Eastfield1:If you can read/discern, you should have understood my simple point from the comments on this thread and many others where ignorant folks keep blasting oby for no other reason than for the gej connection. The reason she's been blasted is obvious and you cannot try to twist that narrative. As for the ethnic thing, or the claims of ethnic blasting, if i am blasted for my political choice, I will simply return the fire. You ignorantly claimed that i always insult igbos; point of correction, I blast PEOPLE who insult me or people like ngige, rochas, oby etc for our political choices. In every single instance i have mentioned the word igbo, i never for once generalised it, I always narrowed it down the the ignorant set of intolerant beings who keep blasting others for having a different choice. If that isnt clear to you, then I'm sorry I cant help you. People must learn to be tolerant and accommodating of people of divergent views. And yeah I would say it again, just like you have claimed to have been on NL for ages, I hav personally maintained my ID on nairaland for close to 10 years and you must think I am very stupid to be faking who i am or my ethnicity for close to a decade on a faceless forum. But then, common sense isn't as common... gd morning |
Eastfield1:A multitude of ur ilk have been abusing Oby of being a disgrace to the Igbo nation simply because she blasted your GEj, that's what this thread is all about by the way. Obviously her crime is not licking the feet of Jonathan like the majority, hence she's been labelled a disgrace to Igbos by you and your ilk. If you dont understand what I meant by emotional beings making irrational senseless attacks on the person of Oby, then you obviously dont deserve a further response. And yeah, I am a Nigerian devoid of any form of hatred for any tribe, I can only detest a person because of the person's inherent wickedness or stupidity, but would never extend my judgement to his/her entire tribe. And yes again, just for your info, I am not a yoruba person like many daft people I have interacted with on this forum think. I am more Igbo than most of the dimwits who come here spewing foolishness and claiming to be more Igbo than others all because of some silly political preference. If you arent comfortable with my political preferences, you should do the honorable thing by staying off my mentions and letting me be instead of joing the host of daftos on this forum who think anyone thinkinh differently must be yoruba. Thanks |
Noted... Still wondering where the administrator of AIT's facebook page got that info from. Even notable propaganda sites like trentonline, igberetv etc refrained from publishing the story. |
Buhari why? |
NgeneUkwenu:Their case is totally irredeemable; I think I really need to give up. |
PapaBrowne:Lol... A Jonathan who we also had similar blackouts in his time is the best person out of 170million Nigerians who you think should return to solve a problem which he couldnt solve for 5 years despite the record amount of income his government was blessed with. PapaBrowne, I hail you. |
asuustrike2009:First of all, did you hear Oby's voice in that so called radio programme or is it some baseless hearsay?... I need an answer cos if you follow the times, you should have known that the so called statement was faked by shameless detractors; even Vanguard Newspaper has issued a public apology to Oby this morning in that regard for claiming she made the statement. Now even if Oby made the statement, what bearing does that have on anything?... As an educated person, shouldn't she have the right to her own opinion again?... Why the needless insults on her person from frustrated jonathanians?... election nor dey finish for una side? You just stated for the second time that 'northerners no dey criticise their own.' I'm seriously wondering what that has to do with anything cos as you rightly said, GEJ isnt even Igbo and today the people criticising and abusing Oby are Igbos. Can't you see you are getting confused? ![]() |
Eastfield1:Mr Adult, I wasnt speaking to you when you jumped in to air your opinion about me. I do not have any problem with GEj, and I have no problem with any tribe... I only have a problem with the overly emotional gej followers who have refused to grow up and move on with their lives following the election. If you had half the maturity or wisdom you pride yourself to have, you should have seen that my message was simply targeted at some frustrated people who keep insulting an innocent madam Oby for no other reason than for her selfless engagement in a noble cause. To he whom brain is given, sense is expected. Thank you... |
asuustrike2009:Well, my error if you aren't... but my message was targeted at those intolerant misfits who think Oby has no right to be called an Igbo person simply because she lashed out against gej their hero. |
