You would think that northerners would be asking that question. They should be making the most noise considering it is their region up in flames, mired in abject poverty.

I agree Sir, Low-level Atheists are very superstitious. They cling to half-baked scientific theory to boost their ego. It is baseless and empty because their comic book fantasies can not provide answers to the pressing needs of deep human suffering. Atheists want to clone humans without heart/emotions/soul to be low-level logical robotic beings.

Low-level Atheists claim that atheism is nothing but a "disbelief." Lol.
A dis-belief is in fact a belief in something else, such as the accidental Big-Bang between two misbehaved planets. Therefore all Low-level Atheists arguments are accidental.

Yes Sir, All Atheists arguments and trolling are really accidental !!

What has the honorable Nairalander, Vaxx have to say to help us move forward from all this ?
It is possible to say that one theory is far-fetched (e.g. Islam or Christianity) and admit to be unsure about other ideas.

Some people are comfortable saying "I don't know but there are people who have spent their entire lives investigating this issue, ask them."

I detest churches but I'm glad that they are FINALLY using their influence to do something that might make the country better.

If they tell the people to vote for Buhari, or anyone aligned with Buhari, I will retract my statement.

The pertinent question is how Tesla reached such a lofty valuation selling less than 100,000 cars, while Toyota which sells 10 million cars per year is valued at $190bln only.

Teslas valuation is built on fluff and speculation and they are burning through investor money much like UBER. Elon better sit up and be serious about these pertinent questions.
Because of government subsidies and legislation worldwide that will ultimately lead to the end of vehicles that need fuel.

The subsidies have kept Tesla afloat so far but they will end and they will need the Model 3 and other affordable models, to stay afloat and competitive.

It is not factual, but metaphorical.... Just like the moon light stories we listened to those days, to teach us certain morals.. But this case, it is to teach us spiritual morals.. At the end of the story they ask you :what did you learn from the story,? A typical example aside the one under consideration is the story of Onan when he refused to impregnate his brother wife and God killed him, the spiritual message is to discourage you from irresponsible pleasure... That is pleasure without responsibility. The story did not happen.
Christians, Jews and Muslims have all claimed that the figures written about in the Old Testament all existed. You are now claiming that they are fictional.

What is a 'spiritual moral'?

Morals are morals.

Did the Romans invent this story too?

Every house has just one head. God is the head of the Universe. God doesn't share His sovereign power with anybody. The devil is the one who has always sort to undermine His rule, but that's an absolute impossibility. It's however a pity that you have allowed yourself to be used in this grand deception of the devill. Stop this confusion Mr. Otem.

Let me ask you, will you share your position as a father with strangers in the same house, all of them laying claim to your son? How is that even possible?

You talk so much about nature and yet fail to learn the vital lessons in it which God has made.

A nation has one leader and he has subjects.
A community has leader as well as subjects.

But when it comes to God, you say there are many gods in charge. Does that make any sense?

God almighty is Yahweh. The maker, sovereign ruler and owner of the entire universe.

Satan is the devil, the thief, the liar and deceiver. He is a fallen angel, whose place shall be the lake of fire.

They are not the same.

Jesus Christ is Lord over all. Amen!
On the one hand you say that God Almighty (Yahweh) is sovereign of the entire universe.

But then you end with "Jesus Christ is Lord over all".

You understand that those two sentences contradict each other?

If Lagos is really serious, it will have to destroy hundreds of thousands or maybe even millions of glorified shanties posing as dwellings of human habitation, roadside markets, and seriously depopulate by finding a way of chasing millions out of the state (it may even have to adopt the Israeli or European model of 'bribing' some people to just leave the overpopulated state for sanity's sake). Anything less na wash.
Nothing wrong with paying people to vacate a place. You cannot then claim to have been 'cheated' or abused.

There's really no need for all the wheelbarrow pushers, road side barbers and touts in Lagos.

Let those people return home and ask questions of their useless LGA chairmen, traditional rulers and governors.

Hmm.... be humble enough to search out the truth, not with human pride. While you are complaining of not seeing evidence, others are saying they've found it. Does that say something about your approach?

Let's say It's an exam, the text material is one and the same. The answers are all in the book. But only the diligent and humble in this case will find it out.

If a student fails a test, will he/she excuse him/her self out for not seeing the answers in the testbook?. The question will be, what about those who passed the test?.

Man has no excuse before God. Any man who sincerely and diligently search for God will find Him, God will reveal Himself to such.
You keep talking in riddles. Where is this evidence?

Why have the Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Mormons and others rejected the evidence presented by Christians?

Why have Orthodox Christians rejected the evidence presented by Catholics? Catholics by Protestants?

Why are you not a Scientologist? They have as much 'evidence' as the various xtian sects?
Christianity Etc › Re: Good Reasons To Be An Atheist Now. by mmsen: 3:55pm On May 02, 2018

Your choice is yours. So also is the consequences of your own choices. Twisting it won't excuse you either. This argument is simply evident of the fact that you have at one point or the other heard about God and His laws. The choice to obey or not is yours. The outcome is yours as well. No one will share it with you.

If you believe in God today, that won't make Him what He's not already, neither will your not believing in Him remove a thing from Him. Everything He's doing is for your own good. If you say no, do you suppose He will force you or dance to your own tune? Never!

Now is the time of grace, and God has deliberately delayed His judgement so no one will give excuse when shows up, so you can say, do whatever you like but when the day of judgement comes you will know who God really is. Nobody plays with fire!. I pray you get saved, the wrath of God is not what anybody can wish even to his worst enemy.

Jesus saves.
There are no 'facts' or 'evidence' when it comes to this religious nonsense hence why there are so many deities, so many religions and an infinite number of 'laws' supposedly given to us by the gods.

He punished the Israelite when they joined the Asyrians to sacrifice their children to mooch.
Why would he hate human sacrifice when he engaged in it himself?

There's no 'good' time to do what is wrong. The man who fails to discipline him/herself to do what is uncomfortable now, will have to settle with the pain of regrets and anguish later.

Let's use our God given wisdom to think about good things not how to avoid God's word. God cannot be mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
You're right. Which is why being a xtian or Muslim is absurd.

You should have just answered her question instead of all these weak attempt at hiding the truth. Most if not all of the religious inclined killings in Nigeria are perpetrated by muslims or in the name of islam. It did not start today, but as far back as the early 80s (if not earlier). Can any christian kill muslims in the north in the name of terrorism and all hell will not break loose? Mr man, I know it's hard to be objective on issues like this especially for fanatics like you but you need to accept the hard truth.
