I thought the CBN was paying directly to the organizations the manufacturers or the importers buy from. Doing otherwise does not make sense. It would actually encourage round tripping!

Don't mind them. Is stopping cars on the roads to ask for vehicle particulars part of their job? Are they not supposed to be on the Federal highways like Lagos-Ibadan, Ore-Benin, Kaduna-Abuja etc to attend to possible breakdowns and accidents and direct traffic in gridlocks? You will see them on road corners in the cities,stopping moving cars just to extort money. They are part of Babangida's bad legacies!!

I really don't know why Governor Ambode's administration is sooo soft on this Okada menace. Go to 2nd Rainbow bus stop on Oshodi-Apapa Express road and see how Okada men operate. Shopping in Balogun, Idumota, CMS, Tinubu Square etc is now a nightmare because of Okada. Why is Ambode afraid of enforcing the law restricting Okada? Is it because of 2nd Term?

I have to agree with you. It is not only Niger Deltans that would stone Jonathan. South Westerners should do same to Obasanjo who spent 8 years as President of Nigeria and did nothing to develop his region of origin. He concentrated on developing the North because he wanted a third term but he did not realise that the Northerners were merely tolerating him.
