If you are not so hateful and ignorant you would have noticed that the objection against FFK is not based on where he came from but who he is and stands for.

Northerners have been conferring traditional titles to numerous southerners from the SW, SE & SS for donkey years ( you can google it to find out).

However, in the case of FFK it is quite different because he is known for and has never stopped insulting northerners at the slightest opportunity - his unsavoury utterances against the north and it's major religion (Islam) are out there for all to see.
It is therefore quite natural and understandable that most self respecting northerners would to object to the honouring of FFK in such a manner - it has nothing to do with his tribe, region or religion.

I suggest she is placed on seretide inhaler, which acts by suppressing the onset of attacks; while she should also have the usual ventolin inhaler as back up, in event she has an attack, in order to open up her airway and facilitate breathing.
With the first drug above, she would virtually forget forget she is asthmatic - this is from 1st hand experience, my wife is also asthmatic.