Curlieweed:She doesnt need your opinion or endorsement of her actions or of her religious believes. |
Eastfield1:Can you kindly shut the fvck up and get out of my mentions... The woman being denigrated all over the place by pathetic souls is a hardcore Igbo woman who has achieved 100 times more than what the nimcompoops mocking her can ever dream of. To some of you obviously, Igbo virtue means worshipping gej. |
Decibel:Only depraved minds think she is being disgraced. She doesnt need the endorsement of such characters. |
kutchs:She was a nuisance to GEJ and his supporters, she is presently a nuisance to Buhari's government. That she is a nuisance to succesive Nigerian governments, it means there is something she's doing right for the voiceless masses. The real people that need to move on are the multitude of jonathanian disciples who have refused to move on with their lives over a year after their election loss but rather choose to keep vomitting tantrums and misguided aggression everyday at a woman engaged in a noble cause. |
kettle84:How does rochas joining ApC amount to betraying his people?... because you love pdp or hate apc, you therefore want to forcefully impose your beliefs on everyone?... that's a pathetic mindset, rochas has a right to join or belong to any political party he wishes. Oby has also been labelled a betrayer of her people by some nincompoops only because she chose to fight for the rescue of kidnapped kids; she's been labelled all sorts of unprintable names by ediots who are still angry with her because she dared to speak up against their hero gej. Oby certainly doesnt need her actions to be endorsed by these sort of lowlives. Her reward is definitely from above. |
asuustrike2009:A lot of Igbos like yourself have been the disgrace to the Igbo nation not Oby... Nowhere in the world has speaking up against the plight of the downtrodden been ascribed as disgrace except in the warped, depraved, sick minds of ipob Igbos who have refused to move on with their lives after Jonathan lost an election. Oby certainly doesn't need the support of those sort of misfits. |

EdDave:Every single problem from shipping companies pulling out to airlines being unable to buy fuel and therefore relocating, to industries closing down etc have all been linked to just one problem, lack of forex. That is what happens when a nation relies on only one unstable commodity for its entire income. The vulnerability of the so called 'giant of africa' has simply been exposed with the drop in oil prices. Maybe we would learn a lesson or two from this as a nation going forward. Any person who really thinks there is a quick fix to this problem, probably a magic spell that would conjure forex from wonderland, such a person must be a dreamer. |
datola:The bolded statement above is exactly what got us to the economic cesspit we are in today as a nation. A country made N51 trillion in 5 years from oil alone and within this period, roads were not built, power was not fixed, instead of growing the savings and foreign reserves, national reserves crashed monumentally ironically at the time the country made the highest income ever. The reasons behind this anomaly are clearly highlighted in the bolded statement above, every idiot close to power was squandering national wealth, flying first class, purchasing or leasing private jets etc. It's appalling how any human with a brain can possibly highlight the above bolded statement as an achievement. |
Doghari:Gbafuo gaa ñuo ogwu gi... |
Emmaoga:Fact is that for the umpteenth time, the woman has been vindicated. You can keep insulting your mother over and over again simply because you cant get over a mere election loss. Go and seek psychological help before you completely lose it. As for Vanguard newspaper, I think it's high time someone sued their asses and made them cough out some damaging sums. They know exactly how imformation flows, they release false news like smoke into the atmosphere and then return 2 days later to retract and apologise knowing fully well that the slanderous story can never really be retracted from the minds of people. |
Doghari:Go and take your drugs.. |
DabuIIIT:It's all over the net doesn't mean it is authentic news. What's the reputation of the websites carrying the story? |
adeusolu:It goes both ways you know... could be true or it could be false. If the story is false, the presidency would have rightly debunked it, but thats only if they've heard of it. Note that this story emanated since yesterday but it still hasnt gone viral yet... On the other hand, if the story is true, how come nobody has reported it since yesterday?... I only saw this on the facebook page of AIT, even the main AIT website doesnt have this story. |
dukie25:I'm curious to know why this story was not reported by any single Nigerian newspaper or reputable media organisation, except on the facebook page of AIT. Not even the AIT website conveyed this story and since the uproar was raised yesterday, not a single person, not even the facebook handler of AIT nor the government has come up to clarify this. |
