amtaken:The best roads in Nigeria are in AKS and Abuja. Calabar has good roads too but CRS as a whole is much like the rest of the country. |
OP, why did you post a picture of a foreign road to make your dishonest point? Why not post a picture of these wonderful northern 'highway's if they are so great? |
A significant percentage (the majority) of those who took up the 'right to return' are the descendants of Eastern European converts. |
SamuelAnyawu:You forget that he was dashing government land to his relatives? |
CRS getting things right, as per usual. Amaechi, see your life. |
BraniacX:The best known brands/models are the ones with mass market appeal such as the VW beetle, VW bug, The Mini. The goal is usually to sell a lot of vehicles for a lower profit margin rather than to aim for the higher end where the profit margins are greater but the risk of failure is also increased because the potential market is significantly smaller. Today, we hear that Tesla Motors are looking to create more affordable vehicles so as to increase their market share. In order to be viable long term, in the post subsidy era, they will have to. Otherwise they will go the way of Fisker Automotive. P.S. For everyone pointing to the Moroccan car 'manufacturer' on that list - they've made three concept cars in almost 20 years. They are yet to mass manufacture anything. The South African company makes replicas (in very small numbers) of touring/racing cars. |
princemillla:Casablanca is Morocco's largest city. |
fart:They haven't sold a single car. They've made three concept vehicles in 17 years and haven't done anything in the past three years - nothing has gone to production level. |
HardMirror:https://i.imgur.com/fDPbeJ3.png They claim to have been in business for 17 years but only now thought to build a website? Not a single tweet either. Which viable business doesn't have an online presence in the 21st century? From what I've been able to find out they've never made a production vehicle - only three concept cars, the last of which was unveiled three years ago. Dubious. As opposed to Innoson - active on Facebook, twitter, a fully functioning website and physical stock. https://i.imgur.com/u7EnxgW.png |
emekamigo:Innoson has the widest range and the biggest in sales. Also, they have a financing arrangement with banks. They're all seem to be doing great things, besides Innoson I think the electric/solar bus by the Ugandan company is a wonderful innovation. I hope they get the funding to market and manufacture it properly. The Moroccan company doesn't even have a website - they seem dubious. |
Category1:You said that they built 'illegally' and the article describes the homes as 'shanties' - that is the problem, they intentionally broke the law. They're lucky that they got away with it this long. All these squatters and useless agberos in Lagos stand in the way of its potential as a great city. |
And then when there's an explosion and the people die as a result idiots will be screaming about 'government'. |
Whenever someone attached to this administration says something that might sound like good news, just wait three days and they will claim that their words were misinterpreted or misunderstood. |
Who is this man to talk to anyone about the standard of education? We know the problems - what is this fraudster doing to solve the issues he keeps reminding us of? |
That looks like a very poor quality road. |
Ebonyi is a northern state in disguise. |
Fiscal federalism. |
NavierStokes:Ghana may have made progress but Nigeria now (or at least as it was in 2014) is significantly better than it was in the 90s. IMF guidelines do not always work - their allegiance is always to the lenders over the borrowers hence why nations like Brazil, South Korea, Thailand and Russia were all made worse off after dealing with the IMF. |
Dollyak:No one hands out freebies - even the African Development Bank expects its money back after a while. The catch with 'development loans' is that they have to be spent as prescribed as often times that money is spent purchasing from businesses within the lenders own country. It's subsidy by another name. |
Those 'white models' are very unattractive. And why highlight 'white models' like it has any meaning? |
SageTravels:Roads in AKS are generally very good. And at least within Calabar the roads are good - outside of the Calabar might be something else. |
maupe:Which money do they think that these children are spending? The money that they earn from going to school? Or the funds that have been 'acquired' whilst their parents were/are public servants? |
All of you who insist on eating beef are contributing to this nonsense. |
Why are children being taught this nonsense in the first place? If religion is a 'personal choice' as so many people claim it to be then it shouldn't be forced on any child, anywhere. |
Where do they find all these useless people for these protests? I have no love for PDP or APC but I do find it funny how whichever side you speak of they both have people protesting against due process being followed. If there is a case to answer let the person in question answer it. |
dallyemmy:That would be a lot easier if fiscal federalism became the national policy. |
Where is the evidence that her parents are wealthy? |
MosakuAW:Now they're bribed by state governments. They are a core sector in the corrupt political establishment. If Nigeria wants to heal itself it must rid itself of military leaders posing as statesmen and democrats and traditional monarchs who do nothing but cause traffic jams and waste state funds on bleach and ashawos. |
Akshow:A condom vending machine would prove to be very useless for all the unfortunate little boys getting done in the Vatican. |
PayPal is useless and if you knew how terrible their security is you'd stop using their services. |
victorD3:What's the difference between a Yahoo boy and a pastor? |
If China said they were to supply the funding/expertise for an establishment in Nigeria I would applaud but all these 'scholarships' are not helpful to the long term well-being of the nation. Continuing to abdicate the responsibility for educating your own is as foolish as foolish can be - all this does is keep Chinese lecturers in a job. Outsourcing jobs, losing revenue. |
