As a student it hasn't been easy at all. In fact I had to stay back after our exams so as to look for jobs so as to get money against the next session but non has been forth coming.

Anyone willing to help me with a Job that I can even continue even when we resume will be doing me a great favour. Thank you.

If you are in tech, young and single and willing to learn another language. Chile Is one country I will recommend over and over again. Like I tell my guys, the only country better than Chile to me is the US. I have lived and worked in Italy and to be honest, from my own perspective Chile is better than all the countries in Europe.

I got another offer from the Chilean state bank which is like the central bank here but rejected it cause they are paying literally half of what my current salary is and I still get recruiters sending me emails and LinkedIn messages every single day.

What I will say though is that Chile isn't really a hustling country. If you want to do menial jobs here, you will forever be poor as the Chilean minimum wage is low but if you have the skills that is well in demand here, you would be paid a lot.

The salary for professional jobs in Chile is very high in relation to the cost of living. Like with the offers I have had from Chilean companies, I can comfortably buy a house and a brand new car in Chile in 2 to 3 years but for menial jobs its hand to mouth living. You won't even be able to rent a house to yourself just a single room. I think that's where Europe probably beats Chile as people with menial jobs can be able to buy a house or own a brand new car.

Thank you for this. Is there opportunity for those who are into Backend development (Java)/DevOp sEngineer so make I go start to dey learn Spanish.

Why, as a man and father, will nurturing your own kids not be a primary duty to you? Will heaven fall if you're both responsible for providing and nurturing?
It's good for both parents to nurture their children but it is the primary duty of the mother

As a man do not get married if you are not ready to provide.

It's as simple as that.
Why will a man get married if he is not ready to provide? From what I know, provision is the primary duty of a man while nurturing is the primary duty of a woman.

Yaradua didn't have good intentions for Nigeria. A lot of what we are suffering today is cause of yaradua. He reversed a lot of Obasanjos policies. Yaradua and buhari are the same stock of people.

Africa and Nigeria will never be great. The black man has been cursed by God to suffer until the world ends.

Ah! This is too much na.

Many Nigerians are used to saying SORRY instead of EXCUSE ME and that can lead to a whole lot of unwarranted "SORRY" especially in an office with high verbal communication rate.

SORRY, where is the door
EXCUSE ME where is the door.

Exactly, I am tired of correcting people especially the so called undergraduates who are supposed to know how to differentiate between the two words and how to use them.

It's so annoying.

FOLYKAZE:
You've done well Seun by identifying with the root, the African spirituality.

Christianity and Islam are the two foreign religions that tried not only to steal our heritage away from us but they completely want to erode us of our history and heritage. We've come of age to realise that ROF Ogboni had it source from the church. As a matter of fact, the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity (Inc.) was instituted on 18 December 1914 by a Anglican Clergyman, the late Hon. Archdeacon T.A.J. Ogunbiyi. Pushing history back, dark spirituality like Geomancy has it source from the church. Its therefore not a new song that started yesterday that the core of those churches are closet traditionalist who sold dummies to their flocks.

Funny enough, traditional spirituality does not have founder. Unlike Christianity and Islam that was created by a dead Jew and Caravan robber in the middle east desert, African spirituality connects us with the world beyond. And only through it one can know itself

Help me tell them ooo, especially the first commenter.

What a shame, rejoicing at the triumphing of Satan over your soul.

Because he chose to be a traditional worshipper, he should then be ashamed of himself?

Let people worship who their conscience align with. Thank you sir.

Nope Unilag is not overhyped.. infact, the institution lives up to its reputation and motto "in deed and in truth". You can't graduate from Unilag without having something upstairs.. the calibre of lecturers in Unilag will humble you.
While I was in the Faculty of Engineering, our Dean of Faculty was exceptional, a Prof. par excellence (heard he is now late).. We had other gurus like Prof. Mowete in Electrical and so many others, too numerous to mention.. who you wan raise shoulder for na?
There is one particular Don that taught me GEG 101, Engineering Mathematics in my first year who was working with NASA then.. Public Universities are still the best till tomorrow.

Don't let anyone deceive you, there are only two Universities in Nigeria... UNILAG and others.
It's not just called the Uni. of First Choice for fun.. you gatz ace your JAMB and compete with over 80,000 candidates from across the country for 6,000 admission slots. It's the best of the best brains you'll meet on campus when you finally enter.
So true. I had to write JAMB twice before being admitted into Engineering.
