Range Rover can never win the legal battle. Most of those international laws don't apply in China.

They should go and learn from iPhone.

GooPhone a company that does clone iPhones even sued iPhone for copying it's design because it got the renders of iPhone before it was released and quickly made a clone of it before the original iPhone got released. GooPhone then accused iPhone of stealing it's design
That's nothing.

The company that stole Segway's IP, subsequently stole its market and then used its profits to buy Segway.

I totally disagree with you. Population determines the size of market for any business. So it is a blessing.

What our people need is empowerment.
Empowerment comes from enlightenment and education (and not in the narrow sense of the word).

That will not happen when you have a population that is growing at a ridiculous rate - who is going to educate these children when there are too many for them to be cared for adequately?

Count the number of passengers that alight from luxurious buses coming from the SE, and coaster busrs from other parts of the country, who disembark at the various motor parks in Lagos, everyday.
You don't know how many of those people are visiting and how many are moving to Lagos.

What we need is a proper census to count how many people live in each particular city, state, town or village. Instead of the useless 'state of origin' nonsense that helps no one.

Until that happens we won't know how many people move to Lagos to live.
Politics › Re: Why Lagos May Collapse - Donald Duke by mmsen:
Exponential population growth is not a 'blessing', it is usually the result of gross indiscipline, ignorance and stupidity.

Once we realize that we can tackle the problem.

Also, where are the stats to support the claim that 750,000 people move to Lagos every year?

Such a useless comment.

People who think like you are the reason why Nigeria is what it is.

If you want to say he is ineffective in his position then that is one thing but to judge him on his appearance is something that teenage girls do - it is incredibly petty and shows a lack of intelligence.

I can swear with my life that nobody wants Nigeria to remain this way, everybody wants a better Nigeria. Even those clamouring for biafra. We all love Nigeria but sometimes our personal interest clash with national interest.
Back in 2004 at bayelsa, during the construction of a government secondary school at sagamu, some boys were stealing our tools. I confronted them and they said it belongs to the government and not us. How people justify stealing.

Never give up on Nigeria. We could make change happen
That stupid way of thinking is a hang over from the colonial era when people did not feel that they had a say.

Now that they have more of a say (or could if the held their local leaders to account) they continue with their foolish ways.

This is what happens when stupid people pass on their habits and ideas to their children, they end up with chaos.

Two great men...

Can’t help but compare obama to GEJ..

Most Americans voted trump out of hate for Obama

Most Nigerians voted Buhari out of hate for GEJ..

Now these people are both suffering

What does that tell you?..
That human beings are stupid and can't appreciate good until something terrible happens.

Yams imported from Nigeria are now available in the UK.

I personally bought 3 tubers last week from an African store in the UK.

I was initially skeptical about the purchase as I worried that I might get home only to cut the yam and find out that it’s gone bad. However, when I cut and cooked the yam, it was very fresh, white and tasted superb.

This is no APC propaganda.
They've been available abroad for years.

These people like running their mouths too much.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Only Africans That Believe In The Existence Of Ghosts And Witches? by mmsen:
j1mmy:
well...But Africans have almost monopolized it and as such all manner of commonsense fell by the wayside!

If you are comparing with Americans (for example)
You will not find 10% of Americans who think their jobs came from god or juju
You will not find 10% of Americans who think their illness was caused by their enemies (in-laws, ex wife, business partner...rubbish like that)
You will not find 10% of Americans who think people can fly at night
You will not find 10% of Americans who think electricity, children, cars and recovery from problems came from god or juju)
You will not find 10% of Americans who have uncountable children because they think god will feed them

The list goes on, but you will find over 90% of Africans who are stupid enough to believe very basic level of idiocy!

Americans believe in all sorts but commonsense approach to life still outsmarts the level that many Africans are at today.

The African approach is more closer to apes mentality on the subjects than the current human ones practiced by other sections of global society!
There are dumb people the world over. The average citizen of any society is not going to be intelligent.

And you will find people who think that their job or 'blessings' come from a deity in north America, a lot more than 10% if the number of xtians is anything to go by.

The same is true in China where people engage in ancestral worship and offer sacrifices to dead people.

The problem in Africa is that a critical mass of people who are able to think rationally have not grasped the reins of power in any one country to steer that society in the right direction. If they did all of the useless traditional and religious authorities would have been sidelined long ago. In short the problem with Africa is cowardice.

So what if other people hold onto other nonsensical beliefs. That doesn't make them right.

There are billions of people who claim Islam and Christianity - that doesn't make either true.
