On my way out of the compound gate, I saw something strange. I saw pieces of akara (bean-cake) round the whole house to the entrance of the gate. It was deliberately placed there. And one piece of akara was placed at the gate entrance, forming a large circle.

I was scared to move through the gate, so I went back and told her what I just saw. She laughed and told me that since their new "Cele" neighbor came to the compound, that's what they have been seeing, though not regularly.

I'd like to know the implication of walking over the "sacrifice", if you have experienced such. Do you advise she leaves the house ASAP??

There is a certain food I don't really like much, but I began to like it this year because I'm tired of garri (my favorite), rice, yam, and others.

I put some cups of beans in water, but lost the motivation to cook it. After approximately two days in water (I changed the water 3 times), I decided to cook it thinking the softness will make it boil faster since it mostly takes me 2 hours to cook my 2 and half or 3 cups of beans on electric stove.

Guess what? Since yesterday, e never boil. It's more than 12 hours on fire now, but it keeps getting harder. I'm even using the bigger size of the stove. Every passing hour, it gets harder. I used gas, yet same thing. I finally brought it down. I no do again.

I want to dispose it, but a thought came to me to blend it. The beans self don turn brown after suffering hours on fire since yesterday.

Should I dispose it or what can I do with a blended beans?

My sister has separated from her husband because for 16yrs of marriage,she has gone through depression.

From the very day of their traditional marriage, after few days he told her he won't wed her and because of that she started nursing bad feelings about her husband.

He is so lazy that he believe that he can't kill himself to feed his family.

As God will have it she was progressing in her place of work and was running the family with 3 children successfully, with time the husband became jealous of her and because he has an I don't care attitude towards her, she made sure the husband has no access to the money she is marking, rather she was building houses in her husband village and a duplex some where in Lagos.

At a stage the husband told her he will kill her. Mind you she is the one paying the house rent they are living, school Fee's of children, medical and feeding

When she discover that the husband is displaying more of his wicked act because they have issues almost every day, he told her that he will frustrate her.

Finally she organized some boys and they came and drove the husband away from their house.
Since then she is no longer depressed and also stop falling sick.
Pls house what advice do you have for her.

Considering the Economic issues bedeviling the country at this point in time when having what to eat is a Miracle, if your phone gets lost, How Long do you think it will take you to get a new one for yourself? I think at such time, many people tend to know how rich or poor a person is.
I mean replacing the phone with the exact one that was lost or even a bigger one, not a smaller one Please.
I can tell you that, more than 50%, if not more of the phones ladies have today were gifted them by their boyfriends and Husbands. When a man's phone gets lost, he buys a replacement for himself, when a woman's phone gets lost, the husband or boyfriend buys her a new one.
