Kobojunkiee: What you are invariably saying is that Christ lied when He declared that He alone is Teacher to all those who are His followers, something God also stated through His prophets before Jesus Christ?
So in you summation, Jesus Christ made a false statement when He declared, as God did, that He alone is Shepherd/guide/Head over His entire flock? I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on this one. Jesus (the Word) is the Teacher. Likewuse the Holyspirit whom the Father sent to teach Christians all things. It is also without a doubt that Jesus chose the 12 as apostles to lead (including teach) his flock. Peter and Paul being the apostles to the circumcised and uncircumcised respectively. While these leaders are not meant to laud it over their followers, they do have a responsibility having followed and learned from Christ to teach his new followers. |

Jewish God says there's no other God beside Yahweh which is why Jesus declaring himself as God or Son of God was the deal breaker. Muslim God says unless you believe Muhammed, you're a pagan Christian God says unless you accept Jesus as your Lord, you're a pagan. Worse still, within Christianity, the division can only be measured according to the myriads of denominations that believe if you're not of their denomination, you're not a true Christian. Lol |

uc4uandc: NEVER DATE AT WORK PLACE (A personal experience)
It was early August of 2020 when I got an invitation text to come for an interview in newly established entertainment industry here in the East.
We numbered over 300 who came for the interview and after much screening, 62 staff were selected.
The daily training was intense and interesting too because of the Manager we had, he was so detailed and funny also.
Amongst trainees were beautiful ladies of all shapes and sizes and intelligence. The first day I saw my girlfriend, I didn't feel anything, she's very young and beautiful and opposing too (one of my likes about women). I realize she's a little opinionated, hence she got my attention.
We were all given appointment letter to our various positions. Mine was what I applied for but my gf didn't get hers, she was rather given something else. She came to me to complain since we are now friends and I told her that maybe the reason why she wasn't given the position she wanted was because she's short (Sarcastically, but I meant it)
She got angry and opposed me (I have a thing for women who oppose actions, especially when they have reasons). I apologized and we got along....... Boom we started dating.
#FASTFOWARD# The next month, I got promoted to one of the managers, everyone was happy for me. I have been a senior staff for like 8 months now and I must tell you that it has been a terrible experience.
My girlfriend is choking the hell out of me at work. She's very lukewarm in terms of carrying out her duties, when I confront her to do her work, she will tell me that I'm being too harsh on her. How can you litter your department like this and go home? she will tell me she's tired, I will have to assign someone else to do it, but it's her duty.
This keeps happening all the time, if I shout at her at work (when she gets on my nerves) she won't talk to me again for weeks and she won't greet me at work. If I ask her questions about sales, she won't reply me.
The most recent one was her and her colleagues misbehaving and I queried them, others replied my query, but she didn't. I wanted to let go, but one of the senior staff asked about her own reply to the query. I was forced to surcharge her N5,000 since she didn't reply, that means she's guilty. After I served her the letter, she got angry and said "all the managers in this company are stupid" she said this to my face. Something she can't say to other managers.
Mehn! I was so furious and I was walking away when she threw her book at me, in front of other junior staff. OMG!...... I just walked away. She's still keeping malice (her specialty) with me. I am not happy with her either.
I keep avoiding her so as not to get into more of what we are. But the work is suffering because of her dereliction. Currently, I don't know how to tell her I don't want to be with her again, but I love her.
My advice Never date at your place of work especially when you are bossing over her! Which is why it's against policy in most companies. You're both simply playing to the gallery. I feel your pain though. It's even worse now cos the only solution is either to fire her or you seek transfer to another branch where you both don't work directly. Both of which are not easy decisions to make. |

Based on precedence, Igbos find it hard to publicly declare their support for Nnamdi Kanu but are his strong followers and foot soldiers. It's quite unfortunate that history keeps repeating itself. Ojukwu who started the Biafran war did not lose anything during the war but innocent igbos lost their lives and properties. But no, igbos do not blame Ojukwu for the loss of their lives but blame the FG that the declared war against. Is it not foolishness to declare war against someone and still blame them for winning the war That said, Nnamdi Kanu is presently leading another Biafra war yet, some stupid igbos are his foot soldiers killing in his behest whe he himself has relocated both himself and his family abroad. At the end of this brewing war, igbos will once again play the blame game, accusing govt of retaliation when it was they who asked for the war. |

