Scoring goals is not the only function of a weaker foot. Sir, when it comes to the overall usage of both feet, Ronaldo outshines Messi.

Fatness does not necessarily imply weight. Away from that, it takes more than height to be good aerially. If you watch Ronaldo's nodders, you will see that he quickly rises before every one else and directs the ball while the defenders are just rising. If you check Abedi Pele's nodder against Nigeria( Senegal 92 third place match), he was shorter than all our defenders but he had a better jump power and vertical acceleration than the defenders and before they could say Jack, the ball was in the back of the net.

Are you kidding me? No bias about this one sir. They are equally good when it comes to ball control and can do do anything with the ball.Infact, when lobg balls are sent, Messi prefers to do the CHEST-LAPS-FOOT kind of control. Ronaldo could just stick out his leg and deadens the ball with just a single touch. They are equally good at this. The ball control of both players is balanced.

Sir, the argument is basically about performance and not attitude but I will still look at this point.Ronaldo has got more yellow cards than Messi too and you know why? Messi hardly attempts to intercept passes or defend. Whenever the ball isn't with him, he just walks or strolls on the pitch while waiting for his team mates to get the ball and give it back to him. So, Ronaldo is better defensively but because, he isn't a professional at that, makes a lot of mistakes with his timing and there is no how you will defend without being carded.So, defensively,...... It was also stated that the six candidates that will contest now can't contest for 2015 again; they made it look like a favour meanwhile the person that gets in will use "power of incumbency" to oust any candidate like Ribadu eyeing the office and at the end of the day, he will be stranded. I used to think that he (Ribadu) is intelligent not until recently. There was no orders FROM ABOVE for certain candidates to step down. There was no preferred candidate by a godfather somewhere. There is no anointed candidate by a certain all powerful godfather. While joining PDP, Ribadu knew he would still have to contest with other heavyweights in a primary election. That is the BEAUTY of democracy and that was what attracted Ribadu to the PDP.

This is unlike the Aggrieved People's Congress (APC) where the godfather has already anointed a candidate to fly the party's flag

You are so funny. The Democracy you referring to has to do with the right of the people to vote for whom they want not who the party puts forward. There is no stated law that says how a candidate must emerge from political parties.

Different political parties have different ideologies and so far so good, Tinubu's method has been more effective and worthwhile than your PDP that conducts kangaroo primaries. He sits down, draws up plans and brings out credible candidates not like the Pdp that parades criminals almost all the time and play politics of the highest bidder. The emergence of the flag bearer particularly in the East has to do with the highest bidder and that is why Tinubu is far more intelligent than the whole PDP put together.

Anyone that isn't satisfied with APC's style should go and float their own political party and see how easy it is to strategise, finance , maintain a party that will be a force to reckon with.

Moreover, the late Gani Fawenmi was a lawyer, when he came out as his party's flag bearer, did he conduct primaries? Did chris Okotie conduct primaries? Did Pat Utomi ever conduct primaries? Asisat Osuola gave a very impressive performance; she was everywhere. If we had like two of her type, we would have beaten the Germans silly.

What killed our team?

1) Loss of concentration and cordination.Ayila really messed up. Even when the ball passed, she should have done anything to stop that girl before entering the box 18. I expected the coach to remove the no7 jersey girl too from first half, she was just losing the ball anyhow. Her replacement was worse, the no 12 jersey (KANU) that couldn't even hold the ball nor make a good clearance.

2)Lack of technical awareness. That player shouldn't have hit the ball on the way to the net. I was just shouting "please don't hit the ball again" till she dazed it into the net.

3) Poor set pieces : This seems to be a majour problem with almost all the Nigerian teams. We wasted all the corners in the match and all the free kicks too.

4) Lack of stamina: it was obvious our girls couldn't withstand 120 minutes of play as they were justjust waiting for the clock to wind down against their wish though.

All in all, I think the coach did a good job . It is not easy coaching girls at all as they are very emotional and lose their mind so easily. We tried, good work girls, we played the Germans. Better luck next time.

I watched different analysis of the Nigerian girls on our local TVs and I must say that our opponents have been unjustly underrated. Those girls from New Zealand are so tall and strong in the air too. Moreover, their speed na die, they are damn too fast and are so good on the ballwith fast passes and good finishing. If we can take care of their speed and aerial balls, we should be okay. Our girls seem to have an eye for long range balls, they have scored at least two screamers from such range. All the best to our girls. The best team so far in this competition is the German team( my opinion); Their no 9 is hot like fire just like PO (the no 9 jersey in the last competition).

Our Navy can't fight on water, how many of thm can succesfully navigate a compass? They just sit down there with their pot bellies embezzling funds. Our Airforce na wash too. We all learn everyday, so, do not take anything personal. I observed that there is a dominant error in your writeups and it was the same mistake you made when you first named the thread. It is about singular and plural nouns in relation to the kind of verbs they take. An "s" is usually added to the back of the verb for a singular noun most times while the verb for a plural noun doesn't take any additional form.



The word "graduates" is plural and it will take "make" not "makes". " .........GRADUATES who MAKE bluders". "GUYS PISS me off". "The BOY COMES here everyday" etc. Moreover, the word "has" is never used for plurals.


My point is that all these things don't really matter so so much in human relations. I think communication is the key thing.If I were speaking with Prof. Soyinka, he might end up identifying various errors from my speech, so, it is a relative thing that depends on whom one is talking to.

No dear, no need for that. They were just trying to make you see that no one is above mistakes. Truth hurts. If the MVP's for this competition are listed according to order in an unbiased manner, Messi doesn't belong to the top 4. The award was just a compensation.

Messi being awarded the golden ball is a clear midnight robbery orchestrated from the round tables of FIFA and Sepp Blatter. It was already planned, they planned to give it to Messi if Argentina loses. There were a couple of better players in this world cup.
