We started chatting on whatsapp and after sometime, when i started jamb tutorial class, we became close.. Along the line, i got carried away one night and we kissed, and he forced me to giving him 'B.J'(didn't even know what it was). THERE WAS NO SEX! I was ashamed of myself and decided not to continue. I actually left him there but threatened to report. Ever since then, he kept trying to blackmail me into having a relationship with him. When he saw i was going to give in, he started telling people about it, that we had sex.

I'm so scared right now, my family mustn't hear this.


Should i report to his family?(they know my mom). Should i embarass him and ask him to quit ruining me?(sounds like a bad idea).
Should I beat him to his own game by reporting to the authorities and charge him for child abuse considering i was fifteen when all these happened?? Is it even possible? Pls your advise is needed.

If this generation has already gotten this bad, I shudder at the thought of what future generations will be like should Christ tarry.

Having been birthed from the trenches of polygamy, I think I am well equipped to talk about this topic. I am focusing on this subject because it has not been confronted for years and it is slowly being bred into our mind by the media. Debating polygamy will remind us why we should all join the fight to abolish it.
I would not be talking about women who are forced into polygamy due to religion or culture but will be addressing women who go into polygamy voluntarily, e.g., the side chicks A.K.A. baby mamas.


What are the practical reasons for women living in such a life style?
‘Majority of ladies in Nigeria are greedy. They have unrealistic expectations of guys and as a result ignore average guys and then go for the alpha male who believe they are a gift to women and the world’-humilitypays. They would rather have 10% of a 100% man than 100% of a 10% man.
Many single women entering into adulterous polygamy have idealistic ideas about great joy, power, wealth, financial security, respect, etc. which never happens completely especially when they realize they are just a number. Another reason is, a sense of family motivates women into polygamy especially those who are approaching 30 with no suitor.

Women like this betray their own moral compass and justify the affair. Women like this don't care about anyone else but themselves not even their kids. No respect for others or themselves, no mind to know right from wrong, no mind to know when to take responsibility for their actions. Dishonest and liars. Bad parenting. They have no twinge of conscience.
Many women with children who keep on staying in this mentally abusive façade say its for their children and for them to get their equal share of wealth. Lies. The children are being used as financial security in the beginning.

The only positive part of polygamy is that women learn to share while denying their own selfish desires.
Many polygamous men end up with irresponsible ladies who leech off them. The prospectives of adulterous polygamous men is dating prospective new wives.

From my analysis, I realize in many cases, polygamous fathers die alone
Many polygamists distance themselves from their families, pursue and woo other women to make themselves feel virile and worthy to become gods. Polygamous men see themselves as better or more valuable than other members of their family especially the women. Fathers are more like visitors in their children's lives.

From what I have seen in my experience as a child born and raised in polygamy, there is always one favourite wife, sometimes more and favourite child or children. The children who are unlucky enough to be the offspring of the mother who is not the favourite wife are often neglected and sometimes abused by their father. Growing up in polygamy is a trap, you basically have no identity.

Women and Men who voluntarily go into polygamy is as a result of bad parenting and often repeat the same to their children. There is no unity in polygamy, occasional cat fights between neglected and jealous wives. These kids grow up hating themselves, one(depending on whose side they are on) or both parents. Modern day polygamists children are often lost in the crowd of needy siblings and often resent the fact that they are notches in their fathers belt.

A very high percentage of children who come out from polygamous home are depressed and often tend to lead the lives their parents lived. They are too unhappy and confused to make wise choices. Any young woman who didn't get enough attention from her father can be a prime target for a lustful man(Yoruba demon) who steps in to fill their need for fatherly love.

Sometimes, I wonder why Nigeria isn't moving forward when we have staunch polygamists like Tinubu, Obasanjo, etc., at the helm of affairs whose families are not united but think they are in the best position to unite a country. No polygamous society has ever being a true liberal democracy.

Polygamy is not the beautiful principle and lifestyle some people try to claim it is. There is no benefit in polygamy. It is a destroyer of natural affection. Anyone who partakes in affairs get berated in the end. No matter what anyone says, it is usually terrible for the children and I wish children from polygamous families won't propagate this life style.

