Fibel:
looking for an uber / bolt driver partner for a Toks Toyota camry 2009 vehicle.

Due to recent unplanned repairs, driver should be willing to deposit the sum of 120,000 after agreements are reached which will be deducted from his remital every month so as to accelerate repairs for car to be ready by weekend.

Call or WhatsApp 09015108949
Elegant car, but too luxurious for Uber rental fees.

Sell the car and use funds for other biz. If you insist on E-hailing, sell the car still and buy a Toks Honda civic or City....

All these things penalizing drivers for riders' missing items is kinda wrong to me. How do you expect drivers to know of such items when another rider might have taken it or the rider might have even misplaced the items somewhere else?

Not that such items are kept at the driver's custody.
The emboldened is why I have been working on my exit plans. These E-hailing companies can sweep their carpet under you without batting an eyelid.

I mean, how are you sure it's the driver that took the item?. I narrated an ordeal months back, where the rider called back n was insinuating he forgot his wristwatch n I was with it.

Tbh, I was livid with rage, on a normal day, if we met somewhere else apart from ehailng, he wouldn't dare even call to make such damming accusations.... I mean a bloody wristwatch.! for what..?

@ kanuisagoat.

Have they fixed the one way text msging on the app. Riders can only send message, drivers can't reply.

grin. Uber is also a good alternative, I think the best thing is to have all the apps on your phone. I have Bolt and Uber on my phone. Active unblocked account but I hardly put them on.
Baba, you are right o. If time is of importance to you, Indriver is key, 3-4 trips. Gbam, you have made something tangible for the day.

Please any hope for me? What are my chances? Anybody had this same mail before?
Yes, enough hope sef.

Mail them about how the abrupt block will adversely affect your income and those dependent on your income from your ehailng business. E. g Cite school fees to be paid in the next coming weeks, child support etal

Leverage on the family support system, it's really strong in advanced climes. Appeal to the human side.

Use the eu.bolt mail, that gives your mail access to the operatives from Europe.

I'm sure you will be reinstated, though it mite take some time.

@wilybaby. Please, in your opinion, is April already late for planting cassava? ... I plan to clear, do heaps n plant in May.

Someone I want to contract to help in getting Labour for me, has been putting pressure that it's late bla bla. He gave reasons before rain falls and all.

@ wilybaby. Thanks Bro. You have done justice to the questions.
Keep up the good work.
Agriculture › Re: My Cassava Farming Dairy As A Total Beginner by northbird: 6:15pm On Apr 04, 2021
@ wilybaby.

How can you estimate the size of tubers underneath from one heap. Is it the size of the leaves/ canopy formed or the length of the stem.?
Agriculture › Re: My Cassava Farming Dairy As A Total Beginner by northbird: 5:28pm On Apr 04, 2021
@ wily baby, you are not a local farmer o grin.

I appreciate the way you gave a chronicle of the events of your project. Figures and all.

The farmers at my end, if I ask questions, they are just using dyna as a yardstick.

I was like, how will you know if you had a bumper harvest esp if you are to look at the performance of the cultivar one planted ( TME 419 or shine shine Bobo).

I was not even expecting them to give me actual figures, but at least a baseline tonnage, that regardless o... under good mgt practice, an acre should give so.. so n so. Na just dyna figures my people they quote. huh
Agriculture › Re: My Cassava Farming Dairy As A Total Beginner by northbird: 2:37am On Apr 04, 2021
@ wily baby,

1.why are you harvesting during the rainy season? Is it easier to harvest during the rainy season than the dry season?

Or is it a case of waiting to complete the 12 months cycle?

2.If I may ask, from your findings, is there a particular time of the year when cassava is scarce or has more value.

3. From your findings, under normal conditions and good mgt practices, how many tonnes can an acre give one.. Been asking some local farmers here, all they know is Dyna ( mini truck), I need actual figures.....

