There really is no point to this thread |
Thinking about it, that part made me laff, who is in-charge of this place, police come and take him out. Ojo is a bloody fool, and I think more reporters should be even more agressive to him. |
Naija Swag, I am with you. The idiot had it easy. Was it not the Prime minister of Italy that got it on his face for alleged sexual misconduct. Ojo is lucky that is was a few mildly hash was, he was lucky that rotten tomato no follow. They have been abusing us for far too long. |
The minister had it coming. He had a poor showing on bbc hardtalk and even worse on the UN press conference. Thank God for the internet, his reaction would have been covered up in Nigeria and he would have gotten away with murder, now he has been exposed for the crap which he is. Let him step down, he is not fit for that office. |
The general has let everyone down this time around. He has not spoken since this crisis started. Tells you the sort of person he is |
Na small small. People need to talk where dey pain them. We may not change anything now, but we have 1 yr to the next election, that would be avery good opportunity for all Nigerians (for change) to speak with one voice. I hear Warri had thiers yesterday |
@Black_revo, the questioning might have been agressive, but what do you expect. Nigerians have had enough, and it is time those in power start facing hash challenges and firey questioning from our people. Nigerians have given them an easy fucking ride for such a long time. In my opinion the questioning should have been a lot more agressive, let the idiot know that it is not going to be business as usual especially when he travels abroad. No more safe haven for corrupt leaders. Does he think Nigerians should remain scared of him because he is a minister, a failing minister that is not up to the job, how can he threaten people on air. The guy is just unbelieveable. My brothers the only way we can change things is to challenge the people that lead us especially when the do or say nonsense |
For those who think Nigerians i diaspora have not part to play, please watch Ojo Maduekwe making a real dogs balls of himself. This idiot should be sacked, he is an absolute disgrace as a minister of rubbish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFXsoMbVAE |
I have always argued that what we need is true leadership, not all this clamouring for separate states, and we must all be prepared to tell ourselves the truth. |
@ ochukoccna, My point is that they have exposed themselves for who they really are. If they cared for Nigerians like they claim they do, I mean Buhari, this is a golden opportunity to show his support, and come out and critisize the government, this is what opposition parties do. He has really exposed himself this time, all that his shouting during the last election lacked sincerity, at least we know who not to support next election. We must really fight to get the electoral reforms in place before the next election and we must all register to vote, my people we must all register to vote and defend our vote. The ruling party has finished us. |
A big Gbosa to everyone that supported or attended this march. God is alive. We are all marching in the right direction. I am a bit disappointed that non of the opposition leaders where in attendance. Where is Buhari? he was shouting foul during the last election, even Atiku no show. Opposition leaders are known to challenge the ruling party when things are not going right, but I Nigeria, they choose to keep quiet. And during they want us to vote for them |
The guy is useless, absolute nonsense, just like anything in gorvenment. We are really in serious trouble in Nigeria, if all we can muster as a country is that trash then we really are in deep trouble |
@ Ndu chuks, I share your view, that what we dont need now is a break-up especially with the current state of the country. However you need a very good a progressive leader, who can work through all the problems without fear and provide and all encompassing solution. And the truth is that the current leadership lacks what it takes. You do have countries like the UK, that we can learn from. In the UK they have the Welsh Assembly, The Northern Ireland Assembly and the Scottish Assembly. They more or less gorven thenselves, with thier own laws, but at some stage still comeback to central gorvenment. That will work so well in Nigeria. There is so much that cam be done to foster unity in our country, but I doubt the current gorvenment (leader less), has the will, strength and direction to do it. |
OK, the way it should work is if a government is not performing, like the current one isnt, opposition parties and leaders put them in check. Where are all the oppositon leaders that cried foul during the last election. I have been expecting the likes of Buhari, Atiku, etc to start complaining, but we have not heard anything from either and other opposition leaders. Is this not the right time to speak up, after all that is how it is done in other democratic societies that we choose to emulate. This is really their oppotunity ti shine and convince people why this government has failed and we should support them @ the next election. I may be wrong, but I dont thinks they are doing thier job as opposition leaders. |