The world can be your problem but you are your own solution.

Disclaimer: I am only addressing the emotional aspect when mentioning polygamous children and not their ability to be successful in their chosen path in life.

Jeff Sessions would embolden the culture of white privilege bringing it mainstream into federal policy in the justice system.

Missjo, you are wrong about the flag. It's a settled case that flag burning is Proctected under the First amendment. Even late Justice Scalia said that as much as he hates flag burning, he was no king and that flag burning is constitutional. Why would Trump threatens loss of citizenship which he couldn't do or jailing someone for exercising their rights. He's gonna be one hell of a president. It's gonna be fun for the next four years.

You didn't get the gist of my post Lucas. I know flag burning is protected under the first amendment, I didn't dispute that.

These are the two points I was hoping to make in few words with my previous post:
1. Burning a flag is indeed protected under the first amendment, but one can get charged with a misdemeanor for starting a fire without permit. Doesn't matter if the fire is raging over a flag, get it?
This is a technicality and the perpetrator can get away with just a fine. WELCOME TO THE AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM, I bet you know a lot about technicalities yea.

2. The supreme Court has been trying to overturn that first amendment ruling for a long time now and they have been unsuccessful. Between 1990 and now there have been Republican and Democrat majority in at least one of two houses of parliament at various times, so it is not even a case of who owns the majority or who runs the oval office, to effect an overturn of the ruling.
Which is why I said it has very little to do with Trump's tweet because that's just what it is, A TWEET, as is usual with the loose vocal orifice he possesses. He can't just tweet it and it becomes LAW, ergo, much ado over nothing.

As for Trump and the tweet, the superme court has been trying to overturn the ruling which says burning the American flag isn't a crime since 1990. It has very little to do with what Trump tweets.

I guess what you're implying is the issue of civil rights in the coming administration will be a case of 'from frying pan to fire'. Obama being the frying pan and Donald being fire, cos the justice system under Democrats hasn't been all that if you look at it objectively. Racial bias remains an issue regardless.

Yea. There's no way to determine who gets affected the most because each divorce is peculiar in its own way.
Most times it's women who initiate it but that doesn't necessarily translate into the man getting affected most. Sometimes the man tries to beg, other times the man is like 'I don't know what you've been waiting for'.

It's why I try NEVER to take sides in marital issues because it's always 'He said/She said & He did/She did'. When they were both moaning in ecstacy to the high heavens, I wasn't called to give an opinion.

I'll be frank with you, I have noticed this issue of locking one's phone from their partners is a big deal with Nigerians and every time it's talked about, all I keep hearing/reading is the cheating factor.
There's a topic on this subject and I stopped reading the comments when I got to page 4 because all everyone kept talking about is the cheating/hiding something factor.

Do you know that the most important reason to keep your phone accessible at all times to your partner is for safety reasons?
Even if there were a password, its imperative your partner is aware of it because in the case of emergencies, access to your phone might just save your life. It's that simple and I don't understand why two people in a relationship will make their phones a no-go area to each other. Beats my imagination.

Personally, I feel the person who has the most to lose is usually the one who feels affected most.

It's still surreal that a candidate could lead the popular vote by over 2 million votes, and still lose in the EC.

I hope you people realize that Jill Stein's efforts to prove a rigged system will finally expose the American electoral system as one which is not corruption-free as the world has been led to believe.

I've been following news all day of reports prompting Hillary to trigger a recount in Wisconsin,Pennsylvania and Michigan.No response from Hillary or the DNC.

Jill Stein has filed for a recount in these three states,as of this moment has raised $450k out of the $2million needed to begin the process.

I'm not saying the election was rigged in these states but I support the recount,it guarantees the sanctity of our voting system.Seeing how close the race was especially in Michigan where it's .3% I'd say anything could have gone wrong. Let's see what comes out of it.

So Trump had a clue afterall and the system is truly rigged, even after professionals were all over CNN saying it is highly impossible for the election to be rigged?
