Would you consider doing a piece on how a woman should live her life so she is not dependent in her kids for emotional support in old age?

I find that women who lived full lives with their husbands, kids, careers/own stuff are less prone to the whole MIL/DIL drama.

They have other stuff to do and they have managed to build emotional reservoirs outside their kids.

You are absolutely correct with that assumption.
Assuming no issues like I'll health, loss of loved ones and the like occur.
But as you get older you start getting dependent on people.

I think they need to understand that their husband's don't divorce their mothers to marry them.

Has this approach not failed already? Ensure you have an income to pay your own rent so you can provide a steady accommodation for you and your child. Start thinking about your child's future. School? What are your plans in this regard?

Your aunt has been very kind to allow you to come and go with your child as you please. She may be rough around the edges but she does have a goood heart. You even trust her enough to leave your child with her and relocate. For the sake of your child, stick it out there a little longer while she still has the will to accommodate you. What's wrong with changing his opinion.
That's the essence of life.. We mature, we get wiser, we make changes.

I had this friend over the years I was always there for her when she needed me! Always helped out at all events, death! Weddings financiall and with all other efforts.

Even a big bed brings distance to a marriage. Sometime two years ago I noticed that as we were getting older and from the daily stress we would just flop into bed and sleep on the 2m x2m bed. Without telling my husband I ordered a much smaller bed 1,4m.

Marriage takes somentolerance and sacrifice.

We wome often get adviced against providing for a man because often men abandon women when they feel they have made it in life.

Unfortunately sometimes you just don't know where to help. If it is genuine.
So much fraud these days and also people out there trying to exploit.
When this corona started I reached out to help a single mum who claimed she hadn't been paid for three months. I gave her 3 times what her salary was in a month only for thos lady to write me after a week that her gas finished and she can't cook and she feels like committing suicide.
Her demands kept increasing. At a stage her daughter also started writting me .
Constant requests and constant God bless you.
What saddened me is that some people think that they can scam you. They don't understand that they are blocking help from getting to people who genuinely need it.

ADHD is not only an ordeal for the child but also for the parents who are constantly being accused and put on inquisition. The children are labelled as badly trained and lazy.
