Typical Nigerian mentality:
Man smokes = Irresponsible, wayward, criminal, gangster
Woman smokes = Ashawo (straight away)
Woman drinks beer (green bottle) = Irresponsible, ashawo etc.

Typical case of man's inhumanity to man. I can bet the funds to sufficiently feed the kids was released. But in the usual African fashion, chunks of it keep getting cut-off by people at the top (who are actually well fed), and by the time it gets down the triangle to the kids, nothing is left.

The typical naija man in authority sees everything as an opportunity to hammer.

2 questions boggle my mind:

1. How can someone release such amount of money to strangers without proper confirmation and re-confirmation?

2. How could the scam agents receive such amount, yet still hung around till they were caught?

Senate presidency is even nothing, an Igbo man could have been PRESIDENT of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2015, or latest in 2023, if GEJ (supported overwhelmingly by Igbos) did not break the PDP's zoning formula in 2011. Vincent Ogbulafor the then PDP chairman's political career was murdered when he dared to stop GEJ from contesting in 2011 for this reason.

All that is history now. At the end, if even Ekweremmadu who has been DSP for ages could not influence GEJ to fix the Onitsha-Enugu road, what would an Ngige senate presidency even achieve?
