PoliticsRe: Anambra Youth Stone, Boo Ngige’s In Awka by Nightshift(m): 9:45pm On Aug 10, 2013
It shows that Ndigbo are becoming politically savvy by openly displaying their disdain for an anti-poor party of Fashola's elitist leaning.

What Fashola did is comparable to Mitt Romney's 47% blunder. Nigerians must resist elitist capitalists with the heart of devil!
PoliticsRe: Why Enugu Airport May Not Be Profitable by Nightshift(m): 10:59pm On Aug 09, 2013
Only the operating airlines to the Coal city airport will determine its profitability or otherwise.
You the OP have absolutely nothing tangible to say about something that is yet to start. Unless you are one of the vultures at Murtala, who relish collecting 'egunje' from or molesting Igbo passengers. When Enugu takes off, such vultures will loose more than 50% of their dirty-money intake.
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 10:48pm On Aug 09, 2013
For those that complain about unavailability of lands in Igboland, there is no place one will find abundance of land in South East like in areas around Enugu. From Agwu to Udi, Nkanu to Ezeagu areas, massive empty lands for residential or industrial estates are abound.
Some savvy investors are already buying lands even in areas such as Amechi- Idodo and Umulumgbe.
As other ethnic groups in Nigeria become more intolerant toward Ndigbo, more bungalows and duplexes will be springing up in hundreds in areas 30km radius from Coal City - built by returnees.
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 10:34pm On Aug 09, 2013
Personally, no matter the type of development those who call the shots want for Enugu, the city's relatively clean and green environment must be protected.
More tree planting should be encouraged, and laws to protect old trees in the city must be enacted. Those beautiful mango trees in old Enugu ( Iva-Valley, Coal Camp areas around UNTH, GRA , etc), were painstakingly planted by lovers of green environment.
Late C C Onoh took it further by planting many palm trees around his properties at GRA.
The canopy of hills which stretches from Agwu area through Enugu, and ends at 9th Mile area of Udi, is the only such landscape in Igboland. The hill no doubt gave the city its unique name.
PoliticsRe: Lagbaja Responds To Okey Ndibe On “mumudom” by Nightshift(m): 9:35am On Aug 06, 2013
A great musician's unbiased view of a confused society. Your messages are clear like the sounds from your saxophone. But wait, no punch on "mumu" musicians who play for and support those mumu politicians?

I bet your next album will be the bomb!

Car TalkRe: How Nigerians Behave As Car Owners by Nightshift(m): 11:16pm On Aug 04, 2013
Nigerian's old mentality of ' my Mercedes is bigger than yours' has continued to evolve since the 70s oil boom years.
The problem now is, that drivers of cheap Japanese vehicles are claiming to be the new kings on Nigerian roads. Those folks don't realize they aren't got the real machines. Porsche, BMW, Mercedes- Benz and Audi are the real machines! grin
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 10:20pm On Aug 03, 2013
Nebeuwa: Enugu should be our main priority. We must pour funds and locate industries in this city so it can be a fitting capital for the Ndigbo.

The writing is already on the wall.

I didn't realize this until now.
Enugu should not be an industrial city; Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi can fill that position.
Enugu as a banking and tech hub would be more appropriate. The city should remain clean without pollution found in industrial cities. Perhaps like Frankfurt. My take though.
Foreign AffairsRe: Baboons Invade Cape Town Housing Estates by Nightshift(m): 9:34pm On Aug 03, 2013
Cape Town can hire the services of Nigeria's Gov. Fashola; he can help deport the baboons to perhaps Mozambique cool
CultureRe: Nigeria's Regional Monarchs Still Live In Royal Splendour by Nightshift(m): 10:50am On Jul 31, 2013
@Shymexx, so you think that all those powerful African kings were not involved in selling their own people to white men? It's a historical fact that they were the real consumers of white man's whisky and schnapps, who like Oliver Twist , were asking and getting more by sending their army or gangs to raid and capture more people from villages for sale.
You definitely do not understand, until you hear from those current monarchs about the exploits of their forefathers; or study history.
Our mind for history is shallow, so our people prefer to avoid the bitter truth and move on. You are equally following a familiar step - the forgetful African mind!
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 9:55am On Jul 31, 2013
Looks like a VIP lounge, the compact space seems odd for an airport departure hall.
CultureRe: Nigeria's Regional Monarchs Still Live In Royal Splendour by Nightshift(m): 9:44am On Jul 31, 2013
Descendants of African slave merchants, shamelessly paying homage to their age-long trading partner ( the British monarchy) ; the joys of their heart clearly mocking the forgetfulness of African minds.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Crude Oil Earnings Hit N6.7 Trillion In First Half Of 2013 by Nightshift(m): 9:29pm On Jul 29, 2013
Alhaji Umaru Dikko is back to show the ruling party how to spend oil money.
The vultures are , it seems, getting ready to finish what is left of Nigeria.

Gov. Obi is showing some folks the difference between civilizations! He just rightfully showed where Fashola belongs - the club of ethnic bigots!

The way Nigerians are being chased like rabbits across Africa is becoming worrisome. Shall Nigerians with our anaconda start running away from local ladies who like 'em?

Foreign AffairsRe: Bananas Thrown At Black Italian Minister During Speech. by Nightshift(m): 3:07pm On Jul 27, 2013
Italians could be terrible racists, especially the ones from rich north. Italian men like black females, i think mainly for the thing under skirt.
Foreign AffairsRe: Bananas Thrown At Black Italian Minister During Speech. by Nightshift(m): 3:00pm On Jul 27, 2013
Horus: Why fight for Integration and Italian citizenship in a racist country?, let us develop Africa and there will be no need to beg the racists.
I also suggest that we should raise the price of bananas for Italians grin
Bananas in Italian stores are from South America. The ones from Africa are pineapples, from Ghana and Ivory Coast.
Europeans can go to war for Tea, Coffee and Banana. The banana thrower could even be a Nazi.

Bianca can do what her brother GB ( the only former mayor in Nigeria), refused to do.
Though she can not fill the shoes of her father, but she can start where he stopped.

Ada Enugu, she has politics in her blood. She can be a role model to young Igbowomen.
I would personally love to see more of our women in politics, both at state and federal levels.
