APCmyheart: Exactly my point, Even those trader should not be handed the cash if possible, The Bank should be able to help them pay to where ever they are buying from and see BDC collapse and started selling at a price not more than #1-2 difference. I thought the CBN was paying directly to the organizations the manufacturers or the importers buy from. Doing otherwise does not make sense. It would actually encourage round tripping! |

onatisi: The Nigeria economy needs an average of 2billion dolllars every day to cater to it fx deals, for you to make sure that the money makes enough impact u will need to to sustain it for 2,to 4 weeks . And I know that many bankers will fault my estimations of 2billion dollars daily as grossly under estimated because even fuel importers alone can take half of this ,multiply 2billion dollars daily by 15,days . Then you willl see how I arrive at 30 billion That means Nigeria's greatest problem is Fuel Importation! What a pity! |

Are they not supposed to be on the Federal highways like Lagos-Ibadan, Ore-Benin, Kaduna-Abuja etc to attend to possible breakdowns and accidents and direct traffic in gridlocks? You will see them on road corners in the cities, stopping moving cars just to extort money. They are part of Babangida's bad legacies!! |

They must be really saying something that is causing doubt for you and getting into your skin for you to label this guy as one, when the OP clearly says HARDCORE TRADITIONALIST. Christians also go on the offensive, infact theirs is a daily occurence and much physically worse, from intruding and burning other people's shrine who are minding their business to disturbing the sleep and peace of residents with loud speakers in the name of vigil at 2a.m. You need to know that Muslims mosques disturb the peace and quiet of people even more. What do you call that calling to prayer early in the morning with Loud speakers on roof tops? and it happens EVERYDAY! Christians don't do Vigil everyday. |

Yes we live in ONE NIGERIA, but every leader should strive to elevate his region of origin (common sense) I have to agree with you. It is not only Niger Deltans that would stone Jonathan. South Westerners should do same to Obasanjo who spent 8 years as President of Nigeria and did nothing to develop his region of origin. He concentrated on developing the North because he wanted a third term but he did not realise that the Northerners were merely tolerating him. |

A very reliable source in the Telco industry told me that it was MTN that initiated the data increase because they (MTN) fear losing their subscribers to Glo and Airtel. |

They are available only in few states and they want to compete. How will other People in other states know them if they don't enter such states?
Ntel that came in some months back isn't even serious atall. So who is to blame here? Useless NCC
If the 3 can't compete, they should just bow out. They sure know what they are gonna be facing before they started operations All Smile, Spectranet, Swift etc should have done was to enter the market with quality network at reasonable prices and they would have seen how people will leave the 'Big Networks' and rush to them. It is a business error to want to compete with a higher price. |

My father's favorite pets were cats and I grew up watching him rearing and taking care of them. While living in England, I also saw how white people loved cats. So I never had any reason to believe cats were evil and when you have one cat around, the whole place will be free of Rats.
That was how I suggested to my neighbors (in Lagos) that we should get a cat when big rats were all over our compound. You need to see the way the women looked at me and I couldn't help shaking my head at their total ignorance and foolishness.
But let me quickly correct the OP that was emphasing Christians as the only people that believe cats are demons. Superstition, suspicion, ignorance and paranoia thrive in Nigeria and Africa generally because of low level of development in Education and Civilisation. |

Phones › Re: Things You Probably Never Knew Your Mobile Phone Can Do. .. by murmee: 5:11pm On Nov 12, 2016 |
Stoical: There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. . Your mobile phone canv actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:
- Emergency The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out...
- Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.
- Hidden Battery Power Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.
- ATM - PIN Number Reversal - Good to Know If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your PIN # in reverse. For example, if your pin number is 1234, then you would put in 4321. The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location.
- This information was recently broadcast on CTV by Crime Stoppers however it is seldom used because people just don ' t know about ... (copied)MODs I hope this is the right section for this information? If what you have posted about the ATM PIN is correct, why are bank customers not informed about it by the banks? |
