Life is so short and it scares me. You see someone today, tomorrow he/she is gone forever. The ultimate in life is to give our lives to God wholeheartedly and be rest assured of a better life in heaven.
Rest in the bosom of our Lord Vivianc. Even when we disagreed on the abuse wives and girlfriends thread, you were calm. You didn't go insulting me. In fact, you reinitiated a conversation with me to know how I was doing.
You loved speaking Igbo and wrote it very well too. We will all miss you. Death is so unfair.

HealthRe: Male Infertility!!! Share Your Experience/success Story. by Nogen: 6:46pm On Nov 24, 2013
enkaay: Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Infertility in men is really becoming a big issue and most men would rather live with it than talk about it. Why die in silence when you can benefit from others who have gone through ( and triumphed) male infertility?
A lot of them are suffering from infertility but would rather shy away from it. Some are now fathers to their unbiological children, thanks to the wives who preferred getting pregnant from other men.
Heard of how one Alhaji died of heart attack at a 5 star hospital after the DNA revealed that of all the man's 7 children, only one is his.

An old friend of mine told me how she arranged a custom officer boyfriend for her friend who has been married for 10 years without a child. Few months of sexcaped resulted in the birth of twins. She hanged the twins on the husband's head. On the naming, the husband closed the entire street and slaughtered a cow for the party.
She lied to the custom officer boyfriend that she had to rush home to visit her ailing mother. The man never knew she was pregnant. After a couple of months later, she took in again and disappeared yet again. This time , she gave birth to a singleton. Now, she has severed relationship with the man. While her poor husband is busy fathering the custom officer 's children.

HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Nogen: 10:09am On Nov 23, 2013
egariyi: In medicine, you dont just start with the highest solution. You start with the simpler and smaller methods and where these fails, then yo can move upward.

Mr. Wazo, what is the percentage of good cells, motility and morphology (shape). IUI can only be achieved on motility of 15% and above. If its lower, then consider ICSI. alternatively, you need to do proper investigations and get the problem corrected with medication to enable your wife achieve natural conception.
In medicine , it is also right not to experiment with someone whose medical case has been examined and established. Why allow him to waste money for a IUI and the amount they are asking from him is also high. His case is not for iui, he will be wasting his money and time. He should rather save up like Blendy said and go for ICSI. He is not a candidate for IUI and am speaking from experience . My one kobo advise though.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Nogen: 4:08pm On Nov 22, 2013
wazoboy: ICSI, i realy dont kno dat, can u please guide me on dis?
I just lookd at it now, but t seems more complex dan IUI, and surely it will b more expensive!
For someone with your kind of medical case, ICSI will be a better option because the doctor will have to extract some of your sperm and inject them directly in the eggs(ovum) extracted from your wifey in the lab. When they are fertilised, the very viable ones (2) or one as the case may be will be transferred into her womb. This procedure ensures that the very good and healthy spermatozoa are used.
It is more expensive than IUI.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Nogen: 3:50pm On Nov 22, 2013
Mr Wazo, welcome to the forum. Why don't you consider ICSI instead of IUI. It is a lot better for your case. God will make your wife and you smile soon. Amen

From your write-up, it seems her age is the major grouse.
What? Seriously? She was forced at gun point to pop out kids for him. Anyways, wetin concern me for the matter?

Car TalkRe: Nigeria Women Cant Drive! by Nogen:
Norajones: Its true,,and when u go like "woman watch where u r going"she'll b lyk "idiot go and learn how to drive or u sit @ home or better still u take ublic transport",,,
No, you got it all wrong! That's how I was trying to negotiate a bend one day, I used a traficator to indicate the turn I was to take, ONE MAN STARTED SCREAMING ON TOP OF HIS VOICE, "Madam, I no see your hand, bring out your hand"
Seriously? My hand? What is the work of the trafficator then! I refused to bring out my hand o! Most Nigerian men are the world worst drivers! They don't even understand common road signs!
In May, I went to renew my drivers' licence and we were mandated to take a written test at VIO 's office in Lagos Island. 80% of the men who wrote the exam with me(a woman) FAILED wooefully! While we the women excelled, collected our results and left the bad drivers there.
Op pls, take your time o tongue
Car TalkRe: Nigeria Women Cant Drive! by Nogen: 4:55pm On Oct 31, 2013
runzlord: serously, nigeria women cant drive, they are just to scared, when u see a woman driving note that she is driving with one mind so take minutes before they make a decision on the road. If a woman is in front of you, you would almost cry, they would want to switch lanes, then they change their mind sort off, they become confuse and end of in the middle of the road blocking everybody at her back, and note she does this without traficating, in a nut shell an average nigeria woman drives like a learner or is a learner. Usaully when people drive like that or does not drive well, we at the back would just maintain and conclude it a woman thats driving and when the person finally allow us to pass, truly truly it would be a woman. Ive never be wrong on that. But the case is not like that in orther countries.
I highly sugest women should have their own logo. Like learner is a big "L", women should be hanging a big "W" at the back and front of their car too.
Well, I am a better driver than you are. Mind you, am a woman tongue!

Afam4eva: God punish both Arsena; and chelsea. Useless teams. Useless league. No wonder UEFA pays not attention to that ogbanje league where mediocre teams like chelsea keep winning matches like say tomorrow no dey. Thank God for the UCl where average teams like Basel disgrace and humilate akpu teams like chelsea.

thegoodjoehunt: Mourinho's celebration of the Joe Hart howler that led to the Torres winning goal was just too far. This season just got more interesting. MOURINHO is flying high now but this season will be a shocker to him. Luck isn't skill and Mourinho will learn that this season.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Vs Manchester City (2 - 1) On 27th October 2013 by Nogen: 7:06pm On Oct 27, 2013
Afam4eva: I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Manchester City for a job well done. They controlled the game and made the chelsea players look like headlesss chickens. They can't be blamed by a mistake made by one of their defenders. chelsea are known to capitalize on other people's misfortune to shine in their own myopic way. God punish chelsea this year. They'll never smell any trophy this year. They'll lose to the likes of Stoke, Wigan, Aston villaa at home. Their coach will be sacked before the season ends. They'll change their jersey from blue to black and change their logo to akpu. Useless team.
Bitterness and envy are very bad for your health! Back to sender for all these your prayers! Amen

seza: I have been struggling to write this. So Wifey saw AW on day 12 after implantation and at first we thought it was implantation bleeding, called Dr. Emeka and he said we should wait for the PT. Anyways we waited until after the weekend to do the test and the results took longer because they did quantitative test also. Anyways to cut a long story short, the end result was BFN.
I can say I am past the anger and the disappointment of not having gotten a positive result. My wife of course was distraught but I have to say she has come out stronger and more determined. I always thought the ICSI would be a one hit. God knows why it didn't work this time. Eventually he will come through, he always does, Doesn't he? At least I have seen cases where he has been faithful in this forum and even outside, so why would our own case be any different. It is well. Life continues. God is in control, just a matter of time.
So sorry Sir. ICSI/IVF is not one hit though. Some people get a BFP at the first attempt, some after the first, second etc. Above all, it is God who answers and gives babies after all. Please do take heart and send our love to Madam. Be strong and try again after some rest,God will make the cries of babies be heard in your family! Amen
