Politics › Re: Kidnappings: How Safe Are Nigerians? by nex(m): 5:27pm On Aug 29, 2009
well, I'm currently in Ughelli, Delta state for my lil' neice birthday and the thing I worry about the most is getting napped on the way back to Benin. already, we've had a serious fracas with the police, it'd be terrible to have any aggro with militants on the road home.

well, September is here. Let's see how things will work out after the deadline.

@markemmi

It costs about $1 billion to generate 1,000 MW of electricity. That's N150 billion to generate 1,000 MW. N1.5 trillion would generate 10,000 MW which will only stabilize the country's supply for a while. We would need N7.25 trillion to be producing approximately 50,000 MW.

Like somebody asked earlier,

N14 billion?
N8 billion?
N3 billion?
N1 billion?

How much exactly?

Well, it was the same Jimoh that outline his strategy by which he wanted to take over Total by building filling stations for them faster than they can pay for. That was the most outlandish business proposal I'd heard at the time and it obviously failed.

That was of course till I heard his Naira rain idea to combat the credit crunch.

Is he not the head of the Corporate Affairs Commission.

They eat both. Broilers are eaten which are not up to the age of laying. Lens are also eaten both locally and also old layers from the egg industry.

So we eat both.

I have no doubt that the USA have their hand in this thing, but fortunately, it has burnt their fingers a couple of times, but that doesn't mean 1 million people cannot use the same email address to send mail messages once they are given the ID and password.

@sjeezy8

You're beginning to sound like only PDP Governors can do wrong. We shouldn't condone evil just because of our choice of Political Parties.

@pcicero

packing people 13 in a room and feeding them twice a day is not rehabilitation.

IBB is trying to mock Nigerians. He's just trying to ask "you people still believe God will solve your problems abi?"

So Nigerians, continue to pray and wait for God. Don't worry, be happy. Happy People, Happy Dora.
Politics › Re: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by nex(m): 8:36pm On Aug 24, 2009
I can even understand deportation back to their homes to a limited extent. What worries me is exiling them to a state that is not their own.

You don't send them on EXILE. If the Plateau State Government is to follow the example of Lagos, they will exile two thirds of the beggars to Kaduna and one third to Lagos.
