Whilst JB, like every other company has a careers page, this topic is misleading. JB has not announced that they are currently recruiting or calling people to apply as the title of the topic seems to say. Bloggers too, desist! |
What voids all these permutations and combinations is one thing - % of total registered voters who come out to vote on election day. Seeing this at a 100% in this topic makes it a no-brainer! A 100% PVC collection can never translate to everyone turning out. We only know today, no one knows tomorrow - even death (constant k) and other natural cum psychological/logistical events will make 100% impossible. |
bamidele029:Seriously, I bother not about the FP but the quality of info or rumor that gain the FP is disappointing. Seun! |
Jorussia:FFK says/claims his father moved the motion: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/who-actually-moved-motion-for-nigeria-s-independence-/77333/ but this topic has been dealt with previously: https://www.nairaland.com/599800/video-footage-aguiyi-ironsi-nzeogwu-sardaunas/39 |
Seeing Fani's father being credited to moving the motion for independence calls for concern on the need to teach Nigerian History across all institutions - from Primary to Tertiary. OMG |
I think more than anything else, Bloggers (who are not journalists or trained in reporting) are the next big problem we have in the media. Op, what does the BSO stand for Did you read what they claim they do: http://buharisupport.org/aboutIt's only logical to see DONATE there especially as an image link on their website. SMH |
chuksydi:I totally agree with this. |
This is how I will describe the picture: Kwankwaso sweeps off Jonathan’s footmarks after Kano campaign visit - April 15, 2014 The governor’s actions on Tuesday are seen as a cultural and political message meant to emphasise his disdain for the president.Source: Premium Times I normally don't have -ishes with the FP thingy but the things that grace the FP these days speak a lot about QUALITY. |
Lol, Picture Of The Serene Biafra Embassy Office In Spain Was it supposed to be violent ![]() |
I do not want to believe FFK said all of these. This is indeed a NEW LOW - he should have come up with a 'better response'. #ValueForMoneyNot |
privatetisa:You need to talk to the relatives of those soldiers posted to these zones, then you'd know that this one una dey do for NL na play play. Those who know where the shoe pinches know who to vote for. In fact, they have more classified information than we read on newspapers or see in the media; they are the ones who see the deceit going on. That strata is one you should not neglect. Have you asked yourself why the government is paying 'nice' attention to the military in terms of motivation - the hosting of the wives of army officers and promotion of soldiers who are fighting BH. Politicking with security agencies (please remember the NPF) is a dangerous game to play because at any point, power can change hands. |
Nigeria, oh Nigeria! A country where pictures speak a million words. I remember how 'NTA News at 9' showed us then our Late UMYA playing badminton. |
enoqueen:Did he "suggest that we should burn our dead bodies" or was a cremation bill was passed into law by LAHA Does the law compel Lagosians to cremate dead bodies? Nigerians be wise:- |
From the use of ridiculous usernames to the domains Seriously Very soon, applicants would be expected to use premium domains.I'd be more concerned about the security/safety of the contents I am sending the potential employee than their domain. As much as we want to be 'paper-psychologists' via a candidate's CV, it is still an unscientific basis to disqualify/judge candidates. Everyone has an idea of the ideal candidate but a summary of the candidate in 2 pages can never present correctly WHO the real candidate is! Abeegggiiii ![]() |
hush15:At least, history has shown that he had similar experience in the past to tackle this a la Maitatsine. Talking about relationship, you heard what he said at Borno yesterday: "Boko Haram ideology contradicts Islamic principles, because Islam does not allow senseless killings of innocent souls. It is unfortunate that innocent persons were being killed in mosques, churches and their houses. God willing, if elected we will restore the confidence in governance.” hush15:The Federal Government is charged with the powers to ensure the safety and welfare of her citizens. Wherever these 'forces' come from, the government is empowered to prosecute all these criminals. After all, UMYA ordered the arrest of then BH leader, Yusuf with the Nigerian Police. All of a sudden, these guys have become ghosts we see today and see not tomorrow. If Buhari is behind BH, let the government deal with him with evidences and not media trials! hush15:GEJ/Buhari's aspirations are not bigger than Nigeria. It is unfortunate that just because of one man, you would want fellow Nigerians to 'continue to destroy themselves'. They are not animals, the people being affected by these are Nigerians like you. War profits no one, neither does division. Need I remind you of the Nigeria's anthem: Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria's call obey To serve our fatherland With love and strength and faith The labour of our heroes past Shall never be in vain To serve with heart and might One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity. Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause Guide our leader’s right Help our youth the truth to know In love and honesty to grow And living just and true Great lofty heights attain To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign. National Pledge: I pledge to Nigeria my Country To be faithful, loyal and honest To serve Nigeria with all my strength To defend her unity And uphold her honour and glory So help me God. |
