The way some of you talk despite being literate shows that even compound ignoramuses have hope of being reasonable. my brother, you too much. I have been saying this to those who care to listen. omoadeleye: So how does Britain request similar to that of Nigeria own?
At least Britain and India are all about clamping down tweeps tweeting dangerous tweets.
While, our own president tweeted a tweet which will include killing of some particular people and this type of tweet is against their policy hence twitter taking it down.
If you want to give order to kill some particular people, you have national television and news paper medias in your country that can help you circulate your agendas.
Now, your tweet was deleted, you got emotional and threw tantrums. They are one and the same because with regulation comes penalty. If regulation had been in place, there would have been no need for tweeter's ban. The grouse of the FG is mainly not because of the takedown of Mr president's tweet but because of the support of the Endsars and subversive elements by tweeter. During Endsars, the FG advised tweeter to take down offensive tweets but tweeter refused citing Freedom of expression. Therefore, if there was regulation in place, tweeter would have done the right thing. |

What bodies? of the 96, only three is connected to the Lekki tollgate and out of those three only one died of gunshot wounds. Now, the time of death (whether it coincide with the army shooting was not stated), the type of bullet (whether it is that of the army), was not stated. Check all you want, there was no massacre at Lekki tollgate. |

OsuAmaka: There is nothing genocidal about the tweet. It was rather a stern warning to the UGM killing security forces, burning federal infrastructures, looting goods belonging to the Northerners and assassinating their perceived northern enemies. Buhari gave a shoot at sight order against anyone found carrying AK47 but no one went beserk because it was seen to be directed at the killer herdsmen. So, why are hypocrites screaming out their lungs when it involves their favorite UGM

wisdom from an elder is priceless. Unlike some destiny Killers and destroyers whose only aim is to make money at the expense of people's lives MNK is a goat all he does is to whip up sentiments/emotions and his Biafra zombies would just follow him without asking questions. he says look at Buhari's ear, they shout yeah. then he says look at Buhari's Nose they shout yeah! yeah!!. he says look at Buhari's hairline, Look at his neck, his height, his palm, at this point, MNK's zombies are in a frenzy. they shout give us biafruad! give us biafruad!!, while donating their lives, their money, their properties to him! this is a joke. Biafra is a joke. Who builds a Nation based on Jokes? If not IPOB. Very important questions need to be asked. Questions like financial plans: How do we fund the Nation. Presently the 5 states (or 5 small LGA's whose land can barely feed 100k people) do not generate even a penny to the federation account all they do is go to Abuja to beg for funds. or is it through ariaria Market, fake and adulterated products, second hand goods and hard drugs that the Biafra nation will be funded? How do we pay our debts. (Zombies, note this. You will pay your share of the $32 trillion Nigeria currently owes before you leave). Developmental plans: where is biafra going to be in the next 10 years, 20 years, how do we fund it. Do we borrow etc political plan: Presidential or parliamentary, etc. That is how nations are formed/created. not by killing people's destiny. |

oyokometer: DO WE NEED REFERENDUM OR ELECTION COME 2023.?
Can the northern region accept restructuring which allows a level playing ground and enables those that produce higher to get higher?
Check the below and see if restructuring will ever be accepted by the northern region.
We the people must act now! Some will brand this write up “evil and a lie”, but facts and numbers don’t lie. Mathematics they say is a universal language anyone can see with his eye.
LET'S SET RECORDS STRAIGHT
Out of the total of 360 House of Reps members, the entire South has 169, while the North has 191. Here is the breakdown:
South East Imo 10 Reps Abia 8 Reps Ebonyi 6 Reps Anambra 11 Reps Enugu 8 Reps Total= 43.
South South Akwa Ibom 10 Reps Bayelsa 5 Reps Cross River 8 Reps Delta 10 Reps Edo 9 Reps Rivers 13 Reps Total= 55 Reps.
SOUTHEAST & SOUTHSOUTH GRAND TOTAL =98 only.
South West Ekiti 6 Reps Lagos 24 Reps Ogun 9 Reps Ondo 9 Reps Oyo 14 Reps Osun 9 Reps Total = 71 Reps.
North West Kano 24 Reps Kaduna 16 Reps Jigawa 11 Reps Katsina 15 reps Kebbi 8 Reps Sokoto 11 Reps Zamfara 7 Reps Total = 92 Reps.
North East Adamawa 8 Reps Bauchi 12 Reps Borno 10 reps Gombe 6 Reps Taraba 6 Reps Yobe 6 Reps Total = 48 Reps.
North Central Benue 11 Reps Kogi 9 Reps Kwara 6 Reps Nassarawa 5 Reps Plateau 8 Reps Niger 10 Reps Total = 49 Reps.
FCT 2 Reps.
GRAND TOTAL OF THE NORTH =191 The question is, how dare you upstage this people in a vote? Even if Southeast, South-south and Southwest joined together cannot upstage the North.
More facts coming...
INJUSTICE OF OIL ALLOCATION IN NIGERIA (1)
North Central receives 20%; CONTRIBUTES 0.00%. North East receives 16%; CONTRIBUTES 0.00%. North West receives 21%; CONTRIBUTES 0.00%. Every month, the 19 Northern states receive a minimum of 57% of 100% of oil revenue to which they CONTRIBUTE 0.00%.
South West receives 16%; CONTRIBUTES 3.97%.
South East receives 11.00%; CONTRIBUTES 25.07%.
South South receives 15.00%; CONTRIBUTES 70.64%.
More facts... LGAs in NIGERIA: Nigeria has 774 LGAs. The North has 19 states, and the 19 states have 419 LGAs.
The South has 17 states, and the 17 states have 357 LGAs.
Working with the data from the office of the Accountant General as published by the Ministry of Finance (2013 April), the 357 LGAs of the 17 southern states receive 45.1% of what they contribute is 100%.
The 419 LGAs of the 19 Northern states receive 54.9% of what they contribute is 0.00%. So those hoping for a hopeless hope for restructuring should wake up. The north will Never allow restructuring because they know that they can't survive in a level playing ground. Let me stop here for now .....alot on my mind.
Now you see that the north is seriously draining and stifling the development of the south?
One Nigeria is the biggest fraud ever and MUST end.
What the people of Nigeria need is a referendum to end this evil contraption called Nigeria and an emergence of the stifled nations within.
We CAN NOT be silent about it. He that is silent in the days of the adversity of the oppressed, is more guilty and has taken the side of the oppressor.
Let’s keep sharing it to create more awareness. Please share. South East Contributes 0.00% in terms of revenue to the Federal coffers. Shi Shi dem no dey drop. Abi where d money won come from? Stone or potopoto. |

