Offpointng: When I tell folks like M4A1carbine and other erring Ipobs wishing the worse off Tinubu's government, I make em understand any bad thing/hardship they're praying for or wishing Nigeria so Yorubas will regret, I made them understand the SE will be the worse hit and the hardship would rather be hard on them the most in the South. Shey one was saying Yorubas have not seen anything yet? but well, in IB and some other SW states, a litre of fuel currently sells for 400,450/litre but see the news emanating from a SE state, 680/litre??
To our SE folks wishing ill of Nigeria, Y'all ain't see nothing yet Oga, how are they wishing ill for Nigeria? Are they the ones that voted APC and Tinubu, the current cause of the increase in price of petrol? You voted Tinubu, he rightly (in my opinion) removed fuel subsidy driving prices high. Since when does wishing or praying for hardship equate to facts on ground? You seem to be reasoning like the man that sleeps, has a dream in which he fights with the neighbor, he then wakes up and goes to continue the fight in real life with the unknowing fellow, claiming the neighbor did him this and that in the dream. If people from the east are buying fuel for 2k per liter, did they complain to you? Why cry more than the bereaved? |

Ajagunakin: It’s now finally gone for good, make everybody start to dey pay market share including thieving politicians Hopefully, let's hope it has gone for good this time. We also must see the benefit of over $10b no longer used to import fuel. Benefits especially with the "appreciation" of the naira, more acess to the fx, eg pay off the foreign airlines been owed, return the fx previlages we had with our debit cards. Eg 2014 before this locust regime came in, I was able to order truck injector nozzles worth 800 gbp over the phone and providing my card regular debit details. Now you cannot even make a "down payment for a piece of corn" |

NinjaMetahuman: you are buying at 170 because it was subsidize.
Dangote refinery won't make fuel cheaper but available and save the country some forex.
Instead of using dollars to import fuel, we won't have to. And there will be no scarcity because there will always be enough fuel to go round instead of storing imported fuel all the time.
Tinubu can however make it cheaper without paying subsidy if they can sign a deal with dangote to give him crude oil in naira so he can sell fuel back to Nigerians in naira rate. "Tinubu can however make it cheaper without paying subsidy if they can sign a deal with dangote to give him crude oil in naira so he can sell fuel back to Nigerians in naira rate." Your above statement means subsidy. If it is not free market it is subsidy. Bottom line, in genuine subsidy, filling stations will source and sell at whatever prices they deem fit. Overtime, market forces and competition will reduce and stabilize prices. |

This terminal looks better than the new terminal commissioned at mm2, said to be built at $400m cost. The issue is if states can build such airports, setup airlines in which they outrightly bought used and brand new aircraft, ie ibom air, how come a whole federal government is then going to borrow money from China to build the airports, then going to Ethiopia to manage airline for us? Where was Ethiopian Airlines in the days of Nigeria airways? If air peace, max and the others can operate brand new planes, why can't fgn do the same. |

Politics › Re: Government Tompolo Congratulates Bola Tinubu On The Occasion Of His Inauguration by nedekid: 11:51am On May 29, 2023 |
N3TRAL: Tinubu is loved in the creeks of the South South. I've said this from Day 1. Rivers State does not start and end in Port Harcourt. Delta State doesn't start and end in Asaba.
Let me tell you why we have confidence in Tinubu?
Tinubu does not treat the children of nobody like outcasts or murder them in cold blood like someone used Awkuzu Sars to kill dissidents.
No matter the provocation, Tinubu isn't one who will order a military raid to sack an entire community like Obasanjo ordered his boys to destroy Odi in Bayelsa to the ground.
Tinubu has the midas touch to turn unemployed miscreants into money making entities for the government. He did it with the likes of MC Oluomo at Lagos.
When he says that he intends to recruit millions of youth to farm "Agbado", he's talking about taking the "nobodies" who we've concluded to be useless out of the cold streets.
The boys wielding machine guns in every nook and cranny of Nigeria know the Nigerian leader who is likely to create a plan for them to drop the guns without fighting with them. His name is Bola Tinubu. We stand on his mandate. Everything in naija is about personal interest. If you think the folks in naija delta give a hoot, then you are naive, it is all about pipeline contracts, sharing of money etc. On a personal note, if this commitment to ass kissing you have shown the past months leading to and after the election is not being compensated, ie your personal interest is not being massaged, then it will be polite to call you a mumu man. Ffk, keyamo, onanuga and the other trumpets are not doing it for free bro. |

Smh Your sense of Justice is injurious to justice itself. By the time those Yoruba nation guys chase Igbo out of Yorubaland then it is your fault not that of the Fulani you hate because of their son Buhari. In life, you reap what you sow. Sorry to say, the crap you wrote does not make sense. Fulanis and other tribes stay in the East and other parts of Nigeria peacefully, the illegitimate criminal ones in the bushes are those that when they commit crimes are chased, no different from how Mr Igboho went to the bush with his men to chase and capture that Fulani warlord. Feel free to chase anyone you wish to out of parts of Nigeria after changing the constitution. Also have enough money at hand to buy back landed property at current market rate. |
