The hate as far as I have seen is only on nairaland. I first saw this on Instagram. And people were defending and trying to comfort her. With only one or 2 goats trying to drag her there. But nairaland and it's imbecilic posters pride themselves on how disgusting and misogynistic they can be. This forum is seriously pathetic.

It's the typical case on nairaland, on Nairaland, in A Man verses a woman issue, No matter how right the woman is, Nairaland misogynistic idiots will always judge her to be wrong and then proceed to bash her.
I'm not surprised with what I'm seeing.

She is complaining that she is the only one playing both roles ( a mom and a dad) in the child's life and she is damn right to complain. She shouldn't be the only parent raising the child.
How can a man and a woman play their roles in making a baby, the father gives sperm. The mom gives her eggs and carries the child, Yet when the baby is here only one person ( the woman) is taking care of the child?
If a baby father can go raw then he can step the fùck up and take care of his child. That's all she wants. And she isn't wrong for asking of that.

There is nothing cute about an absentee dad.
exactly, she is not asking him to marry her. She is asking him to be a father to his offspring. It is his obligation. if he didnt want it, he should have used a condom. so much hate for her because she is a woman and Whizkid is a celebrity

Exactly women are the cause of it all..
We have women all over the world yet Naija youths carry them for head lol

No worries ... they wont like your comment .. the truth is bitter and beside they r too immature to get constructive criticism...
same way for the ladies. sometimes you feel you have wronged half of the world by being a man. You are blamed for every oppression a woman suffers.

True words bro. At a time I concluded I would just have a baby mama and move on to enjoy my life not until Nairaland gave me this wonderful soul.
Compliments me in all areas.

Now I know people will say I am being too religious about this but I tried this method and it worked for me

I Prayed and asked God for a perfect Woman in my life.

And Nairaland was the last place I could ever imagine to find such person but now I'm like wow that means most of these NL girls forming feminist are actually nice people in real life.
The average woman is a very emotional and subjective being. The feminism rants you see are an emotional response to stimulus (their experiences or those they have heard about men oppressing women). Meanwhile, she could have a nice, warm selfless personality.

someone finishes the PHD from a university calls himself a doctor as he has finished his doctorate degree..the world has come to accept this terms but they are all borrowed words from medicine so also is the word consultant.
you are the ignorant one my friend.

the word Doctor as opposed to Physician did not originate from Medicine. It simply means "teacher" and has been used for ages.

Thanks for your civil response, says a lot about your profession. Back to the matter, every medical professional in a hospital feels they have a right to advance their career to the position of a medical director someday which is very debatable. However, this dichotomy has been there for a very long time and not just restricted to Nigeria alone. Medical doctors have always come out on top as far as this battle is concerned, can you tell me why?
it makes sense that a non-physician cannot be a medical director except the role is mostly administrative.

My office has a CMD for all the clinics, while each clinic has a clinic admin in addition to 3 doctors.

the doctors report professionally to the CMD while they report administratively to the clinic Admin. The previous clinic admin wasnt even a health professional sef

the fault with this is that a laboratory scientist cannot make a diagnosis (trust me there are serious conditions that require the expertise of a doctor to diagnose ) a lab scientist is not trained enough to make diagnosis ...same for a radiographer etc.. for example optometrist own stores everywhere where they claim to treat eye conditions, but unfortunately, they can only cut you glass for refractive errors . They direct the patient tto go meet the ophthalmologist . There is no need duplicating profession. As it is everwhere in the world, if you want to make diagnosis, lead a department o hospital, go to the university, study medicine and surgery as same goes everywhere in the world, nigeria will not be different.
In my office, we always see Optometrists for treatment of eye infections, diagnosing eye ailments and prescribing glasses. We have never had need for surgery so never been referred to an ophthalmologist.

Your term "cut you glass" for refractive errors has a derogatory undertone.

I no be doctor. Non of my family members are doctors. In fact some of them are johesu members. But I agree fully with the doctors on this. RELATIVITY IS SACROSANCT.

If u wanna be treated like a doctor, then just go and become a doctor!! Make we just stop all this ego and arm twisting. That is what is taking us backwards in this country.

Aa a chartered accountant and a masters degree holder with over a decade professional experience, I will find it very annoying if someone who has a mere B.sc accounting plus few years experience is placed on the same level and salary scale as myself in an office. The same situation applies here
they do not start at the same grad. It takes others about 10 years to get to entry level physician grade. they are not asking to start at the same grade. they were asking for salary increase.

My dear, a pharmacist knows less than 1/1000 of what a doctor knows.
when doctors are discussing medicine a pharmacist will comprehend far less than one tenth(1/10) of what is discussed that is if he will understand it at all. The gap of knowledge between a doctor & a pharmacist is immeasurable.
maybe because the phamarcist doesnt need that knowledge. And I am very sure the doctor would know less about the chemical composition and manufacturing processes around the drugs themselves.

NMA & JOHESU need to cooperate without the pride on the NMA side and envy/bitterness on the JOHESU side.

It's already that way dude. Moreover a nurse cannot be specialist in Oncology, she makes no single decision the specialist does. Even if she has spent 20years, a Senior registrar who has spent 3 yrs in oncology should earn more. A Doctor trumps every other person in the hospital, the hospital was built for him and patients troop in to see him. All other thrashy workers should do his bidding or resign. If they want to be doctors they should have passed Jamb. 90% of Lab scientist filled in Medicine at one time or the other for God sake, so also 98% of male BSC Nurses, the non graduate nurses went to nursing school because they were too dumb to pass Jamb, today they want to be on the same salary scale as Doctor. Pure stupidity!
your post started well by reflecting the natural law that compensation shold be proportanl to accountability. He who makes decisions and is accountable for the impact of the decision should earn more than he who executes. Thats why managers earn more.

However, the end of your post took the typical cocky and insulting approach. you call your colleagues "thrashy", insinuate that they were not intelligent enough to go to study medicine (or go to university at all).

Because some of us refuse to be cowered by your lack of tact and sensitivity doesn't make us worse than the rest of you.

I can't see anywhere in this thread where you've admonished your brothers to stop their attacks despite the fact that they started it.

But on this issue, reading this release and knowing that the motives of the Senate is based on the criminal allegations against Melaye,a known thug and society deviant,I concur with IGP Idris 100%,and endorse his refusal to personally address the Senate.
The damn senators can go to hell and kiss his as s because he is legally covered!
Aside the legal backing Idris cited for his actions, the Saraki led senate serially encouraged Melaye as he severally and criminally refused to honour several invites extended to him to answer some questions on a grievous criminal matter!

schooled Mynd44 (a supposed Yoruba boy)

The anti-Yoruba rhetoric on Nairaland is shamefully high. I am often banned and my comments are deleted whenever I reply the Aba Jews in kind. Yet their slurs would be left to stand.

I wish Seun can carefully vet those in his employ. Mynd44 is often unbiased to be honest, but there's one of them that definitely pro-IPOB and anti-Yoruba....he never even hides it.

Mynd44...go and sin no more. Your comment lacked substance. AND DON'T DELETE THE POSTS SCHOOLING YOU....Those guys did a good job. It's your own post that should be hidden because it's misleading and contributes nothing meaningful
the anti-igbo rhetoric is worse. Those "your heroes" who "schooled" Mynd44 are examples of tribal bigots themselves.
