in Lagos and Nigeria that are over 100 years hold, but without approval. Yet, virtually all the buildings that collapsed in Lagos and Nigeria had government approval.

No dear I am not joking, it was on the 13h00 news today on South African E-tv or ENCA NEWS the lawyer was interviewed live.

The lawyer also said he is in possession of one of the said letters as he was speaking.

I know this is unbelievable, anyway one looks at it. To me it looks like a way to absolve SCOAN of responsibility. But what does the forensic results of the site say? If it was a bomb I am sure there should be some remnants of the bomb or tell tale signs.

That is my problem with the way Lagos State has been conducting this inquest! There is no forensic test of specimens and the building or the materials used. No laboratory analysis by professional bodies/NGO to determine whether the building was defective in structure or materials! No structural tests of the structures and critical components/parts of the collapsed building!
All what Lagos state is doing is to say there was no approval for the building, so TB Joshua must be held responsible.
They keep saying the building was structurally defective, but they cannot tell THE EXCACT STRUCTURAL DEFECT... whether poor foundation, poor materials or poor design!
Again, no single eyewitness or survivor that witnessed the tragedy has been invited to testify on what really happened. But they have been calling on Lagos State officials who only came to the scene hours after and did not know how the building came down to come and testify.

Even the BBC other international media houses were able to interview some of the survivors just a few days after the tragedy, but here in Nigeria we cannot invite them 2 months after a tragedy and we are busy calling on biased state officials who are towing the same lime of ''the building was not approved' our grandfather's buildings in our villages were never approved but they have not collapsed. Some were not even built with cement.....just mud houses built with clay)
Now, who are we supposed to believe more- the actual victims/survivors or state govt officials ?

This is the formula:
1.You have to discipline yourself to eat at most, 2 times in a day.
2.Buy raw rice, beans, ground pepper, palm oil, garri, curry, thyme,salt and groundnut(cooking) oil and possibly 1 or 2 tubers of yam
3.Since you have provisions, a little tea/coffee in the morning should be able to carry you till 11a.m-12noon before you eat your first meal for the day i.e. BRUNCH.
4.You have to master how to cook and eat Rice CONCOTION and Beans blended with garri ( the everlasting, ever sustaining recipe) for your brunch. Make sure you have some as leftover for dinner in the evening.
5.It is better you eat beans for your brunch because it can sustain you for longer hours. You should always try to have some remaining in the pot when you come back from lectures in the evening....you eat that, and then prepare the alternate dish against the following morning.
6.Don't indulge in the attitude of buying soft drinks and snacks anyhow. Avoid them if you know that your finances will be affected.
7.Avoid the tendency of trying to spend too much on clothes or social functions or girls.

Unfortunately, in this country, we are too lazy and unserious to do any meaningful investigation.
