Politics › Re: The Difference Between Bola Tinubu And Tunde Fashola by nex(m): 5:23pm On Aug 13, 2009
I don't like Tinubu one bit. In fact, I hate his Okpolo eyes so much. I don't know what finally happened to about N4 billion of Lagos money he invested in Econet, and I know several properties in Magodo GRA which he registered under the name of Barr. Bisi Adegbuyi. I also know he had a hand in the death of Funsho Williams in order to retain Lagos state in his grip. We all know that if Funsho had lived, Lagos would have become PDP West Headquarters today. Then of course the man re-glorified area boys to the extent that one area boy could claim ownership of an entire community like Ajah, killing and maiming several law abiding citizens in the process.

All this said, I will tell you that anybody who claims Tinubu did nothing in Lagos is a very demonic soul. Look at Pen Cinema area. Remember how Awolowo Road was. Talk about Kudirat Abiola Way. Talk about the whole of Osapa paved. Igbo-Efon roads paved and connected to the electric power grid. Talk about LAWMA and what refuse collection has become today. Do you know Akin Adesola street? Adeyemo Alakija nko? See LTV and Eko FM performing at par with any other channel or station in the country. City Mall is there. See how many foreign investors the man brought into Lagos.

If you want to kill a dog, do it for the bad name it has. Don't come and add a bad surname to it for no good reason.

I know Tinubu is an extremely bad person. But don't say he didn't do his job at all. He tried and I know he would have done better, It's just the drugs that him and Muiz keep taking that prevents them from maximizing their potential.
Politics › Re: Banks Tackles Loan Defaulters, Petitions Yar'adua by nex(m): 4:47pm On Aug 13, 2009
See why I keep saying that Nigerians are the problem of this country.

Banks have clearing problems with one another, instead of going to the independent regulatory bodies being the CBN or NDIC, they are calling on or petitioning the President of the Federal Republic.

Very soon household quarrels will require petitioning the President.

Stupidity sha is a very powerful thing.
Politics › Re: Prosecute Obasanjo Then We Will Have A Corrupt Free Nigeria by nex(m): 4:36pm On Aug 13, 2009
OBJ level pass all this rubbish.

Of all the people the Senate wakes up every morning to decide whom to humiliate, how has that led to development. These parliamentarians actually stalled power generation for almost a year just because they yearned to talk rudely to Abdulsalam Abubakar, OBJ and other people that are not their mates.

If Obasanjo, against his own will entered a witness box during the Oputa Panel, why shouldn't he go to the Senate now that he's no more President. The answer is relevance. Go to the Senate and see the kind of stupid pointless questions they'll be asking you. "When last did you renew you PDP membership card?".

Somebody is saying we should not punish an illegitimate government but we should chastise a legitimate one. Naija! Is this how badly our brains have been battered?

Please, you people should start cleansing yourselves of corruption from your homes, your offices and amongst you friends.
Politics › Re: Adeboye Floats Millionaires’ Club by nex(m): 4:15pm On Aug 13, 2009
I've reached my abode in Ugbowo, Benin City. I saw 4 Redeem Chapels. On Urubi street, another at Uselu junction (Regioners Chapel) , one on the street beside Kaydees (Hephsibah Assembly), then one more on Uselu-Lagos Road itself. Still no Rehabilitation Centre.

Everybody here knows how large RCCG billboards and sign boards can be. If there was any Rehabilitation Centre in Benin City, I would have seen it.

What is just annoying is that just the way Daddy G. O. can lie to them that they are saving lives in Bangladesh, that's the same way they want to lie that they are rehabilitating people in Benin City. Well, I will confirm to you that Benin is not remote enough to hide your lies. We're here.

The level of fanatism have dug so deep that people are willing to LIE in an effort to paint their earthly gods white. It is you that needs rehabilitation Mr. switch47

Politics › Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by nex(m): 3:26pm On Aug 13, 2009
OBJ's government didn't do so well, but really, but so far, It's the best I've seen in Nigeria. At least there were achievements.

@switch47

I'm back in Benin just after a brief trip to the Delta to see the state of things with my brothers.

Since I'm on Sapele Road now in Benin City, you may do well to tell me the address of the Redeemed Rehabilitation Centre in Benin. I'll locate the place, snap a picture in from of the place and post it by evening.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by nex(m): 2:31pm On Aug 13, 2009
OBJ made nonsense of the Power Sector of this country. The power sector was doing better before Obasanjo came in, he then went ahead and left it in worse shape.

Now, whatever else you're saying, I don't know. Even if we see the sex tapes of Obasanjo and his daughter inlaw, how does that affect the price of crude oil?

Remember God says touch not my anointed.

@kosovo

I have a weakness. I have a very serious weakness which is the patience I have to endure fools.

I read your moronic article from start to finish. What I wonder is if you read it. If you did read It, then I conclude that you have not the mental capacity for comprehension.

