You need to see the substandard materials and structures these Anambra men build in Asaba. They don’t even call Engineers, they just draw plan from their heads and get old bricklayers to do the work.

Can we also see the diligence with which the government follow up such and compel erring builders to comply with best practice or be punished? Obviously such substandard structures won't be built if the perpetrators know very well that government won't tolerate it.

These legislators know the truth but they keep skirting around it: Simply cut back on your salaries and allowances if you are sincerely looking for a way to cut back on your expenditure. This is alot more practical and pragmatic than what is being proposed here which would even require a constitutional ammendment!

They feel so good taking away very large chunk of the national budget as their allowances and salaries alone while so little is left for the real actual work that needs to be done, and so many of the miserable masses still think such people have their interest at heart.
