"I can't shout" Perhaps everyone can't be the same but it has happened to me and you just discover there are some things that are not just necessary and you could also determine the course you want your conversation to take. There are somethings I just can't stand and before you start delving into it, I cut you out politely. I have my own way with words sha (mo de le dapada fun e) and the parties involved need to be taken into consideration anyway. |
True, until you start making and sticking to your decisions, you would continue this. I do not expect you ro completely disregard their 'talk' but it is your place to determine whether you want to be controlled or directed. |
There's really nothing you can do about it - women generally like to express themselves and your listening duty indicates your care/concern about her. Basically, if it's some 'non-of-my-business' issues, just tell her plainly the type of discussions you would rather have. For someone you love, you would love to know her better but sometimes, she could just go straight to the point - tell her politely. |
Everything is basically done in moderation - control yourselves whether you are paying exorbitantly for telephone calls or it's free of charge. |
This report is at best a joke. The Lagbaja I know would not wear his mask for such. If you don't know, just like Spiderman, he has a normal life where most peeps do not know he is actually the one that just passed by - that's the easy price he pays for fame. |
hehehe na me go do ova sabi abi. no wahala |
Me has 9 songs. We has 10 songs. Abami has 4 songs. I'll send the link to y'all. |
Leave her alone. She's chosen to be your Dad's friend instead. |
@Adrenaline I suppose seyi's response was to Jarus'. Throughout my professiolnal studies, I never stopped seeing this 'harder exam ' thingy and I seem not to understand why you wanna behave like Pakistanis(they really loff to argue about this). There's always a tendency to assume that the exam you wrote is the hardest and while I support seyi's analysis, a qualification is not the only passport to a successful career, the deal is to make the smartest use of your studies in your career - that's what makes you stand out. @topic CFA |
@leykar LUTH is a federal hospital. If you're aware, health personnel in federal establishments like Igbobi are on strike too - so that's an entirely different matter although health related. |
See people supporting Tinubu! Lmao the guy can easily get these health services abroad like every other politrickian, what about you? |
Do not be ignorant, there are companies that fumigate in Nigeria. Perhaps you've not attempted to search for one. I hate rats with a passion - I can't even imagine those who live with BIG rats otherwise called 'asin'. Rats are very dangerous and you do not treat them with laxity. Block all holes they have their airports in and get the services of a cat even if it's in a cage or simply fumigate. We all know how Lassa fever caused by rats killed many in the North last year. You have to constantly wash your hands so as not to transmit such diseases from hand to mouth. As weird as it may sound, I tell you that playing the 'meow' of a cat can scare rats - maybe I have a talent in meowing like cats but the day I tried it, they did run! The only problem is rats have great sense of smell and just the smell of a act can send them a warning message; so if they smell no cat, they're less likely to get scared. |
@kenny1 just type in ACCA in the search bar and browse the respective topics related to ACCA as your enquiries have been discussed therein. |
Whenever you're mentally prepared for commitment. |
You begin to wonder - are Nigerian companies in the same sector bereft of ideas? All of these started with Zain's W.A Idols and you have the 4 players sponsoring a music talent show. The same with Bank PHb's Intern and banks came up with The Entrepreneur, Dragon's Den et al I have no time for such but I watched the finale and Bez had a nice collabo with the contestant but Tiwa and Whizkid were practically competing with their partners instead of 'showcasing' them. Whatever the case, I think it was nothing extraordinary i.e the show. Goodluck |
@redsun Dimeji Bankole or Kanti Bello are those you like to spend 'hard earned' money on. Nigerians and their sentiments! Moreover, the 'mad man' isn't a senator; he's a House of Reps member. Decode the merits. |
Whether he's showing off or not, the issue is that he MAKES SENSE with his speeches. He has carved a niche for hinself and I doubt he needs your support to make him 'communicate' to you in simple terms. All I know is that he has consistently raised important issues in the NA; his people are returning him always to the seat. So get the message and worry less about the messenger. CONSISTENCY sums his maxim. |
The exisitng lecturer to student ratio is terrible and we still have dearth of unqualified lecturers(not to mention some of our best minds that have sought 'greener pasture'). We're fond of not addressing the roots of our problem and instead offer amnesty like it'll solve the problem itself. |
