As a clergy, you have left a bitter taste in the mouth of not only your family but those that believes in the teaching of the Holy Bible. Why take a life you can't create? For those contemplating suicide at the moment, just remember that WHATEVER CANNOT BE CURED MUST BE ENDURED. RIP It's his life. No one has to endure anything. That's the foolish mindset of a beast without brains. |

Kathmandu: When there is ORO in Lagos everyone respects the traditional customs by not walking around at night and obeying their instructions but I'm surprised that the Muslims had to break the customs of the land because of Islam.
Traditional worship has been there before the advent of Islam in Ekiti land In a free society people should be able to move around as they need/see fit. And going into someone's private place of business/worship to attack them is criminal. I don't like religion or religious fanatics, whether that be Muslim, Christian or the traditional religions. All are wrong. |

Ask urself Why do they want to do it? Is it dat d level of education in d south is not satisfactory or is because we need to stoop so low in order to draw d northerners who dont want to be educated. A system needs to be changed wen it doesnt work and as long as i know in d south d educational system is improving with speed. It isn't just northerners. There are people in rural areas in the south who would benefit from this. And even if it was north specific is it not better that they be educated than remain ignorant? |

You don't dictate anything. A small group of northerners control the north and hold it back. Rather than confront that criminal elite you choose to attack southerners on the internet. And it doesn't matter how many presidents that the north produces the situation will remain the same until the northern masses deal with the evil that is the traditional, religious and political leaders who have failed to do anything to bring forth development. |

I said it before no southerner will ever send his kid to a school where he will be taught in local language. Wat Rubbish They still have English language and literature classes. You're jumping to conclusions and getting very upset over something that is a good idea if we're serious about getting rid of some of the ignorance in our society. I can see the issues long term with such a program but I do understand the need to ensure that people get real knowledge from an early age in a language that they are comfortable with, while they also learn the lingua franca of the country. |

Which school in d South will accept dat Rubbish wen children at d age of 3 can flow fluently in English. Its a disgrace our educational system would have to descend so low all because we are in d same country will northerners who have vowed to remain illiterates. Other countries are looking for ways to further develop the standards of their educational system we are going back to square one. RUBBISH The issue with the north isn't the language it's the fact that many of the children aren't in school. Anyway, the minister claims that similar schemes have worked in India and China. I don't think it's the worst plan in the world. If the goal is to ensure that people relate to the subject matter then it makes sense to teach it in their native language. |

zabuur: You are right my brother. Since you are so sensible with your reasoning, plz how does this make sense as well? The one you worship or is it the son of the one you worship has to crucified by mere creatures created by the one you worship so as to wash away sins. Now, I'm confused. Who determines whether something is sinful or not? Who has the final judgement? Who determines who go to hell or paradise? I'm sure you must have answered all those in silence. Then, if who you are thinking is what I'm thinking, why should he then sacrifice his only son to wash away the sins he has control of.

Security and the fight against corruption can then be added unto it. He's a total failure. The only thing he has going for him is the fight against Boko Haram and he was complicit in their growth by advocating for dialogue over military intervention (a war on Boko Haram is a war on the north). The economy is the worst it has ever been. There are other security challenges that his administration have ignored - namely the destructive Fulani herdsmen. |

Destined2win: Building collapse is trying to become a norm in Lagos.
Even though there isn't justifiable reasons for this but again if you endeavour to get a competent builder, alaye and omonile will not allow someone to build in peace.
You carry sand and gravel to site....Owodah You start digging foundation. ......Owodah You start adding blocks..... Owodah You do first decking.......Owodah Owodah continues until people start packing in.
You see unnecessary number of people including matured mums working to complete a building that should probably take 3 days in one day forgetting cement needs sometime to set properly. For all the good that Ambode is doing they really need to deal with these 'traditional landlords' who add no value to the society. |