StacyO: YES It is all a lie. A very BIG one at that. Men are not scarce, the genuine men are only seeking for ladies with value.
It's not about you being beautiful my sister ever noticed that cheap products have the highest customer base in markets?? Forget the saying that bad girls get married every Sunday. We all know the divorce rate and troubles in every home nowadays.
Men are still in the olden era. Forget 21st century, men are in search of women with worth.
Develop yourself first cause if you don't, you'll depend on men for anything and definitely you know that'll mean opening your legs at any given opportunity.
It's your body, you're free to use it any how you deem fit. But, you just know that men love ladies with value, ladies with goals & future ambitions, ladies who exercise authority over their bodies and doesn't allow mere words move them.
At age 19, I had suitors coming to see my dad. I mean, men with clean rides. I was definitely young and I had no big ass nor boobs.
Then, I began to wonder what drew this men to me? Till I got to discover that I disciplined myself that way. Any man that comes to me, must be in for something serious else, he leaves the relationship disappointed. My only prayer now is that I get to make a good choice when the time is right.
To those ladies complaining of not meeting any man for marriage, WHATS YOUR VALUE? You need to set rules and boundaries when it comes to relationships. Mind you, the FIRST thing a man will look out for when he starts with you is your body. THE BALL DURING ALL THIS IS ACTUALLY IN YOUR COURT. Are you in for sex as well? If no, make it known and make sure you close those legs. Practice, even if you must cause that will be your only saving grace.
Develop yourself You might not be like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala but, make yourself a woman with worth. Place yourself even far above your own value. Na men go dey rush you ooo
Men are not scarce. The question is, are you a liability or a woman of substance?? When you're due for marriage you will understand that not only men are scarce but ladies too are scarce. Not because of the absence of men or women but because you have developed a choice that you know is important to you. Sometimes, this choice might need to be lowered, sometimes it needs to be upgraded depending on how well you're doing. |

The Eastern states have presently become a no-go area with the recent killing of Police men, Politician aides, prison breaks, and other acts of vandalism.
It is almost painful to watch as the Igbos who have for years declared other states as terrorist states have themselves become victims of terrorism.
In an interview with sources concerning the killings in the East, some Igbos have themselves declared that their leader Nnamdi Kanu is behind the killings. This comes as a vendetta against every force that was responsible for the killing of his mother. This is why the killings have been centered against Police and military personnels.
The killings suddenly became more rampant in the wake of the newly formed EBUBE AGU. IPOB having established ESN is obviously fighting the incumbent governors of their states against the establishment of another security outfit called EBUBE AGU.
Hope Uzodimma being the most recent victim of their attack.
It was also mentioned that according to their plan, by next month (May) Nigeria will no longer be an entity but a divided country. This being thei ultimate agenda of the whole killings in the East.
The question remains, is he East is justified by this killings? And should govt call for the referendum? Or Should Nigeria still remain as an entity? |

You are a comedian. Kobo deliver this generation? Your Waka around to many churches is still telling on you with your statement above. Looking around for revelation and prophecies.
Please, Lets talk the real issue jor.
I asked you key questions you jumped them. A key question is this.
All those God used had their own congregation, their own people, a church, a gathering, a leadership. Where is your own and Kobojunkie own, those you lead or lead you, your gathering. Is this hard to understand.
I agreed kobo is the Moses of our time and you are the Aaron, but where are your people, the one you lead, the one you gather. Don't they exist.
You want God to send you to people you never gathered, people you never knew how they met God, people you never cared for more than to drop argument in nairaland? That's the one God can send you to? No work but stories and arguments? Is this how to be sent to gods people?
It's easy to go after another man's labor and destroy in the name of, God sent me, than to labor and build your own people of God or help others to build.
Las Las Bro, it's all about a rebellious heart.
Trace your step back, go settle down in one of the God's family called church, and grow, and be better, and be used of God. You and kobo should cease from yielding to self-centeredness, it destroys. Was this not how the Pharisees doubted Jesus cos he was just an ordinary guy who wasn't even part of them? O ye of little faith. Study your Bible, Jesus and Moses were not of any religious gatherings. They were taught directly by God before they later formed their gathering. The point being, gathering is necessary but they could also be exceptions especially for pioneers. Any way, I'm not in the position to judge Kobojunkie, I'll leave that to you, since you're the expert on judging others. |

