venai:It will be a case of pot calling kettle. Most times the governor and other administrators are not on seat, not on official duty, just absent. So the one time he cared to show up and one school, he wants to instill discipline? It's a process, that must be nurtured and supported over time, and by setting good examples. Besides, are they truly paying the teachers regularly? |
This is what we need... a non-partial EFCC with teeth. Bingo, chom am: "Woof woof bite!" ![]() |
Of all our leaders, HRH Emir Sanusi is somebody I respect the most. Anytime I see him getting involved, I feel he will bring sanity to the situation. |
In za oza room, of course ![]() Come to think of it, she's kept a low profile for some time now... not just since his travel. It's a good thing too... we don't need to hear about the goings-on about the President's family members - who we didn't elect. |
mustymatic:Prove it. Unlike so many others, she cannot be said to have stolen. But if you can give verifiable proof, I'll shut up. |
ToriBlue:I wish the "inferiority complex" was only within her. Unfortunately she's doing it because there are lots of guys who like it... That's where the shame is: some African men with a deep preference for fair skin... |
... And how much u think regular diapers are? Not to mention clothes, another mouth to feed, hospital bills, lack of freedom for 5-7 years. Always is the cheaper option in this recession. Like the guy above me said, choose wisely. I would like to predict that 2016 to 2019 will see the lowest birth rate in Nigeria |
shortgun:Almost made me spit out my peppersoup ![]() |
Sorry too late. He was voted in. |
Hehe, older sister should have set things up as her p1mp/madam. ![]() |
Chai chai. Did is not good at all... I can predict the headline for next week: "Heardsmen kill 10 in avenge of cows killed by car in Yenagoa" Now before we ask "are these hearders crazy", how else is one supposed to bring cows from North into Yenagoa without crossing some busy roads? It's not as if there's a bridge... Unless you tell me there's an intersection with working traffic light... |
So all those danfo and okada drivers will start doing what? Robbing? Because I didn't see the part about you employing them... ![]() |
Who u wan rob? Me? I no get moni oh! You go beat me taiyah. Your target dey Aso Rock and environs, make u waka go dat side, abeg |
hyfr:Best response ever!!! ![]() |
And yet there are puff puff sellers in Lagos clearing 10k/day. Dey dia |
MARYchiells:To reduce cost and weight, and improve fuel efficiency, they went with smaller frames, lighter carriage, and smaller tires. It's supposed to be a local-run kind of vehicle, 20km or less radius. Whether it's appropriate for our roads - or our propensity for overload - is another matter. ![]() Of course, we will see people trying to transport 3tonnes of gravel on top of it. |
False. I don't know which in particular is false: 1 - the blogger reporting news that didn't happen 2 - the university faculty, accepting rubbish research 3 - the researcher, for being unprofessional enough to think he can fool us The sum total is this is absolute rubbish. Aluminum Silicate and Magnesium Silicate are fancy names for types of clay and talc respectively, BTW. |
itsik:Which creeping? Gay and lesbians have been part of our culture since time immemorial. Our traditional societies - which were very tolerant - just turned a blind eye towards it. I'm not sure I'm interested in seeing this movie, but I have great respect for Mr. Adekola as an actor |
Thanks but, F*CK material gifts. The best gift they can give is to call their own to order and protect Christian lives. They should educate and lift their people out of mind slavery and abject poverty. Is it the picture of Jesus that will stop the killings? SMh ![]() |
vanbonattel:Seconded and thirded. I want to see cattle ranches, meat cutters and suya sellers all from our side. Then those chaps can go and forment trouble in their own land. |
Good move. Please make sure you pay them, oh? Too many people working have not seen salary for 3 to 6 months. ![]() |
DIKEnaWAR:Na you talk am oh ![]() |
I bet you that luggage never left Naija. Someborry don divert am ![]() |
It says something about a leader when people are willing to use their own resources and initiative to honour them. Kudos GEJ. ![]() |
samsam2019:I think we can say the same about biological children. Some of them cause their parents a lot of heartache. |
Would you give your own problematic child back? When one decides to adopt, it's not really like a shoe you want to try on for a while and return if not satisfied. The role of the parent is to raise a child, adopted, related, or own. It's a lot of work, but very very important. That said, I have small children. They all cause me headaches. Sometimes I wish I could put them in a box and ship off to anybody who will take them. ![]() I can understand how an adopted parent will feel that it's easy to return the misbehaving child, but just as it's not OK for a biological parent to abandon their responsibilities, I think it's also not OK for an adopted parent. Don't give up! |
Adekamkpe23:It stops being a debate if one side is abusive, don't you think? How is he supposed to respond. The "Senior Special Assistant to the President Buhari on Media and Personality" should have given a coherent, logical, and convincing argument. He had none, so he resorted to the "I'm older/bigger/more powerful than you, so shut up!" tactic. |
I know some women will look at this post, and say "hmmm", but I don't care: Wait... I thought we were in the era of feminism, "what a man can do, a woman can do better", equality, modernity etc. ![]() Why is is OK for a man to work and spend all he has for a woman, but a woman can't do the reverse? Feminist in name only. nntoi! |
Let's asusme it's police (becauase not all flashing hilux are police BTW)... Somebody driving a lambo is surely someone with money and connections. You want the officer to lose his job? If all he collects is slap (and not a hefty repair bill or worse), then it's OK... He will merely recoup his pride by slapping some poor motorist later in the week ![]() |
To be honest, in these days of hardship, robbers, herdsmen, and terrorist, a pump action rifle is what we need to arm ourselves. Not some fake reassurances by police and soldiers who have done little to protect us. If robbers know that I may be packing, they maybe less willing to visit |
cstr55:?? I'm a Christian from South South, and I don't appreciate it when one of my brothers makes careless statements that cost the lives of many more of my innocent brothers, sisters and children. I don't wish it to be so, but the fact is many of them have died because of inciteful comments, usually by people who should know better. Is he going to secure their lives and defend them if the situation gets out of hand? Freedom of speech is quite meaningless if the state cannot guarantee your safety after making statements. Even in the US, there are limits to free speech (i.e. You cannot falsely shout "FIRE" in a crowded theater... you will get prosecuted). You will also lose your job/office for making discriminatory remarks. And if you get too free with your mouth, the justice department will make sure they put a muzzle on it. And if you're black... well the police will just end your life. So nowhere is there this notion of absolute right to expression... It is always moderated, albeit in favour of self-censorship |
Ecosystem4u:So a lot of innocent people are killed by both sides. Is that the solution? How about learning to be respectful and not make inciteful comments? |