@JNdupu, You trully underestimate the true cause of all the wahala. Yes poverty might be part of it, but to suggest that other forces being involved is bogeyman theory, shows your simplistic approach. This whole problem much be solved peacfully, but there are very big questions to be asked. |
@Katsumoto, Please dont make any apologies to Wrex. He was shouting on here, how people who make effort in what ever small way are cowards. He complains that his country is not good, but yes he wants someone else, that is you and I to take the bullet for him. Well my honest opinion is that the young man is not fit to be called Nigerian. If you are not prepared to do the smallest thing for your country. What happened to all the cowards that marched Abuja, UK, and those that will march Lagos peacefully. God Bless Nigeria, and those who are prepared to speak up for the truth |
@Wrex, No problem. I think you have just confirmed the sort of person you are to all Nigerians, and I am going to stop taking you seriously. You were the same guy who shouted on this thread, that you did not see the point in protesting outside Nigeria, Now you have a chance to be part of history, and you chicken out. You were shouting here, calling those who took part cowards, your time has come, step up to the plate and be counted, unless you are confirming our suspicion that you are a paid gorvenment official, trying to spoil things for us. Dem don give you money abi? |
@Wrex, no laffing matter. Your time to shine has come Oya, we dey wait you, because if you no join this one your credibility don finish. It was easy to stand at the other side of the fence and critisize, Go and join them and please take foto |
Yes I did, and proudly so. So oya, there is one in Lagos on Thursday, so you have a chance to redeem yourself as I know you will. |
Well done Pharoh. For those who have been iching to get involved, here is an opportunity. Everyone who can should support this effort, there is nothing wrong in saying you are tired with the way your country is run. |
@ Wrex, Did you join the Abuja protest? Please answer candidly. If the answer is yes, then well done, but if no. You do not qualify to critisize other peoples efforts, either you put up or shut up. |
@ElRazur, I fail to get your point. There is nothing wrong in helping Haiti, while looking after our own, it is all part of foreign policy, that is if we have one. |
My broda, I have been preaching this for so long. We need to take the destiny of our country into our hands. Every Nigerian must get involved in building a successful nation. I still cannot understand why after almost 50yrs, we are still wondering around like lost sheep. |
This is why we need a good gorvenment. Nigeria is froth with all sorts of injustice. Why must people be terrorised because of their religion or the part of the country they come from? |
Thanks Katsumoto and Blacksta for stressing the point, but I guess it still remains choice if one wants to get involved. It is not surprising then that Nigeria had remained the way it is cos, cos most of us dont find it necessary to get involved. We are waiting for someone else to fix Nigeria for us. Please often forgetting that nation building is an everyone excersize. like I have often said, it is so easy to sit back do nothing and then see nothing good in what others have done. |
If the good Pastor feels so strong about the cause, then I dont see why not. Please let us not digress from the main issue, which remains that Nigeria is a very sick nation and needs all our help, no matter what. |
@Otawa and @Darkman, I really wonder what you guys have contributed to this effort. There is nothing wrong in expressing your displeasure at a non-functional gorvenment where ever you are, at least it is far more than either of you have done. I doubt if either of you where in Abuja. The thing is, if you fail to act, you lose every right to critisize those who have tried, no matter if you disapprove of their approach. What you guys are doing is nothing new in Nigeria, in fact it is what has plagued our country for so long, people sitting back doing nothing and bad mouthing those who try. God Bless Nigeria |
Aisha2, this is a very noble cause. Please how can I help? |
Blacksta, well said. I couldnt have put it any better. I really cannot understand what some people want. They complain about the country, but do very little to progress things further. Like you said, it takes a comminted few to change things. Those who have been complaining are just being true to the typical stereotype that we are too laid back and uncomminted to change. Stop complaining, get off your backside and do something for you country. It is always the usual excuses 1: My vote wont count 2: I dont see how what you guys are doing will change things 3: What is the point of protesting in a foreign land |
Well done to everyone that took part in the peaceful march. It is the very least Nigeria as a country can ask from us. It is very strange that people will complain about the state of Nigeria, but will do little to progress things further, rather sit on sites and critisize other peoples efforts. Get up and do something for your country. Once again well done, change starts from little steps. God Bless Nigeria |
We all have an opportunity to contribute to a progressive Nigeria, please everyone, do your own little bit |
Thanks, it is the very least the Old lady expects from us. Please let us be united in an effort to heal her. Nigeria has the potential to be a great nation for her citizens, if only we care. |