5pm is as good as postponing the meeting! I like this scenario sha. ¬ The idea of this meeting is a welcome development: this is correct ¬ I have yearned for an opportunity like this to discuss some of the beautiful things we could tweak in my department to push us to more profitability: this is correct ¬ However, my opinion is that we fix it for 5PM (way over the line, are you Morocco?) as I personally would like to bond a little with one of the most important women in my life on that day before coming for the meeting. (Yes, you seem to be in trouble depending on what type of coy this is) NB: Feb 14 is Valentines Day: Share some love with him ![]() |
prindu:If there's anything I always commend GEJ for, it has always been his approach to 'support' free and fair elections - we all remember the OBJ days and how even UMYA had to acknowledge that his 2007 elections were flawed. Whoever you are, I will not engage in responding further; I hardly post on politics ever since the forum became 'politicized' especially in the 2011 elections. Because of my comments, you have decided to 'profile' me and assumed my support or otherwise for any candidate. Unfortunately, it is becoming a sorry tale in Nigeria today; people's comments to you are either APC/PDP. Do not assume that those who read/teach history were always part of it; knowing matters as much as perspectives do. Whilst every Nigerian is free to support whomsoever they choose to, attacking non-issues rather than issues is not an intellectual discourse IMO. Peace! |
Since 2003, GMB has been PDP's greatest fear. If you watch Naija politics closely, you will observe that a lot of propaganda has and will continue to be used against him. In fact, give them another candidate, it'll be a huge relief I tell you. Ironically, never has GMB soared in popularity than this time. This ought to be the easiest election for PDP to win since the incumbent is in power but over and over again, they keep fumbling publicly. It's sad that history has been removed from our schools' curricula because it appears a lot of the youth don't know what a military government is and events that occurred during the past; otherwise, you will see that most of the ads are laughable and distortion of facts. For the enlightened, that'll disgust them and lose the party votes. I'd rather 'mudslinging' with facts than attempts to rewrite events and history. EUROBOMBER:This was the statement Nigerians made in 2011; it also garnered sympathy for GEJ. Again, it is funny that the statement PDP members (Lawal Kaita & co) made then to make the country ungovernable if GEJ won has/had been alluded to GMB; an example of how to repeat a lie till it becomes true. What I observe is that those who want a change are not necessarily doing so because they like the alternative; it's simply because they are just not pleased with this government. If APC per chance gets to power, they'll also feel the heat if they mess up; that's Nigerians for you. Once the tolerance level gets stretched, they act! Like GEJ once told his ministers (and T.Solarin says), "may your road be rough" to the candidates - it's 6 weeks to lose more votes or win more votes. |
izutex007:Come down, let's fight. |
presh2mos:And you have Fayose signing Let's assume that's the theory, Fayose would surely have come out to deny this. |
Omotolu:Jonathan may not be similar to January but Febuhari may be similar to February! ![]() |
The irony here is that PDP plays the religious card a lot and here they are being played by the same! If you keep using sentiments to woo the people, one day, sentiments will clean the wool over their eyes. |
“Jonathan is surrounded by very greedy people who are only inThis excuse is becoming trite. It has been used for every civilian government since 1999. They keep saying the people working with our presidents are bringing him down - our presidents should be able to pick not sycophants to work with. After all, that's a pointer to competence. Meanwhile, Asari is already drafting an AGIP plan with such statements if true. ![]() |
pcicero:If I was to buy this argument, then Jonah is swimming with what? Dinning with the Sharks themselves - because, there are too many fishes in the water, the fellow sharks have prevented him from drafting an anti-corruption plan as he admitted last week. Let's assume we have to make a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea, c'mon we're already in the red sea, the devil wearing prada looks more attractive! ![]() |
obayaya:http://www.punchng.com/news/centenary-award-to-abacha-not-unlawful-presidency/ Even Abati's defence statement acknowledges the 'corruption' face the award generated. Nevertheless, I agree with your facts. |
BrosPeter:In 1993, Goodluck Jonathan was appointed Assistant Director (Ecology) of the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission (OMPADEC) in charge of Environmental Protection. OMPADEC is today, NDDC. He served there from 1993 - 1998; Abacha was HOS from 1993 - 1998. Is it wrong to say President Jonathan worked for the government or not? |
BrosPeter:'different'? The same Abacha GEJ honoured? This statement of yours is an acknowledgement of the indictment. |
Like seriously!!! I don't know why I tend to think of the poultry scam issue when OBJ was president.

Oklander:http://www.obaze2014.com/2014/09/25/gov-obiano-bid-muslim-pilgrims-from-anambra-state-safe-journey-250914/ I hear these in the news anyway. Even if it's a politics, but there's an example. ![]() |
ProffT01:Yeah, this is if the company's IT centre has these websites in their red zone. Anyway, if you browse with your modem, this restriction is useless. |
ProffT01:That a system is networked DOES NOT mean you have access to everything an individual does. It's when you grant access or your PC gets hacked that this happens. Even remote desktop access still requires permission unless it happens to be the unauthorized method that wants to be taken. |
I don't concur with point 2. Unless you do not lock your PC when not in use or it is not a laptop (i.e. it is a desktop that remains at the office) or you do not browse in 'privacy', I see no reason why an employee should have access (even by peeping) to your PC. Moreover, you can have folders where you keep such stuffs that are 'confidential' to you or delete the browsing history and cache if you do not want the address to pop out when sharing stuff with your colleague(s). |
