No. Just found out about routes when I had to drive myself and once I use a particular route once, it sticks in my head.
omopapa:
U don drive Uber for naija before?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics:
It's actually closer and easier to navigate from Law School bus stop.
Eromo10:
It’s not far from Eko Hotel roundabout. The venue is on the same street with Zenith Bank head office (Ajose Adeogun). It’s a walking distance from the roundabout. Just ask for IVIE HOUSE. On the other side of the road, there is Chicken Republic and Mama Cass restaurants.

From Obalende or CMS, you could get buses going to Eko Hotel roundabout.

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics:
Are you driving or using public transport?
If you're driving, once you get into Lagos, go past Berger (the very 1st bus stop after the long bridge once you cross from Ogun state to Lagos state) towards Motorways and take the turn that leads to Ojota once you drive past motorways. Drive straight on till you get to Maryland and turn right by the roundabout into Mobolaji Bank Anthony (once you turn, you will see a mobil filling station and Mr Biggs to your right) . Keep to the right and drive straight till after the church by Abule Onigbabo bus stop. TLS is the tall, white building very close to Bola memorial church.

With public transport, board a bus that can get you to Ojota/Maryland or Berger from Ibadan. If you stop at Berger, get on a bus to Ojota/Maryland. Alight at Maryland, turn to the right of the roundabout and board a bus, bike or Keke by the Mobil filling station / Mr Biggs. Tell the driver exactly where you're going (abule Onigbabo bus stop, Etiebet's place or TLS by Bola Memorial church).

Landmarks: Bola Memorial church and Eko hospital. Coming from Maryland, TLS is after Bola Memorial church and before Eko hospital.

Since he's got full tuition scholarship, he should fill in the £21,600 as paid and select the option that states that this information is included on his CAS statement.

Close it and start over.

okay, I'm trying to go back and amend it but it keeps redirecting me back to the payment page. Is there anyway around it?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 12:17am On Sep 02, 2020
No, it won't. The dependants' visa is dependent of the main applicant's granted leave, not course end date so if you input course end date, it will just take payment that covers the course end date and not the time granted.
Mobilipia:
@mimilyrics I'm sorry for disturbing you again, I noticed when I put the course start and end date for my dependant the IHS is showing 408 instead of 612 dollars. I'm i suppose to add the additional 6 months? I thought it'll calculate it automatically just like it did to my own.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics:
Yes, you can use your transcript, see attached screenshot from the UKVI guidance. I also know that people have successfully used results transcript in the past so it shouldn't be a problem.
latuntop:
The CAS statement said I should present evidence from my school that shows that I graduated with Doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM).
This is making me to be apprehensive because I think my certificate remains the best evidence for this and I don't know if my statement of result can actually go for that with my transcript.

It's an automated mail that is usually sent out when applications can't be decided within the regular timescales. In this case, it might or might not have anything to do with your bank statement; only UKVI can tell tour that. For a mail to send the remaining pages to, you'll have to contact UKVI via https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk
Fortune884:
Hello good evening, please I applied for a tier 4 visa, when uploading my bank statements I mistakenly uploaded just 1 page out of 5 pages. The 1 page Carrie's the opening balance and the closing balance and it also shows that the money in the account was there from 1st July to 12 August although the day to day running is just from July 1st to 17th. I did my interview and biometrics on the 19th of August then I got a deferred-complex mail today September 1st that my application is not straight forward. Please what can I do next? I dont know which email to send the complete bank stateme

No, you don't. You only include their documents for their own applications.
Ewunugaab:
Good evening everyone. I have 3 dependants, but I am currently applying alone for now. Do I need to include their international passports, my kids birth certificates and my marriage certificate in the documents I would be uploading to my application on the Tls website?

A friend was talking about it today, so I decided to ask so as to clear my confusion. Thanks alot as I await your responses.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 11:53pm On Sep 01, 2020
What is stated on your CAS as evidence to obtain offer? Statement of result or certificate?
latuntop:
Hello Gurus on this thread,
I used my statement of result for my application, but at the point of processing my CAS the school requested for my certificate which is not available presently. I went ahead to explain to them how it was omitted from being printed by my school which I believed it was a technical error, eventually the CAS was issued to me.
My question now is, will this lack of certificate not going to affect me during VISA interview? because my school said the certificate won't be ready until November and I may likely appear for VISA interview before November.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 11:50pm On Sep 01, 2020
It really shouldn't be an issue. As long as the right state is on your passport, just include a cover letter to explain this error on your application form for your own peace of mind.

Is the scholarship from the school? Is the scholarship amount £21,600? Is it clearly detailed on his CAS? If yes to all above, he should just fill in the £21,600 as paid and select the option that states that this information is included on his CAS statement.
Momoreoluwa90:
Hello everyone. I'm here again. My brother and I are currently filling out his visa application. I mentioned in July that he got a scholarship that covers only his tuition. Please how do we proceed with the following questions? His CAS states his tuition fee is 21,600 GBP and that he has a tuition scholarship.
Thank you in advance.

Then you don't have to worry about your own funds since your sponsorship covers the funds your require (tuition + maintenance), your sponsorship letter suffices for you as long as it's from an official financial sponsor. You only need to show your dependants' funds in yours or your spouse's account.

Yes it does

My opinion on this are
1. Was your studying in Germany an essential part of your course application? If no, then it shouldn't. When applying for a course, only the relevant educational qualifications are used except you're transferring units from your unfinished course any qualification not used to obtain your offer shouldn't be submitted.

2. I don't see a way to combine the 2 courses because both will surely require your full-time attendance and/or engagement. You might have to defer one for the other.

3. If you're applying in Germany, then I'll suggest that you make your application first while your family makes theirs after you pick up you BRP to avoid having to answer too many questions as per your current living arrangements because your explanation looks complicated enough already from what I read.