IamNumeroUno: I created this thread out of my reservations towards some Nairaland monikers that I consider to be too obnoxious, excessive generalizations of comments and stray too far from topics.
These people are overtly overzealous and sometimes, too emotional in their comments, whether for or against the government of the day in the politics section.
Generally, in the politics section, which I consider the most popular on Nairaland, there are three categories of users:
1. The Wailers or Ipobs or PDP or ESN supporters: This group is considered to be in constant opposition of the government of the day. For instance, if there is a report that a man beat his pregnant wife in let's say, Okigwe, they would find a way to link it to Buhari and blame Buhari. They just derive pleasure in blaming the government for everything, I mean everything that happens in Nigeria. I hail una o.
2. The BMC or Zombies or Afonja or Yoruba Muslim or Aboki: This group considers itself the elite members and feel very untouchable. They would provoke you to a fight and be the first to call Mynd44 or Seun and report you. They support the government of the day, regardless of how wrong the situation is. Take for instance, if the Army brutalised their own sibling in Ilesha, they would ask why their sibling would dare stand in the way of the Military, "don't you know that the army has the right to level anybody that threatens the sovereignty of Nigeria"?
3. The Unstable users or the middle ones or the undecided: These ones do not know where they belong. They are easily swayed by the aforementioned 'super men' above.
In all these, each of these users have that particular moniker that annoys you.
Personally, I Never read comments from and Racoon. Funny enough, they each belong to opposing sides of the divide. They are passionate about their support for what they believe but I consider them too passionate. The most annoying part of it is that, they would bring screenshots from other news articles of ten years ago to prove their points. Anytime I see their comments, I scroll past without wasting time to read.
Worthy mentions include: Righteousness89.
Who is that Nairaland user you would block from seeing his/her comments if you could? Everyone on Religion section can agree that Maxindhouse is a pest. Ban is an understatement. Righteousness2 is next because he has nothing positive to share except dooms day messages. |

hoopernikao: You must be a very good dancer in the natural.
You seems not to be good with reading. The argument here is about individual identifying with a gathering either as the authority or surbodinate.
- Moses was the head of the Jews, the authority, the pastor or his days had his members (a people of Moses together, he identified with a gathering). This is the focus of discussion. The church was submitted to Moses as Moses, God. Hence Moses was identify with a church. He has a people, a gathering.
- Jesus did the same, he had his gathering, he fellowship and identify with them, His church was not the Jews but his disciples. Jesus and Moses were the peak of the authority of their assembly, hence they submitted to God yet has a gathering they identify and fellowship with.
Now Since, you seems to be the Moses and Jesus of our time, the peak of the authority, kindly, ascertain here that you have your own gathering that meet you, submit to your authority as you submit to God as we saw in Moses and Jesus. God's mind is for his people to gather. Moses fulfilled this, Jesus did. What about you?
So answer 1. Do you identify with a church? where is your gathering, the ones submitted to you, (since you are Moses). The ones you gather with?
This is the main discussion, answer it and cease from rebellion. I'm not dancing neither am I illiterate. I just pointed you to 2 different examples that did not follow the norm. Who are you to determine who God has set on a leadership path? If Kobojunkie is to deliver this generation from the avalanche of fake churches and fake pastors that abound, who are you to determine that? If only you had any spiritual gifts, by now you should have a spiritual revelation concerning him, and not keep judging him like the Pharisees judged Jesus till they had him crucified. |