YouthsPC0:Information dissemination in this country is horribly faulty. I'm curious to know why this story was not reported by any single Nigerian newspaper or reputable media organisation, except on the facebook Timeline of AIT. Not even the AIT website conveys this story and since the uproar was raised yesterday, not a single person, not even the facebook handler of AIT nor the government has come up to clarify this. |
Agimor:"I am a proud gay paedophile - Agimor" Imagine reading the above statement on the pages of a national daily tomorrow, and then when you voice out against the newspaper, someone comes up and advises you to transfer your aggression to GEJ.... Just pause for a second and imagine how senseless such an advice is. |
Frustrated mumus since last year have been venting their anger on this woman but she has ignored the imbeciles completely. Now they've resorted to use her name to create false reports and several colleagues of these imbeciles don't see anything wrong in creating fake stories with someone's name. |
cocoduck:It is called a 'wake up call'. I wouldn't help you use your own God given brain. If you choose not to wake up and use your own wisdom at least as an educated and enlightened person, you are free to keep sleeping. You can as well join the uvwie youths patrolling the streets looking for companies, shops and businesses to extort money from on a daily basis. When the companies refuse to 'tender', you are free to brutalise the personnel and vandalise/loot their equipment. By 12 noon, you can also join the boys roaming the streets from one company canteen to the other 'obtaining' free food; after all the companies are making free money in your community while you have no job so it's your inalienable right to harass the investors. After all that, when your eyes are momentarily opened to the damage done by the justified acts of 'fighting for your rights,' you can easily blame Hausas and Yorubas and Igbos for taking away the investors from your hitherto thriving land. Meanwhile you are free to keep waiting for me to help you use your number 6. |
cocoduck:It is not my duty to help you use your own brain and wisdom. All I can do is to help you think, regarding the question I asked earlier, those youths who vandalised shoprite warri, does that help or damage the economy of the city? ... Just FYI in case you aren't aware, shoprite isn't an oil company, they are just foreign investors. |
NOETHNICITY:Half of the people making those ignorant comments have never stepped foot out of their clans and have absolutely no idea what happens in the niger delta. |
Standing5:Limiting the victimisation and extortion of non-community members ended a very long time ago. Today both indigenes and non-indigenes aren't spared from the madness. Even government is spared, the govt has to settle the boys before they even carry out developmental projects. It's just insane and it has reduced the town to a pile of mess. The people shouting government marginalisation or resource control on this thread sit comfortable in their villages making sorry assumptions, they have no clue what has been going on in warri. |
signz:This report talks specifically about warri, if only you have a good knowledge of that town, you would understand that the mess going on there which has reduced the town to a desolate wilderness doesn't even have anything to do with the general Niger-delta resource control struggle. We are talking of a large number of criminal minded lazy youths who aren't interested in working but who just go about extorting any and everyone (both indigenes, non-indigenes and foreigners) and the people who should speak up choose to be quiet and cheer the madness with some baseless excuses of oil. For starters, Warri town doesn't even produce oil, I would be glad to know where the oil wells in the entire Warri South LGA, Uvwie or Udu LGAs are. But somehow, youths in the town seem to agitate and harass businesses more than youths from oil producing communities. There is hardly any business or company in the city that is allowed to thrive, thanks to the youths who keep agitating and extorting companies (both oil and non-oil coys) for God knows what. Last december shoprite was attacked and looted, I would suppose that was also part of the youths agitating for resource control by harassing investors?... Even the govt. isn't spared in the madness; if govt acquires a land and wants to build a hospital, it would have to settle 'youths' in the areas first. This is the exact attitude that killed the seaport in the town, the extortion faced by businessmen using the port forced them to run away to less demanding environments (today the theory from some is that hausas and yorubas killed the port). The point here is that the problem totally has nothing to do with oil. |
