From my understanding of the term 'bad belle', it entails that I have to be either beefing or wishing someone bad. But I struggle to see who this is in this case.

Adamawa State Government has started a free feeding programme for students of its boarding secondary schools.

The state Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, spoke about the programme on Monday in Yola while receiving members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) who were led on a solidarity visit to him by its governorship candidate in the 2019 general election, Sen. Abdul-Azeez Nyako.

Fintiri said the feeding of boarding secondary school students has commenced in nine schools and would be extended to cover all the 52 boarding schools in the state in the near future.

Governor Fintiri also announced that all forms of school fees will be abolished from September so that parents would no longer be bothered with school fees.

Fintiri spoke days after the report of a baseline research into causes of high rate of out-of-school children in the state recommended free education among others, after noting that many students drop out of school at the point of sitting for final examination because of inability to pay the fee for such examination.

The governor said the gestures of his government were meant to make quality education conveniently available to all the people of the state, adding that, “Our plan is to make sure that government schools can compete with private schools in quality of education in the state.”

Fintiri welcomed the ADC delegation on its solidarity visit and said his administration was available to take advice from all citizens irrespective of the party they are in.

Earlier in his speech, the ADC delegation leader, Abdul-Azeez Nyako, said he and his party members paid Governor Fintiri the solidarity visit because Fintiri and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had been carrying the ADC along.

“ADC as a party wants to assure you of support; we will not heat up the polity for you,” Abdul-Aziz assured Fintiri.

Abdul-Aziz Nyako was the third most popular governorship candidate in the last governorship election after Fintiri who won the election, and then APC’s Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow who trailed Fintiri.

The Lagos-Ibadan Railway is no news to Nigerians especially to people in Lagos, Abeokuta, and Ibadan. The project which is a brainchild of the federal government of Nigeria is finally heading to a logical end.

Once again I ask you, how exactly did you identify the person the chopper came to pick up?.... For this unidentified passenger, how did you come to this conclusion that the person must be a politician or a political leader? Cos that's all you seem to be talking about.

You're obviously bitter and harbour a prejudice against whoever it is that that chopper came to pick, even though you dont know the person.. You clearly need help!

I dont know you, but the reason I teased you about working hard is because, I'm positive that if you had a certain level of affluence, you wouldnt automatically concluded that the person that chopper came to pick must be linked to politics.

And as for me taking selfies, yes! if I was there, I would surely have taken a selfie because it's an interesting and unusual sight to see a chopper land on the expressway to pick someone, especially in Nigeria; I would love to have a picture memory of it, and that has nothing to do with me hailing or admiring anyone. Even in the most developed countries, people would quickly pull out their phones to take selfies if they saw this...

Meanwhile, God has already blessed me with considerable wisdom. I could use some more though, but not because you say so.

A very big lesson here. I prefer to refer to him as a nameless nigerian billionaire . That is exactly how they excuse themselves from the problems they created. They refuse to build us wider and better roads and left thousands of people stranded on a high way and when they couldn't bear it, he called what is completely out of the reach of most Nigerians to take him away. If we don't use our God given senses, we will forever be ruled to death. Exactly hat they will do when there is a problem. Helicopter services will just be picking and dropping them and their families in safe places.

You dont even have to be a millionaire to afford such. Just know the company that offers it and pay them.

Of course it would be difficult for a southerner to achieve it cos the greatest opposition to devolution is the north. But then, 'difficult' doesn't mean 'impossible'. If GEJ was serious about it and not just using it as election strategy left till the last minute, good progress would have been made.

That being said, for all those who keep saying it's impossible because of the opposition from the north, nothing else could be further from the truth. The real reason we still practice unitary government system till date is due to the zero focus of the south and the foolishness of the south uniting to push for it. We cant blame the north for taking advantage of the disunity of the south, can we?

Just the way the Brits call coke and fanta fizzy drinks, and the Americans call them soda, we in Nigeria call them 'mineral' drinks, and there's absolutely nothing wrong in that. People still dont reqlise that Nigeria houses one of the largest population of English speakers globally.

There's nothing wrong with those buses being termed 'Luxurious Buses' in Nigeria; it's just the Nigerian nomenclature. Increase in oil price should wait until Dangote and the others complete their refineries. Else whilst other oil countries would be enjoying the benefits, Nigeria would br busy spending all the profits on expensive fuel imports and subsidy.

All these server controversy is just confusing. INEC claims they have a server but didnt use it, PDP claims they saw a result inside the INEC server which gave them a wide margin win. Abeg who we go believe? If INEC didnt do electronic transmital of results, how then did PDP hack out results from a server?
