The truth is you have to pay whether you intend to quit or he gave you a letter to quit.

You can try begging him sha if that will work.

Happy Sunday guys

Lunch is Afang soup cooked with red and yellow pepper served with fresh beef. This part of the beef is the smaller foreleg muscle, it is extra crunchy, and easily dances down your throat in rich crayfishy taste released by fresh palm oil coloured like a Nnewi sunset.

Note the Afang is pounded, not blended. More than worth the effort.

If you are wondering the difference, think Poundo vs Pounded yam.
Receipe pleaseeeeee.

Thankyou

Hello bae, I can see Maria has answered you well. Sorry, I was offline. How did the soup go?
It was very nice, added plenty yellow pepper so it was very pepperish the ogiri added this nice smell/scent/ taste I can't explain ( it sort of had the iru effect). The leaves had their own aroma I think, it was my first time of eating the oha or uziza leaves.

Picture was immediately after cooking, by evening it was thicker and went down with semo.

They both go well, but the red cocoyam tends to thicken the soup more. So, if you're going to use the red type, use sparingly.
Okay, thanks very much sis the red one is not even very commom here.

Both are dark brown /light black in color but the one sold by the igbo women are smallerand the one we cook are bigger.

There's no general hospital at agbara , let me even add down to lusada.

Most people at agbara side use general hospital badagry or Igando general .

Ogun state government is not helping this agbara , Lusada axis at all with the influx from LAGOS to that end it developing very fast, plenty towns on that axis, the roads are bad, no state owned hospital and the govt makes a lot of money from that axis. Very terrible.

Christianity Etc › Re: Virginity Vs Character by NoToPile: 12:01pm On Nov 01, 2020
Loool, the hypocrisy on this thread.

No matter how much you guys want to devalue virginity, it is still the best. Virtginity is just an addendum blablabla na una sabi.

Do what you want to do with your bodies and leave the virgins alone na.

And to think this thread is in the religion section, God expects his children to remain pure till marriage except those that lost theirs though circumstances beyond their control ( rape, peodphila etc) shikena

How people they to twist the word of God amazes me.

There is a reason why Mary had to be a virgin.

Abegi if you are a virgin continue keeping yourself and if you want to stop premarital sex you can still stop.

Family › Re: Olubunmi Kama: My Husband’s Siblings Seized Our Properties After His Death by NoToPile: 11:29am On Oct 30, 2020
Cantonese:
Your judgement is completely one sided.

You did not hear from the man's family. You did not hear from her how she related with her inlaws. You did not hear from her if she encouraged the man to cut off his family? You do not even know whether she charmed the man into marriage with her. Don't forget that some women get juju to make men marry them?

The woman said in her statement that she travelled to be with her mum when her husband was in crisis. That's very sad to hear. Who did she abandon the man for? The siblings obviously covered up for her when she travelled as her children were too young to play the role. I take it that there was no good relationship between her and her inlaws for 13 years and they cut her off in their pain.

The woman then turned sentimental and has tried to blackmail the Igbos. If she married a fellow Yoruba would that not have happened to her? The Yorubas are known to battle it to the last over properties of their deceased sons.

It is very important for women to have good relationships with their inlaws. Do not wish your husband's mother to die. Do not wish to marry a man without a mother. Do not stop a man from relating with his family, especially if the man comes from a united and peaceful home. Do not carry the war in your own father's house to your husband's home. Try to make good friendships with two or more of your husband's people. In the sad case of a loss or battle for properties, your friend's within your husband's siblings will fight for you.

Yorubas prefer to marry Igbo men because they feel better taken care of. You may verify that. Please erase your sentiments and let's all live in peace.
Why did you omit the pregnant with twins part?

And you just assumed he didn't develop the sickness after she left.

Those saying she abandoned her husband when he was sick,i don't know how some of you read!
She travelled to be with her mum when she was close to give birth. It is not stated that the husband was sick at that time.He most likely developed a crisis after she had left.

By the way,is that why she would even be denied access to her husband's remains in the mortuary and even denied burial presence?Uwa mmebi.
Lool you even have time to explain, they didn't see the part where she was pregnant with twins and needed to be taken care of too.

They should continue justifying barbaric acts of their people.

I was in the said burial a d witnessed everything that happened.
1. The man died mysteriously in the house with wound on his head and the wife and children never told the man's brothers after 24hours but hurried him to the mortuary.
2. The man was a retiree of CBN a d pays the wife N100k and children N50k each every month but they starved him of food. It's his brothers that feeds him.
3. This same daughter asked his out of their house when he came to ask them why they beat up their father.
4. The said girl is in Law School and still behaves stupidly.
5. The man built a house but the wife a d children insisted that he'll be buried behind the house which his immediate brothers and kinsmen object that he be buried in front of his house.
6. Despite the money given to the woman she cooks with firewood upstairs.
7. The woman and children were asking the man's Will to be read while the corpse was still in the mortuary.
8. Anyone that cares should come to Oguta, Imo State to verify for himself or herself.
So you are saying they killed their father?

How did you know how much they are giving to wife and children

Is it culturally wrong to bury someone at the back of his house as long as its the same compound

Nothing is wrong with your boy...

Tell your wife to stop beating him, he will not learn by beating and shouting... Go to the school and talk to the class teacher to help you put more efforts in teaching him...

I will also advise you change the school and also confirm that the boy is not passing through stress, A child of 3yrs old should not be spending more than 5hrs in school (8am to 1pm)

I hope your wife is not the type that drops him off in school as early as 7am and pick him up by 5 or 6 in the evening?

Try and see things through by yourself... Sometimes all in the struggle to make ends meet, we tend to do it at the expense of the care and conducive environment that this innocent kids need.

Thank you.
You have raised an important most of these private schools that have little kids hardly provide the right environment for this children, they are not even supposed to be in a 'school structure' till primary 1 maybe. They should be in a sort of home/school learn/play environment and very few preschools, nursery, creche provide that.

A child of that age should be able to have nap time, watch cartoons, take a bath , things he can easily do at home. You now take a little child to a school where he can't even rest and he will stay there for 7-8 hours, the child will be so stressed.

I understand that we parents have to work hard but the least we can do is take those children to a place that has a homey feel.

Stop beating the boy baba, he won't learn anything that way, its like you are forgetting these children stayed at home for 6 whole months lost the whole of third term and some weeks in 2nd term. Learning should be fun for his age now, he can read numbers, he would get the letters too.

Besides at that age they are still working on his writing skills lots of 3 year old can't write well, their writing skills are still being worked on, some are even still scribbling.

Leave the boy ooo ehen.
