Family › Re: Nigerian Parents Are The Bane Of Growth And Development In This Country. by mmsen: 3:22pm On May 11, 2017
@Trudax - you didn't tell a single lie. Everything you wrote is what I've been saying since I was 16.

People cannot keep crying about 'leaders' but not want to address the issues within the millions of households.

We must embrace better modes of raising children and those of us with insight must impress the ideas on those who are not inclined to reason.

We can't keep crying about the state of affairs when we can see the problems and the solutions.

First and foremost is family planning. A fool cannot miseducate a child that they do not have.
Christianity Etc › Why Would An African Convert/remain A Muslim When The Quran Says The Following? by mmsen(op): 3:14pm On May 11, 2017
Ishaq:243 "I heard the Apostle say: 'Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!' He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks.... Allah sent down concerning him: 'To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom." [9:61] "Gabriel came to Muhammad and said, 'If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey's.'"

Ishaq:144 "A rock was put on a slave's chest. When Abu Bakr complained, they said, 'You are the one who corrupted him, so save him from his plight.' I will do so,' said Bakr. 'I have a black slave, tougher and stronger than Bilal, who is a heathen. I will exchange him. The transaction was carried out."

Qur'an 9:97 "The Arabs of the desert are the worst in unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger."

Tabari II:11 "Shem, the son of Noah was the father of the Arabs, the Persians, and the Greeks; Ham was the father of the Black Africans; and
Japheth was the father of the Turks and of Gog and Magog who were cousins of the Turks. Noah prayed that the prophets and apostles would be descended from Shem and kings would be from Japheth. He prayed that the African's color would change so that their descendants would be slaves to the Arabs and Turks."

Tabari II:21 "Ham [Africans] begat all those who are black and curly-haired, while Japheth [Turks] begat all those who are full-faced with small eyes, and Shem [Arabs] begat everyone who is handsome of face with beautiful hair. Noah prayed that the hair of Ham's descendants would not grow beyond their ears, and that whenever his descendants met Shem's, the latter would enslave them."

Tabari IX:69 "Arabs are the most noble people in lineage, the most prominent, and the best in deeds. We were the first to respond to the call of the Prophet. We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will fight him forever in Allah's Cause. Killing him is a small matter to us."

Bukhari: V9B89N256 "Allah's Apostle said, 'You should listen to and obey your ruler even if he is a black African slave whose head looks like a raisin.'"

Ishaq:450 "It is your folly to fight the Apostle, for Allah's army is bound to disgrace you. We brought them to the pit. Hell was their meeting place. We collected them there, black slaves, men of no descent."

Ishaq:374 "The black troops and slaves of the Meccans cried out and the Muslims replied, 'Allah destroy your sight, you impious rascals.'"

Bukhari:V4B52N137 "The Prophet said, 'Let the negro slave of Dinar perish. And if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him.... If he [the black slave] asks for anything it shall not be granted, and if he needs intercession [to get into paradise], his intercession will be denied.'"

What is your reason for defending a book that has the above to say about you and yours?

OP, you forgot about Sudan and Mauritania that still practice slavery till this day.

Also that official date for Saudi Arabia is a lie, they still have slaves in the 1960s.

true but Christianity has this superiority complex
And Islam and Judaism do not?

The Jews call themselves the chosen people.

Islam justifies taxing non-Muslims for not being Muslims. Justifies enslaving, raping and killing people who are not Muslims.

How is that any different from how xtians feel?

I'm sure some of them must have had the foresight to take shares in NB.

Rather we are selling our companies like Sona Brewery, Life Brewery and Consolidated Brewery to foreign owned Nigeria Brewery
Heineken have been in operation longer and have a global presence, therefore greater access to capital and deeper pockets.

It would take some form of legislation as well as fiscal reform before the smaller indigenous breweries would be able to really compete.

It's not entirely their fault that they are having to sell. Smaller companies are usually absorbed by the big fish, that's how the big fish stay big and eliminate the competition.

Just knowing that today, but that doesn't justify the monopolization of the top management positions by Europeans against the interest of Nigerians.
They are the largest single shareholders and they're the ones with the technical expertise.

Besides, their primary function is to make money.

I don't think we should attack them but rather question Nigerians who refuse to put their money/intelligence to good use to build viable competition.

He isn't fulfilling his duties.

He has been useless since he entered office and has been a drain on public resources on account of his ill health and general incompetence.

Let him go and retire.

Amosun can not be like Ambide because the financial realities and revenue in Lagos and. ogun are not the same..

The budget un Lagos is almost 3 to 4 times larger than the budget in Ogun.

By Ogun standard, Amosun didn't do too bad.

And by Lagos standard and available resources, Ambode is performing poorly and below average. Unlike his predecessors, he doesn't have any ground breaking projects or anything futuristic. After 2 years, he's yet to go beyond roads and over head bridge.
You may be right but a lot of the business that is being sited in Lagos could be in Ogun state if they made the place more attractive to business - that would increase the tax revenue.

If Nigerians will not hold themselves to account then the people abroad in the nations that you idiots love to run to will do so.

Get your own collective affairs in order and you won't need to run to Denmark to play in their rubbish league.

Nigeria has enough people who love football to maintain a viable league.

Ensure that it is run well by calling out people when they do things that are destructive for the collective, that includes age-cheats.

When that happens you'll see the Nigerian league explode just as the business of religion has grown and thrived despite it being based on BS.
