New shipment of drive belts just arrived. When serpentine belts break they can also flap around and cause A LOT of damage to the engine.

Stop buying poor quality belts when good ones with warranties are available for N5,000 up.

Es300 and ES330 are same body anyway, they just chuck 1mz in one and 3mz in the other.

Anyway for same car type like highlander, sienna, ES Lexus, 2GR 3.5L V6 has better fuel economy than 3mz 3.3L V6 which has a better fuel economy than 1mz 3.0L V6 don't be fooled by the displacement

Still depends on what engine is in the car though it isn't mostly the regular 1zz or 2zz we see in the international Corolla or the Asian Corolla.

It's a 4 cylinder those Corolla never made it to V6 stock from manufacturer.

Corolla Europe. Take care of the engine very well as the 1.4L is hard to source in Nigeria.

Hello everyone.

I have an ES330 which I got earlier this year.

Since i got it I always had shock absorber issues, It makes noise both in the front and back when in gallops, I have changed the shocks twice using both tokunbo and new set, It works but after a while it get spoilt.

Another issue

The CD is jammed with one CD inside, When i switch on the car, it makes a kind of noise, It also shows that the disc loaders are full
This happened after I changed the battery and some circuit breakers.

Bad shocks cause serious vibration and bouncing. Noise when in gallop is caused by other suspension components like bushings, linkages etc. But physical inspection can lead to appropriate diagnosis.

As for the CD loader, a radiocian should solve your issues not a mechanic.

My wife went for a routine service of our 2010 Highlander with i4 engine yesterday. The mechanic assigned one of his apprentices to handle it. So, today, she wasn’t observing anything wrong in the suv until it failed accelerate well while on speed. She said it was difficult to stop along the route, for her own safety so she kept moving, until it eventually stopped. Then she noticed that there were traces oil spillage trailing along her path. When a helping hand arrived, they noticed that the oil filter was no longer in place. They put another oil and the oil filter, there was no oil remaining in the engine as at the time it stopped. It didn’t start despite replacing the oil. The mechanic that inspected it said that the engine is damaged.
Please how best can I fix the vehicle? It’s in ogun state. Thank you.

Technically I expect the 2.7L i4 in the vehicle to have a good low oil switch off mechanism, find a second opinion but with what you described, the engine don knock be that, as in the engine has given up the ghost. Solution rebuild or replace engine

haggling, I have a client that wants to go to lekki from ikoyi, anybody plying that route has money to dish out (data) I bill you 10k and the customer says too much, he/she is only willing to pay 4k, then I say too low, if you can pay 6k, customer says too much that he/she has only 4k cash but inorder not to delay customer is willing to add 1k but through transfer (haggling), you accept it as an learning curve so next time you know what it's worth to move goods and services from ikoyi to lekki and vice versa.

if the business is in Nigeria don't bother, charge pay as you go

Honda pilot because the parts are cheaper and more original to acquire, it is a very good knock about vehicle compared to the rest.
The Honda also has good mechanic to fix any issues on ground, what's more blends well within the environment.

pick the highlander 4 cylinder if you are all about fuel economy.

XC90 too is a good solid SUV though not as maintenance friendly in the technician department but solid rock.

Good vehicle if you can get a direct LHD because it is the sienna of europe and mostly available in RHD.

Though I think the 2az in it shouldn't give issues as compared to those in the American market.

Both are 4 cylinder

LE = luxury edition

XLE = extra luxury edition.

XLE has more accessories than LE that's the difference, now the accessories should justify why you are paying higher for one.

Number 4 is a no no, never switch gear to Neutral when ever you loose control of vehicle, rather downshift to allow engine braking decrease your speed.

very easy to know sports package, a button would be available in the center console that can be used to adjust the suspension settings then another button to switch mode of drive for the vehicle
