Opurumiri:There are some 12 hours jobs from 8p.m to 8a.m, that entails you to just be awake throughout the night while the teenager being looked after is in his/her room, on their phones or playing video games until he/she goes to bed while you are downstairs in the sitting room watching Netflix and sipping coffee or tea as they just want an adult who would be awake throughout the night, making sure the young person do not run away during the night as you would have the house keys on you after having locked doors that leads outside of the house, complete the expected paperwork of how of the shift is going and getting paid £12.70 per hour. |
Nice one. |
brian91:Have you relocated? |
Self behaviour modification will set in. |
ezugegere:After 3 hrs, learning is not happening anymore! |
edoman2016:In all your doings, never marry a lady that is AS as having a child that is SS, is no joke. |
SmartPolician:But you are more likely to see in western countries old couples, all wrinkled and holding hands as you see love still flowing between them. ![]() |
Congratulations to them. |
She said that “…money makes a man misbehave. Friends make a man misbehave, and strange women seduce men with all manner of Jazz (juju) to make a man misbehave.”..............The summary is that, the misbehaving man is never responsible for his behaviours, others are! Madam Ayeni, it is only a DNA test than would prove that your husband is not the father of the child, his former mistress is the mother to and not him saying he is not the father nor you chanting “my marriage is standing solid". |
As long as she left home after she clocked 18 and no longer a minor, the police can never establish a case of a minor being coerced by you to run away from home. You are both young and so much ahead of you, you are too young to get into the mix of a dysfunctional family. She shouldn't be co-habiting with you and your mother approving it. This is not love, this is someone escaping abuse from her family and you are more like the bus she entered to escape from those chasing her. Her mother has no right to go the length she went, so involve a lawyer to recover all that was stolen from you and the inhumane treatment at the police station, you can go further by taking it to court if you choose to. I believe she has relatives on both sides of her family who are cool headed, she should get them involved and they all work out an alternative place where she can stay, away from her mother and she discuss with them to help her start learning a skill, once she is through with the apprenticeship and establishes herself, she can always enroll for part time program at a university. |
spy24:Truth, it is never a scam. |
Congratulations to your daughter for her award. "At times I wake up in the middle of the night to ease myself, and there she is, ironing the Children's uniforms".....I just to want to believe that is when "NEPA light" was restored but if it is a pattern on her own part, she has to slow it down. I love neatness but I love children who play and get dirty, like the tag line of OMO.....dirt is good! ![]() |
Zigzagman:Yes. |
Dimaya:Why did the host not get a psychologist who has a specialty in trauma, to be there? Discussing ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) triggers and it tends to re-traumatize thus the reason, mental health professionals get involved. I watched and didn't get to see the trauma debrief process that should have come up. In as much as it is a talk show, do research! |
The woman has no business confronting her husband's pregnant girlfriend. She should only confront the husband with the details she found on his phone and also inform both sides of their families, how he diverted their children' school fees to his girlfriend to procure an abortion (should anything happen to the girlfriend in the cause of the abortion and the police trace it to the husband....they have been pre-informed) She is better off getting herself and their children, a smaller apartment she can comfortably afford on her own. She can have the children enrolled at a nearby public school while she stabilizes financially unless the husband insists on them attending private schools and footing the bills. With the thoughts of stabbing the husband to death already crossing her mind, she is better off living separately to avoid completion of murder or the children may face the reality of a murdered father and a mother serving life imprisonment. |
bukatyne:The percentage that get back to the education pathway (many of the adolescent brides didn't make it past the primary level of education) is very insignificant in comparison to those that don't. Realistically, at age 20 with 3 children.....there is little or no motivation to re-engage in formal western education though they may have a chance at that, if they are married to men are financially comfortable and liberal enough to get her back to school while making provisions for those who would help her care for the children, |
They see nothing wrong in their daughters being teenage wives and still expect to have female doctors to attend to their females! |
On which roads? |
inoki247:UK government have no issue spending money on that, the company I also work with have many homes where those young persons taken away from their parents are being taken care of in residential homes with support workers and house managers. One of our houses is a 3 bedroom duplex, with just only one 15 year old girl and we have 6 support workers doing 12hrs shifts, one team leader, one house manager and one responsible individual. Then, there is car in the home that takes the young person shopping, hospital appointments, library etc and every week the young person is given pocket money and every month, money for cloth shopping. |
mikkyword:Don't mix up abuse with discipline. |
grandstar:Especially in rural communities across Nigeria, there is are glaring numbers of stunted children and poor brain development which seems to be a non-issue at various levels of government. |
DeLaRue:It would. Graduate well and try getting registered with Social Work England. |
Social work. |
Kukutente23:The same people have been assured over the decades by military heads, what has changed or did it stop the killings? The report says 300 people have been killed between late April and now, which is an average of 100 deaths per month. |
Meritjoshua:Reading through your narration, I am just visualizing rough wiring of a brain and a venn diagram with 3 circles that overlaps each other with you being the coloured centre, a basic mapping of your family. One theme is very constant and that is PARENTAL NEGLECT and that made you being tossed around, bad for a wholesome development of a child. In one venn, you have your father, your step mother and possibly half-siblings, then in the second venn is your mother with another set of half-siblings and a step father who have absconded and finally in the third venn, your grandfather and your other maternal relatives.

Las, las, many of the views we hold passionately now here on NL, would become irrelevant to our personal states in life in the years to come. ![]() |
Depriest2020:Then take a tour across communities and settlements in the state. This is my sector, overwhelming majority of children across Nigeria are not developing properly: poor nutrition, low weight, poor healthcare services, iodine deficiency disorder which causes many children to struggle with impaired cognition and very evident in poor academic performance and when most become adults, nothing much is in their brain. |
kokoA:Na their format. |
Ebus12:That was no therapy facility nor were any of the persons there trained to work in one. |
U no see grounded therapy practices and pay for their professional services? ![]() |