4. If you apply in Nigeria, you still have to declare your residential period in Germany and as far as I know, this wouldn't have a negative impact on your application even if it shows that your time there was on a student visa. You lived there pre-covid and you've been in Nigeria for almost 5-6 months now (correct me if I'm wrong pls) so I don't see why you can apply in Nigeria.

4. It's perfectly allowed u for the T4 visa rules for you to travel with your immediate family (spouse and kids) and it's not a criteria as to your departure from the UK. Your answers during your interview are the basis for confirming a student's genuine intentions to leave the UK after studying, not your dependants.

Meddyakki:
Dear Nairalander, thanks for your supports so far.

My situation is a bit hard but I need your advice.

I completed my MSc in the UK in September 2019, I resumed in Germany for another study. I came to Nigeria(planned 2 weeks) and got stuck because of Corona(Visa&temporary BRP also expired). I thought it was over and I won't be able to return to Germany because I left without my BRP(it takes months to get it in Germany).

I submitted applications for MSc in the UK and I never mentioned I am a student in Germany because I felt won't go back. Just a few hours ago, I got my German BRP. I intend to either drop my Germany programme or combine the 2.

I have always been scared that my Visa might be denied because I didn't declare studying in Germany. I am also thinking I should communicate with my UK school about applying for my UK Visa in Germany since it was easier for me to move from the UK to Germany. Does it make sense to apply in Nigeria than in Germany or I should use my German address and book my Visa appointment in Germany? Thanks.

I am also scared of my visa application in Nigeria because I will be applying with my family in Nigeria(ECO might feel I won't return to Nigeria(travelling with a 4 weeks old baby)). Can I apply from Germany while my family are submitting Visa applications in Nigeria at the same time or they should wait till I get my Visa in Germany

Your sponsorship should have details on what it covers; if it covers your outstanding tuition fee / balance and maintenance, it should be clearly stated on your sponsorship letter as per UKVI rules.

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 3:52pm On Sep 01, 2020
Your child's IHS should be the same as yours or your husband's. Check to see if there's an error in the dates because £600 for the 2-year course period is about $800 but £750 for the 2 year period plus extra 4-6 months leave is around $1000.

No, it's not. Even though your family will be accompanying you, it doesn't mean that they'll apply at the same time as you.
Fabfive:
Good afternoon Mimi, (and anyone else that may have been in this situation).

My TB certificate indicates the number of accompanying dependants (we all tested the same day) but I’m applying alone for now and my application states no one is accompanying me. Is this an issue?

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics:
1. If you can justify your need for a 2nd masters, you're good. But it normally shouldn't be an issue since your previous study wasn't in the UK and if you're able to link it to the ability to move up to management positions in STEM, it sort of ties in with your professional aims which also ties in with the reason for choosing your course.

2. If the loan meets all the T4 requirements, you stand a high chance of getting your visa. I know that Prodigy has been used successfully in the past so it shouldn't be a problem but ensure to check if prodigy is available for your school though.
Note that you might be asked questions around your current earnings vis-a-vis the loan repayment during your interview.

3. This largely depends on your skills, how well you sell yourself to employers and how early you start your search.

4. True. Except as a doctor or dentist in training.
Mille:
People, I visited the UK last year and loved it. Not necessarily because it was better than the countries I've lived in but my God, it felt to so good conversing with people freely in a language I speak fluently unlike my life in Germany where I struggled badly with the language. Now I'm in Nigeria and I want to go back to the UK and I need advice. I apologise if these questions have been asked earlier.

- I already have a Masters degree, will it be an issue at the embassy if I should apply for a one-year Masters in Management or MBA. The goal is to change from STEM to Management.

- What are the odds of getting a visa if I'm using a loan for tuition such as prodigy finance etc. Especially as I plan on going with my wife and kid. I'll rather not go anywhere if my family is not coming with me. I've had 5 European study/visit visas including for the UK while she will be applying with a fresh passport.

- What are the odds of securing a graduate job after study. This is an important aspect.

- I see information that my wife is allowed to work in the UK and without restrictions. How true is this?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics:
She'd do well to mail UKVI because she's not spent up to 6 months in the UK and under the rules, you have to have spent at least 6 months in a country that doesn't require the TB test to be exempted.

But seeing as so many concessions have been granted for those applying from the UK when they normally would have applied from their home countries, she might not need it but only UKVI can confirm that since she still needs to meet all other requirements for the visa.

Please am asking for a friend- she went to uk on visiting visa around March 2020, and got stuck because of coro, while still in the uk, she wants to put in for tier 4 student visa, she already got her admission, paid her deposits, and funds are available in her uk account. The question now is will she need TB Test? and if YES, where can it be done in the uk. She is in LONDON to be precise

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 12:44pm On Sep 01, 2020
No appointments required. Just turn up with the necessary documentation and you just might get your passport. Be nice to the security guys though as they might be able to help you present your case in a way that would allow your case to be treated.

Ps: note that the situation I cited was for an overturned refusal, not for a situation where the passport hasn't been returned after the initial application.

Ameey:
Please do you have any idea about how one can schedule an appointment to visit British deputy high commission? It's been about 6 months since I made an application and a decision has been made with no feedback.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 12:42pm On Sep 01, 2020
I'm not sure about what's obtainable during these Covid-19 times but you stand a chance. Just go with the decision to overturn your refusal + your passport photocopy and tell the security guys that Sheffield has made a decision and redirected you to the BDHC. The security guy will take your paper in to consult with whoever they need to consult with and you might be allowed to enter while you wait to collect your passport. This might or might not work on your 1st visit.
Steelbangz:
Thank you so Much.
Would I be able to get the passport at the BHC if I go there?
