I was really shocked when i heard/read the news. This was a guy that had everything going for him, respect amongst his peers and the community, an epitome of what younger ones aspired to be and all that and somehow it had to end this way!!! I guess someday the truth of the whole matter will be known but I believe something just aint right at Akintola Williams, yesterday it was Afribank and today it's Cadbury. I wonder which company will be next. It just goes to show that we have to take Corporate Governance issues more seriously in this country after the debacle of Lever Brothers. May God help us poor investors who take our hard earned money and invest in the stock of these companies based on whatever figures they churn out in their financial statements and the assurances given by the auditors.

I would love to see Buhari enter if for no other reason than to deal with this current set of corrupt leaders who claim "Holier than thou" when in fact they are the worst looters and haters of Nigeria. I just hope the other's like Atk and Ibb would get their acts together and support Buhari, Can you just imagine 8 years of hope down the drain. Anyway God dey.

Sorry bout this o! What can i say? Guess others have already said most of it. Just try to move on, she's made up her mind and i doubt if anything's going to change it. Stop picking her calls and don't even think about replying her texts.Leave her conscience to judge her. Give the gifts to charity or whoever, it doesn't really matter and try to move on with your life. And puleeeaaaase don't lose faith in the opposite sex but just be more prayerful next time. I wish you luck.
She's probably not mocking you but is trying to assuage the guilt she's feeling, in a way she probably wants you to tell her you forgive her and stuff like that so she'll feel a bit better about what she did. Just ignore her and do try to move on.

If she loves you, she'll rather follow you to your church, abeg forget all that s**t, God does not live in churches, He lives in our hearts. If she cant see it that way with you, I'll advice you to let her be (though it might be difficult) but i don't think you want to go out with someone who has her Pastor telling her when to s**t and when to eat. na wah for all these babes sef!!!

I'll advice you to drop it, you can only be soo nice before you start getting other thoughts n by the way who made you Jesus Christ? You can't solve all the problems in the world. Reminds me bout this joke i read somewhere, It goes something like this (I'm not a good story teller so just bear with me)

There is a king somewhere with a very beautiful wife and one of his special assistants wants to taste a bit of the wife's cherry as in she's got very nice pair of tits. So he connives with the king's medecine man and promises to reward him handsomely if that one assists him get to suck the wife's tits, so the medecine man helps him get some stuff on the wife's bra which causes it to itch her. When the King asks him to find a cure he says that the only cure can be found from the saliva of the special assistant so the King has the special assistant sent in and he commences to enjoy himself sucking some nice titties, already the medecine man had given him the cure so after he had enjoyed himself to satisfaction, he applies the cure to his toungue and sucks on her boobs and the itching stops. I think you should just move on with your life and stick with the new girl. What's past is past, thinking about the good old times (though i think this is the good old sex) is not the solution. All that protestation about you being the only guy for her and her not being happy without you is just a ruse to get what she wants. And the thing is @ her age most guys in Nigeria will probably wonder about her past and might be non-commital or just want to string her along for her ride and so she'll be like Y not try to get this guy (yourself) who's probably ready to settle down that go throught all the hassles of a new relationship and not knowing where it will eventually end.

I think you should just tune her out of your mind and focus on the new girl. Just make sure you are sure of what you want 'cos we can all just advise you, in the end it's your decision and you'll live with it for the rest of your life.

They've recruited about 50 people but what i heard is that those ones are for the Abuja region and the other regions will come in later batches. Those recruited are in their second week of the 6 weeks training they are to undergo.

The guy didn't inform us what qualifications he has and what kind of job he is supposed to be doing for 5k and why he is so desperate for a job to even consider the offer at all. I think that will help us advise him better but my own take based on what is that for a graduate, 5k is not worth it unless as some people posted there are other incentives attached and he has no other means of sustaining himself.

It's not always fixed buy i'll say generally by the second week in January it should be out. It has been known to extend to the third week.

I mean entry level staff for graduates!!!!!

Please does anyone have any idea what food companies in Nigeria like Nestle, Cadbury, Guiness and Nigeria Breweries pay their entry level staff?

Hi all, I'm new to the site though i've gone through some of the previous posts. I must give kudos to the originator of the site (Seun I believe) it's a really nice initiative. From what i think i gleaned so far, he decided not to proceed to any higher institution for reasons best known to him (I hope i'm not wrong). Did it occur to y'all that we have people with 2.1's looking for job in this site that was created by someone who doesn't have a first class or 2.1 but who has a first class brain? So i'll implore us all to encourage each other rather than say or write things that will depress others. While not completely disagreeing with people's views that too much hype is placed on paper certificate in this country, we must all agree that it certainly helps if you have better grades and those who are still in school should endeavor to improve their grades if its not too late. I'm employed and i must say i didn't get it through any connection but just through God's grace and the fact that i made a 2.1 which enabled me to be called for different tests. The truth of the matter is that if you don't have a 2.1 or first class, you might not get called for "some" tests but it definitely is not the end of the world, you'll get called for some. I'll encourage those with 2.2 and 3rd class to keep striving and dont give up.We all shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket. You can always do something constructive while waiting for that one breakthrough. Good luck all.