omonnakoda: Very wordy.
In order to invest your own money you need numbers.
Is NNPC or anything associated with Nigeria capable of a transparent deal. How is a valuation arrived . You make it sound as if it is a good deal at any price
You say oil swap for equity deals happen all the time
Please tell us of one such success story. JUST ONE
The question is why are the Pension Funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds not interested.
If NNPC is to pay in oil do you realize how many year's oil production that will be? Bear in Mind that NOT ALL OIL REVENUES ARE PROFIT We are talking more than one year's production If that is to happen there must be some figures on the table Like I said earlier oil swaps are still ongoing. presently, NNPC has oil swap deals with various refineries in the world. So It will not be a new thing. Also, you sound as if nothing good can come out of NNPC, as if you know more than those at the helm of affairs in the oil industry. Let me tell you something, you know nothing. Let the specialists in affairs of this manner take care of it period. |
Business › Re: NNPC 20% Acquisition: Dangote Refinery May Drag Nigeria Into Further Debt by Misterone: 5:03pm On Jun 01, 2021 |
obynzo: The question is it a beneficial deal using Oil for Equity and again there are questions on the valuation of the refinery if Dangote would not overexaggerate the value of the refinery to cash out. Again there seems to be a likely possibility that the refinery may be running into some cash flow issues normally in a project missed deadlines may lead to cost overruns which impacts on the project budget and with the way the deadlines have been revised it is more likely that Dangote might be running into cash flow problems. My question is why go to a state owned oil company for a stake what of the capital market or seek some Venture capitalists to invest in the refinery. Govt using NNPC to get a stake in the refinery seems more like a bailout to boost cash flow for the refinery to me All the points you highlighted are neither here nor there. Cash flow problems or not, does that make the project unviable? I guess Not. on the issue of oil for equity, this is not the first time it's been done and its still ongoing. Oil swaps have been going on for ages. On the issue of valuation, you and I are not members of the negotiation team therefore, we cannot judge. but one thing is certain, Government is a continuum. therefore whatever is done in secret or against the country will surely come out one day. Now on the issue of why NNPC Should invest in this project, 1. It is private owned therefore it will be profit oriented 2. This is a huge project that will affect the country if done right. It will not be proper for government to leave something like this to outsiders and not have a sit at the table when decisions that would affect the lives of citizens are made. 3. Some companies are too big to fail therefore government must be involve in them for example lockheed Martins, GM motors etc in USA. Nigeria is the only country that export Crude oil and import refined products. Security or financial wise, It makes no sense. It has to stop. Our own refineries cannot work because of bottlenecks, red tapes, government policies like FAAC (share everything and keep nothing), labour (downsize and we go on strike), quota system (every part of the country must be represented whether you are qualified or not) and attitude to work (I work, I no work government must pay me). So you see, government has no business in business. |
Business › Re: NNPC 20% Acquisition: Dangote Refinery May Drag Nigeria Into Further Debt by Misterone: 10:48am On Jun 01, 2021 |
This article was not well researched. it seems as if it was written by those who are against the progress of government. First of all, NNPC does not need to borrow money to buy a stake in the refinery. They can pay with crude oil therefore, all these analysis on interest and accumulation of what not should not arise. Seondly, having a stake in the refinery gives regulator an insight on what is going on in the refinery. Thirdly, this is a means to make profit for government |