This is what occurs in numerous Nigerian universities both part time and full time. You are always recommended to add 'x' to the number of years the degree takes. Eventually, the degree becomes a tiring journey you become fed up with and this is why they also tag the next stage (for Undergraduates) 'Now Your Suffering Continues'. the Nigerian educational system is sick and it's 'berra' if you are engaged in another program while in school so you don't just dull yourself o! |
Aunty Dora won't say anything about this. But she's ready to challenge every Nigerian for referring t Nigeria as Naija. She might as well ban 'Naija Sings' because the name ain't good. We value not our human resources and it's evident even in LASG's handling of strikes. |
It's amazing to see how rapid some Nigerians are to criticize the likes of Doctors, ASUU and NLC when they down tools and play the moral watchdog by terming them 'selfish'. Yet, these same people are so docile to hold their elected representatives to account when they purchase one torchlight for 18,000 Naira (the peanut NLC demands) and they begin to chant the "God will help us" slogan. Nonsense |
In this country, except it's you the shoe pinches, then the action makes no sense. These guys gave warnings and ultimatums before going on strike. I bet they did not studu in Medic school to die for another man. Have you also forgotten that Govt officials swore to an oath of office? Or didn't they promise to cater fo our welfare during elections. During the strike, at different fora Fash was adamant that the doctors forget the CONMESS and remember the infrastructure his govt has built in hospitals instead of negotiating with them. It's always difficult for people to look at issues dispassiontely and blame it on Mr. A. If LASG were really serious about protecting lives of people, they wouldn't have called the bluff of Doctors and threaten to sack them ( the same thing sacked Uduaghan of Delta state promised to do). Alot of Nigerian Doctors are 'pure water' in S. ARABIA and we complain of brain drain. Sometimes, the ego of these govt officials allow them to think improperly! Issues must be treated at its mrit instead of playing blame games. |
I'll ask AIT staff about the lead up to this incident. The thing just pass like that. |
It's a psyche thing siena. Once such people are unable to present a reàsonable 'defence', they resort to 'attack' means which deviates from the point in focus. |
Why do 'people' always think popularity translates to votes. This was the same thing we thought about Darey; it's natural to think the supposedly popular person will win w/out doing the right thing. Just restrict the voting to Lagos vs Zimbabwe alone and you'll see who wins even if Uti were Abacha. Taking the show to a political level which 'busYness' permits me no time to see is IDLENESS. Making the non-value adding show popular. . . |
It's kinda weird seeing: "Leave her alone", "Una dey 'jhealous', u na never reach TV", "GEJ still loves her", "bad belle, what have you done to affect Nigerians". . . @topic statements that we should leave her alone et al her all symptons of myopic intellectualism. C'mon, she's done something wrong especially for a so-called NCE holder! What would she be teaching our children? ENGLISH remains this country's LIGUA FRANCA. Therefore, save us the excuse of "no be her mother tongue". Even late Babs Fafunwa who promoted Nigerian languages did not murder English neither did he stop speaking the language just because he's yoruba. Do the right thing and stop the personal attacks. She's better off using the likes of Remi Oyo as PR instead of insulting our sensibilities. |
It was news for me to hear it being banned. A presenter while reporting the ceremony even disclosed he could not pronounce the title on Air. |
The dude said all of you can afford to buy 1000 recharge cards weekly. So he believes if you complain about the price, he has every right to colombi your sisters ![]() |
Waka waka beats them all jo! The use of a foreign language added more flava - and to think that Akon would have done something spectacular sef . waving flag could bore u. |
It's weird it almost BURNT your hand ![]() The data is gone probably because you removed the usb drive 'illegally' from the usb port. |
4llerbuntu:Some organisations regulate the kinda websites their employees can use; these days facebook and other social networking sites top the lists so that work must be done with little distractions. If it's your school's policy to block FB, why not respect it and download somewhere else? If you believe some of these sites are of benefit to your studies, channel this to the authorities. |
It's still rather a man's world. While it's a stigma for a woman to sleep around, it ain'the same for men. It all boils down to one's personality and belief. Truth is, while most of the 'break outs' claim satisfaction from pre or extra marital sex, truth is: some are just spending money they never earned! Guess you know what i mean. This is one reason why sexual infidelity remains a problem - the non virgin male/female lacks patience with their newbie spouse who's knew to the game. In search of satisfaction, the promiscuity emerges and they seek 'satisfaction' with an experienced 'partner'. A man's 'bullet' shouldn't be found on every spot too - that's also a public utility. |
