Well the people bold enough to do so have been killed off during the civil war. It will never happen again
Those bold enough not to be violent and not to be divided,do not need to be silent neither do they need to go to war, neither do they need to be fighting each other and spreading hate amongst each other who are fellow victims of same cruel elitist government, my good friend. For clarity sake, there are 2 major classes in the country: the elites, and the masses.

To all of you people calling for
total Breakdown of the Government

You people should not forget that there are criminals in every nook and cranny of this country looking for opportunities like this to come out to destroy and Loot

Criminals can hijack this struggle and Libya and Somalia will be a child play

If Fulani herdsmen have any Agenda to invade and overrun Southern Nigeria, they will use this opportunity and when the Government has completely break down, there will be no one to call for help

Bandits will go on rampage

Fulani herdsmen will go on rampage

Kidnappers and Arm Robbers will go on rampage

Bokoharam will go on rampage, Cultists will go on rampage

Shitte will go on rampage, it will end in chaos and destruction if the government break down because there are too many criminals in Nigeria

It will be every man for himself

Don't give criminals chance to hijack this struggle or else Somalia and Libya will be child play
Total government breakdown can never be the target of such peaceful protests but to drive government to perform their true functions. If government was true to itself and focused on its core duties, why will well meaning Nigerians be on the streets in protest? To protest against good governance?

Welcome to Nigeria where people prefer to hear its fulani herdmen. Communal clashes have been going on in cross river . No one bothers to report as na only fulani readers wan hear.
You deliberately want to make seem like a mere communal clash. You definitely know what you are doing. These guys are known for blood and violence wherever they go. Pray your don't see reprisals and large scale blood letting by people in their very own communities. I guess eye-witness accounts mean nothing to you.

Welcome home to the prodigal son.
Time to recoup the tithes and offerings you've missed and to show off those new denims and sneakers you just got.

I have zero respect for pastors...because I know firsthand that just like public speaking, it is a profession for most of them.
They rarely are in tune with God but only on the lookout for the success of their establishment.

The problem however is members like this who worship man and consider pastors as infallible forgetting that the norm now for most jobless youths who are tired of job-hunting is to enrol into a pastoral school.

But I won't end without giving the government its share of the blame.

Imagine if the coal corporation, Nigerian Railway, NIPOST, NITEL, Waterboard, Steel Industries and Refineries were working and jobs were surplus.

Do you think we would have had these many pastors today?
Sadly, not far from the truth. I wonder what is wrong with relevant stakeholders carrying out thorough investigation into the matter to either confirm the allegations (of rape by several women against the pastor) true or otherwise. Anyone not interested in querying this is obviously not interested in knowing the truth.

I am going to agree with Miyetti Allah on this one...

The truth is, anyone can wake up and say 'It is fulani herdsmen' just like that, with no witnesses, no one seeing anything, nothing. Just 'It's Fulani herdsmen'.

In times like this, one should wait for the Police to investigate thoroughly...but because, sadly, most Nigerians don't trust their police forces, and because the Police is underequiped....no one wants to wait or beleive.

Let's drop the hearsay. This is not a call for justification of acts of violence, but a call to let reason prevail, and a call to get our government to properly equip the police, and end cattle herding and crime.
Where government is known to wilfully refuse to equip police, what then?
I guess its impossible to have the so called genuine harmless herdsmen graze in their very own territory since their host believe they are murderers and so do not want them. Mind you northerners of other forms of occupations like trading are there in the south east and have a history of conducting themselves well, hence no accusing fingers being pointed at them. Herdsmen case is definitely different with a history of blood and violence. The first step is to separate them from their hosts, except you have ulterior motive of having the blood flow continue if not engineering it yourself.

Hereafter:
I think the low IQ is the issue, and it is more devastating when it is being displayed by so called educated ones. Religion, poverty and ethnicity have so taken away the sense of reasoning. The ability to analyse situations and reach a reasonable conclusion is lacking in most Nigerians. We often forget that the politicians are so powerful that they can influence a lot and make Nigeria a better place to live. They can reduce unemployment, improve infrastructure, provide electricity, improve security, why do they make it look like we need a miracle to achieve these? We you see people defending a government, you wonder whether we are living in the same country. What is the way forward Nigerians, is it revolution, restructuring or what else?
The bolded, very true.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced the kidnap of five pastors of the church.

Adeboye disclosed this on Friday during a talk at the Redeemed Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The pastors were on their way to attend the church’s ministers’ conference in Lagos.

Adeboye said the abduction took place on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode axis.

He charged the congregation to pray for the release of the abductees, saying it was the first time such incident was happening.

“As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” he asked.

PoliticsRe: Buhari To Inaugurate New Ministers After 16th Of August - SGF by mindtricks:
Princsk1:
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari is expected to inaugurate the 43 ministerial nominees recently screened by the Senate after an Induction Retreat slated for August 15-16 in Abuja.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Gida Mustapha, in a statement on Friday said that following confirmation by the Senate, all Ministers designate are to note that relevant documents for their study and guidance, preparatory to the inauguration of the Cabinet shall be available for collection at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) (Cabinet Affairs Office) from 10.00am on Tuesday August 6, 2019.

According to Mustapha, Ministers designate are also requested to bring along and submit to the OSGF, their updated CV in soft and hard copies as well as any valid identification document.

“I am pleased to inform you that, in view of the need to allow Ministers designate enough time to study the documents (Status Report on Policies, Programmes and Projects; the 2019-2023 Road Map, and FEC Handbook among others) and considering the upcoming Sallah break, Mr. President has approved an Induction Retreat for Ministers Designate to be held at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja from August 15-16, 2019,” he said.

He also urged those concerned to contact the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office (CAO), OSGF, for further clarification.

While all the ministers designate were cleared by the Senate, none of them has been assigned portfolios and it is expected that they will be assigned portfolios after the August 16 retreat or during their inauguration.

Nothing new.

When Sunni dictators cannot handle dissent, they resort to labelling people "terrorist". Wahhabi Saudi Arabia that Bubu and his fellow Sunnis look up to, did this:

Saudi Arabia declares all atheists are terrorists in new law to crack down on political dissidents
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/saudi-arabia-declares-all-atheists-are-terrorists-in-new-law-to-crack-down-on-political-dissidents-9228389.html

The FG is declaring Nigerians as " terrorists" for protesting and holding a different religious doctrine. The court of law they are going to, in fact the the supreme court, has told the FG to release Zakzaky and compensate him. The FG is making a mockery out of the law and court rulings.

Meanwhile it is the Wahhabis that are the real terrorists, from alqaeda to boko haram to Isis to alshabab etc. They will not ban herdsmen causing trouble with ammunitions. They will ban those walking on the streets chanting songs.
Interesting times ahead. Wisdom is key to managing these issues.