Preparation for Another planting season start today, I will do just 3-3.5k tomato stand and 2.5-3k cucumber, Also preparing to plant maize and cassava in hectares by may. I booked 20 bags of hundred kg, moving it to farm on point. I have manager now so I'll be more detail than before. I will be posting the vedio to make it More detail, pls encourage my IG and YouTube channel!
Bro, well done for the videos. I know this is not a cassava thread,

Please,a quick one.

is the 20 bags manure for the maize n cassava?

If you plant cassava in May?

1.How many months do you think your cassava will be ready for harvest?

2. How do you get good planting cassava stems( hybrid, disease resistant stems)?

3. Can one plant cassava anytime of the year or there is a specific time?

From your experience, when is the best time to get value from cassava harvest using the cucumber/dry season approach.

Net after fuel deductions and miscellaneous
Wao.. That's a tall order o. shocked that's roughly 100k net dashboard weekly.

You mean you can post net dashboard of at least
396k monthly back to back . (assuming 4k fuel daily, n one day rest) Jan - March.

Suprise the house, let's see Jan and Feb only grin

True talk, on a more serious note what made opay to chicken out? And what's keeping Lyft from coming to Naija?
A lot of reasons.

1. The app was not user friendly. The developers didn't do a good job.
Even a newbie can run through the Bolt app in a matter of hours.

2.Customer care/ support was wack. There was no dedicated email/phone no. for issues.

3. No delineation as per customer support. Everyone was attended to at the same place
If you have ever been to that floor before, it's a mad house.

4. No proper budget for Marketing. If you don't have deep pockets for Marketing, you CANT capture Lagos.

There is a new drink in town now called Commando or so, those guys r on almost every radio station.

But it was a good try from them sha. Bolt sit up fast... grin. Even Uber sef no lose guard, cos Didi chixing is part of their(Opay) investors. It was Didi chixing that gave Uber the boot in China.

@ Kanuisa.
Don't sweat it bro. Bolt has a hand in the ratings, reason why it's not transparent.

Even if they reply you, all you get is the corporate Public relations BS.

On Uber, you can see your ratings, even indriver that just came on board, you can see who rated you and what.....

I noticed if I completed more card trips, my ratings go up grin.

You have not heard the interesting part, I work strictly on bolt.

Bros, people are making money on bolt but only if you can put in the effort.

I pity outsiders reading my posts sha. If they think I just go out spend two hours and come back to 300k every month, they are in for a very rude shock when they join. grin
You have just stated the obvious. Anyone that wants to make Optimum use of hours on the road must use the Bolt app.

Back to the 300k.... You can't make projections without valid data.

As a business concern. Jan-March 2021 Quarterly, you need to have a gross of 1,440,000 before you can confidently say you net 300k monthly.

@ Baz, 001.

Baba you have said it all, earnings on ehailng is potential, there are absolutely no guarantees .

Opportunities abound in Lagos beyond ehailng, one just needs to be bold n shun the fear of failure.

True E-hailing brings in the much needed cash for daily upkeep, but it's not an end for every young man out there.

Save whatever cash you can grab n plan to make ehailng a part time gig.

300k strictly on Bolt and Uber, huh,No offlines, hmmmn.

Moreover, why must you drive yourself to death to make 300k in a month. embarassed

Please can you explain to me , what part of the bridge ? I mean coming from where ?
Dopemu bridge, if you are coming from akowonjo/ dopemu axis to cross over to Agege n environs, after 3pm, you can't use the bridge. The landmark is two metallic beams painted yellow or so at the foot of the bridge.

The Signage is there, but there's a problem, it's at the foot of the entrance, so if you r not observant, you are already inside before you realise what's happening.

Advisory :
Stay sharp and frosty when you are on the mainland.

Drive with mental alertness whenever you are in a terrain you are not familiar with,( even Gmap will lead you astray at that point) follow the regular Keke if you are not sure.
