tiwasiaife: I was with him that night bfre the decamping and strongly advised him against making such a suicidal move but he was of the opinion that Ogbonnaya onu was the brain behind his decamping that he was promised an appointment so as to add to his profile since he has not got any in PDP.Its of a personal decision and not that of collective interest Some of these people in the pictures were invited by me to make up the number. Frankly speaking it was a show of shame. If there's a general notion that pdp=apc, so why is it a wrong move if a politician decided to join the other side of the same coin? |

ScotsReferendum: Okonjo Iweala asked some group of Yoruba graduates in Lagos that if President Buhari pledges to give each of them 30,000,000 million naira interest free non refundable business grant to establish manufacturing businesses that can produce the things imported into Nigeria base on one condition. Which is to produce a workable and marketable prototype of anything imported into Nigeria.
Can any of them produce any of those products imported into the Nation.?
Fellow Nigerians see confusion on their faces.
Imagine one mentioned bread making while another mentioned liquid soap and antiseptics.
So I put it to you guys and ladies out there
Can you produce a workable and marketable prototype of any of the things imported into Nigeria in order to get this business loan?
The challenge is up to you people especially those of you who blame Jonathan past admnistration daily for your unemployment situation.
Just don't view the topic but say something before you leave
Thanks. This question/challenge should be to all Nigerians generally. I'm not sure I understand why it has to be sectionalised or tribalised or politicised. |

It is not correct. Tell me, who is not marginalized under this administration? Anyway, the two most powerful individuals running the country’s economy today, rightly or wrongly, are Igbo. The Minister of Budget and National Planning is an Igbo man, the Adviser on Budget is an Igbo man, and the CBN governor is an Igbo man. So, only the Minister of Finance is not Igbo. So, if they think they can continue to make irresponsible demand from the national patrimony, of course, let them go ahead. At some point, all things must come to a certain end. And I don’t lose sleep over certain demands made by some people. The way in which core northerners assume everybody down south is Igbo is amusing. |

1) Stay on their own and face Fulani herdsmen terrorism
2) Join Biafra and together confront Fulani herdsmen terrorism. How exactly do they join Biafra?... How exactly can a Christian community like Chibok in Borno state or a Christian community in Kebbi state join Biafra?... Can you please throw more light on this? |

tete7000: When you separate Nigeria, how do you protect the minority muslim christians in the north that will be left at the mercy of blood-thirsty northern muslims? Maybe you think those people are easterners? They are not, they are indigenous northern christians. You know I keep asking this same question every time I read through comments on threads like these suggesting secession as a solution to the marauding Fulani vampires. How exactly can the secession of the SE or even the entire southern Nigeria protect the lives of the indigenous Christian communities spread across the north?... Anyway, I got a response from someone today, he says if the SE successfully secedes, it would catalyse a chain reaction forcing the country to split into numerous little enclaves; of which southern Kaduna may then be able to easily form their own nation free from the troubles of the Fulanis. He didn't mention however whether a great wall of China may have to be built around the new country of Southern Kaduna to prevent the marauding herdsmen from trespassing. |

Yujin: Though your analysis makes sense on the surface level, it still doesn't invalidate his suggestion. Firstly, a biafra will help them understand clearly the need to seek a quick dissociation from the vampiruous fulanis. Fighting against biafra with the hope of Igbos being a check and balance just as you the Yorubas hope is just an exercise in futility. Hear me clearly. Today, biafra is yet to be achieved and they are being wiped out without any of such check and balance you talked about. At this rate, in few years to come, the hausa/fulanis would be in full control of Kaduna state and the worst will happen to them. Similar situation will play out in Yorubaland if you continue antagonising Igbos on their quest for Biafra. We won't abandon it and eventually, we will get it. We've got the population, wealth and international players to actualise it. Think deeply man. The southern Kaduna guys and indeed the whole middle belt must stop antagonising those calling for Biafra, rather they should openly declare their decision to stay separately from the murderous hausa/fulanis. They certainly will get our support and not the other way round. It will never help. While I agree with you, I would like to point out one thing, not every one who doesn't support the secession idea is a Yoruba man; I am not a Yoruba man, I am a core Igbo man who just doesn't buy into the Biafran idealogy especially regarding the way it has been peddled since last year's election. Thanks! |

Knowledge9000: Yes. Biafraa is not only SE, includes a huge chunk of SS. Go on youtube are see millions marching in support of Nnamdi Kanu in Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers and Bayelsa. Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa-Cross and even Benue makes sense, but I'm still yet to get a proper explanation how the actualisation of Biafra would have saved the lives of these people in southern Kaduna. If there's anything I know from my personal encounters with people of this region, it is that they do not wish the country breaks because if that happens, there would be no check and balance against the murderous Fulani invaders and the entire Christian communities in the north would be annihilated. Please get your facts right and show some empathy, this is not the best time to mock bereaved people for not supporting your cause especially as your cause puts them at risk of extinction. |

Knowledge9000: WHERE IS YOUR SENSE? Biafraa going means, Southern Kaduna having their own country...yes their own country because Kaduna is one hell of a big state, and Benue...they are slaughtering largely Christian dominated Idomas, they can decide to go with Biafraa since they are a member of the 12 Biafraan clans or be on their own. Luxembourg is only 500k people. Idomas are over 8 million. To answer your question, my sense is still much intact, and that is why I asked thtmat question. So are you saying if the SE breaks out, it automatically gives every state and LGA or tribe in Nigeria the liberty to equally break out and form their own country?? |

If you don't mind, please include the report on Sanusi's theft and query as the CBN Governor showing the date vis-a-vis his forever changing allegations against NNPC. Funnicator: Obailala fizznation modath sarrki and other shameless dolts have sold their soul. Never would you see me defending rubbish, get that into your thick skull, I am not like you and your pathetic co-travellers. While you celebrate this report which indicates that a similar sleaze which earned your hero the 'corruption' tag is also ongoing presently, I will point out what you can expect differently from what was obtainable in that past regime you shamelessly defend. For starters, Buhari the president would never jump on TV and start calling the CBN governor (or whoever 'the group' is) names on national TV even before he reads the report. We would never get a repeat of the embarrassing past where the president would pounce on whoever reports/exposes such irregularities and gives them sack letters or letters of suspension. We wouldn't also have a case of the president becoming apprehensive and jumping into defensive mode as if to say the whistle-blower was directly accusing him of pocketing the money. Finally, unlike the former 'America will know' dude who blatantly denied on TV that no kobo could be missing from NNPC (even before a single investigation was conducted), the difference this time is that the current president will not fight tooth and nail to throw this case away. |

Rad1cal: Your lenghty post was sadly very empty and superficial. The allegation in this report hasn't been robustly rejected by this admin since April this year and your Sanusi example just revealed you lacked focus in defending this sleeze.
A CBN governor with proof won't go from $48 billion to $ 20 billion then finally to $ 12 billion. I wonder how that is proof to you. Your highligted quote above even showed how confusing your post was.
Look at the inference below and weep at your attempt to justify this heist while seeking to use the GEJ era as a measuring template. Just to clarify what you wrote above, Sanusi wasn't an idiot and he articulated his points very clearly without ambiguity. SLS said about $49 billion was 'unaccounted for,' meaning that no evidence was provided by the NNPC to the CBN on what it did with the money. After the dust was raised, NNPC was forced to provide further documentation and explanations which later led to the review of that figure to $20 billion. The story at the time was very clear, but for the sake of politics, so many people bluntly refused to comprehend it even till date. Fact remains that SLS wasn't an idiot just blabbing. |