Bring out your calculator. Libya plans to execute 220 Nigerians, with 30 of them already killed the day before. Then among the 220 people to be executed, Nigerian, Sudanese et al are among. Then out of the 30 already killed, 10 were Nigerians. Can you see the kind of madness your brain is churning out to the unsuspecting public? If you want to lie, lie. What I hate is when you jumble figures all over the place and believe that because you've succeeded in confusing yourself, you can confuse others too.

Or do you want to blame this stupidity on "scare quote" too. Air brain!

How do you siphon off a lean structured private organization such as the NESG?

Politics › Re: Reduce The Seven Point Agenda To One! by nex(m): 10:04am On Aug 13, 2009
I like this Yar'Adua guy. Really I do. He's a very nice and honest man. But whoever gave him the idea that Presidency is for him is actually his worst enemy and I think that should be OBJ. The name Yar'Adua has not been brought to so much disrepute since Fela died.

By the end of the first year, I thought at least two agenda would have been completed. During the second year, I thought he'd have completed 3 agenda in a rush and put probably one more in the pipeline. Still nothing.

Yar'Adua will not be able to come back for a second term. He won't even contest the election. I know he fully rues every moment he spends as president.

I'd always wanted the president to concentrate on 1 point agenda. OBJ took several years to achieve so few agenda, how can this slower, weaker and sicker man do that in less time?

Yar'Adua should make sure all the Independent Power Projects come on line. That's all. I don't want him to build new power plants or anything. He should just ensure that all the power stations in Nigeria are functioning at optimum capacity, then wait for 2011 to come as soon as possible so he can relinquish that office for its next victim.

Farewell Yar'Adua, farewell 7 point agenda.

Let the USA bring war to Nigeria so that those Americano wannabes can see what the USA can do to human beings when they need Crude Oil.

The funny thing is that it is us in the Niger Delta that the USA army will come and annihilate. They will not disturb the Fulani much.

Anyway, the entire visit went just the way it should. They reaped what they'd sown.
Politics › Re: Clinton: Efcc Has ‘fallen Off’ by nex(m): 9:17am On Aug 13, 2009
Clinton has asked the EFCC to step up against stealing of public funds. Then they asked her what the USA on its own part will do in trying to make sure thieves don't hide their money with them, she didn't answer.

An unrepentant accomplice of thieves is complaining about the thieves she works for. What's the difference between armed robbers and the "edede" that provides a safehouse for their weapons and loot?
Politics › Re: Nigeria On The Brink Of Civil War by nex(m): 8:42am On Aug 13, 2009
May you find yourself caught up in civil war.

Your friend Collier believes that it is the human right of every African country to be engulfed by civil war. May his country delve into civil war. In most of these European and American countries, more than 20% of their population are already fully armed. May they find what their eye is looking in their backyards.

Romance › Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Grow Fat And Ugly After Marraige? by nex(m): 6:29am On Aug 13, 2009
Because when they get married, most husbands make their wives stay at home all day watching Africa Magic. How does that keep them fit. a lot of men are even afraid of letting their wives visit the gym, for fear that they may find some Tyson beckford-ish hombre there.

Another reason could be because they bear children. Naturally, fat is gained during pregnancy to cater for the baby's needs.
Romance › Re: How To Tell Your Girlfriend She Can't Cook? by nex(m): 6:17am On Aug 13, 2009
Well, I had two girls who couldn't cook as flatmates in college. I had to wake up early as possible to handle the task so that they don't turn our "daily bread" of oil rice into Tuwon Shinkafa and red oil. They couldn't clean, they couldn't do anything except wash their underwear. And myself, being an equality of task kinda guy, I didn't mind. I used to defend them. Well, three years after school, I and one of them cribbed together in 2008. There was meant to be like a small reunion that period, so I dropped some cash with the boys before going out. By the time I received a phone call that Nonye had finished cooking, I almost fainted! 1 carton of turkey, wasted. Quarter bag of rice, wasted. Egusi soup, sugary. Pounded yam, better eaten with egg stew. I wish going back memory lane, that I'd made it clear to those girls that they couldn't cook to go to heaven. Hunger wire us die throughout that party.

Imagine the kind of English our Minister of information, one of our top diplomats, is speaking 'some four white men"

This is not even her business. It is all up to the NTA DG. All she can do is call him up from time to time, to instruct, advice and criticise. Very soon, our Minister of Information will start selling newspapers. is this how she saw others running that office?

When you answer these questions, you will know if Nigeria is a country worth living in.

Well, I just want you all to know that things worked out just the way they should. We got their message, we sent them a reply. Believe me or not, they got our message back and they'll act on it. Just sit and watch. The will change their behaviour towards Nigeria after what transpired.

@mccloud,

If Obama is such a conformist to the traditions of every place he visits, then I hope he checks up on the Oba of Lagos sometime soon.

Let's just leave it at that because I know the game these people are playing and in diplomacy, Hillary Clinton is below Ojo Madueke's league. I know because he's a Nigerian you people look down on him, but in the game he and Clinton just played, he won. Wait and see the results.
