BossGerald: Simon ekpa the self acclaimed leader of a defunct secessionist group, auto pilot, has been given order by the Finnish government as seen by the official document released by Garba shehu, media aide to president buhari administration.
From the letter,
Following complaints by Nigerians in finland and the Nigerian government about your various pronouncement, using social media outlets, to impose sit at home in nigeria, you are hearby warned to desist from such nefarious activities, which are capable of disturbing the peace and causing bloodshed.
In the second to last paragraph of the letter, Simon ekpa was ordered to call off the sit at home order publicly in 48hrs or risk being arrested and charged for international terrorism.
Here is the letter below
For some reason the letter reads like it was authored by a Nigerian.
CR777: I never thought I would ever say this ABOUT Buhari but God please protect Buhari because despite suffering us for almost 8 years, it feels like he is trying to redeem his already battered image at the dying minutes with his recent policies.
Shoutout to everyone who thought elections won't hold in South east because of one efulefu called Simon Ekpa who we all know is used by one drug baron to cause unrest in the southeast, haha I no call any name or but I know you already know who.
For some reason, the letter actually reads like it was written by a Nigerian.
maasoap: And Obi himself hasn't been buying votes since he joined Nigeria politics? You need small sense. Unknown party with unpopular candidate thinks he has a chance against two mighty and biggest parties in Africa fielding two political heavyweight? You need little sense.
You seem to be the one who actually needs sense URGENTLY! ..and lots of it actually!
Despite the overwhelming evidence before your eyes, how can any normal person still come publicly to regurgitate such rubbish that OBI is 'unpopular'?
Obviously in your worldview, popularity must entail an agbada wearing rogue throwing stolen funds about to buy votes, buy INEC, buy the police, buy the army and even the judges?
Obidient1: Nairaland poll _LP sure PETER OBI should be declared the next President ASAP before they PDAPC come up with their frudulent rigging plan, let's at least manage our resources by just declaring PETER OBI winner.
Sometimes the results of these polls worry me cos the recurring LP wins would be sending chills down the spines of PDAPC folks. With these gangsters being scared, they would have given up on winning the election through normal voting means and by now must be planning the mother of all riggings...
wegevv: Firstly you’re entitled to your opinion. But the scientific poll done by bantupage disagrees with you.
Secondly, you made a valid point about “shy voters” in the undisclosed/undecided population. It is possible but various western studies have shown that the effects of this is usually minimal. It also tends to be regional.
It might be taboo for a Core Northerner to admit that they are voting for Peter Obi in Sokoto just like it might be taboo for a South Easterner to admit that the support Tinubu in Anambra
What you said makes a lot of sense. I've always wondered why these polls returned lots of 'undecided' voters. But now it makes sense - some people feel shy to menion who they actually intend to vote for, especially given the sentiments in their immediate environment. Undecided voters in the SE are likely people who feel shy/embarassed/afraid to openly say they're voting Tinubu/Atiku. Likewise in the northern areas, undecided votes may very likely be people who feel shy/embarassed/afraid to say they're voting OBI.
Hoelujohn: What is difficult in him getting 25% in Ogun state? I teach in a school where about 80% of the pupils are Yorubas. Infact I will do something now. I will ask them to write down the party the parents are supporting. I will update soon These are for three classes and all pupils are 9+. One of them tried to write twice , that was the cancelled one. The "smartest" class of them wrote in the 3rd column.
Hmm.. This is very interesting an encouraging... Hopefully the kids in the 3rd class didn't just follow a herd mentality (i.e. everyone else going for LP cos the first few people did) .
Very similar to my projections; I also predicted 22 states where LP is likely to get 25% of votes. Only difference is that I didnt include Niger and Kogi but included Oyo and Osun.
lhordspy: This is the problem I have with obi supporters. Just ask them to give you reasons why they think Obi will win. The next thing you are bound to see or hear is:
Yoruba Christians , Northern christian , Igbo voters .
It reeks of sentiment, partitioning, and divisiveness ; not competence, not nationalism. It further justify the reason why people are opposing the supposedly 'movement'. A political campaign/strategy driven only on religous hate and ethnic sentiment.
The reason OBI supporters are only hoping for votes from Christian enclaves is very simple and obvious; the majority of the voting population in the north has been so religiously and ethnically brainwashed over the years that it would almost amount to 'delusion' to expect any of these folks to vote a Christian candidate (and even an Igbo man) when a Muslim northerner is on the ballot. In view of this distasteful reality, if any analyst is to predict where OBI's votes would come from in the north, it's only commonsensical that they only consider the few votes that may come from the Christian enclaves and the few non-religiously brainwashed Muslim population.
If you do not see or regard the obvious ethno-religious based prejudice against OBI in the north as a problem, but rather view OBI's reliance on the few northern Christian votes as the main issue, then the joke is actually on you for failing to realise your putrid bigotry!
yarimo: Mumu man you can visit market place in Lagos state on Monday but you can't visit market place in any part of south east on MONDAY. including Anambra state you claim you have govern very well Common sense is far from OBI
OBI isnt the governor or chief security officer of the state and neither is he the president or commander in chief of the armed forces... Obi stopped being a governor and public official 9 years ago and he isnt even a member of the ruling party, not to talk of having any influence on the current leadership. But somehow, in your warped sense of judgment, you expect OBI as a private individual to be in charge of the security apparatus in his state?
With this level of ignorance, you still have the guts to insult another of lacking common sense?
In the last 9 months, propaganda after propaganda against Peter Obi keep collapsing like a pack of cards. Few days ago it was the silly N2bn CAN bribe, now this.
Who God has blessed, no man can curse! Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come!!!
LocalStandard1: This is for those who are willing to drop the prejudice, drop the hate, drop the tribalism and seek to learn and improve. Not you. Bye!
Obailala, tribalist? Obailala hates who exactly? What a resounding joke!
You opened a thread asking a life long pertinent question on why Igbos are disliked. I gave you a short, blunt, deep and factual response which captures the essense of it all; but it obviously went over your head, so you quickly dismissed and tagged it "hatred and tribalism".
You say the thread is for those willing to learn, but you don't seem mature enough or possess the requisite intellectually soundness to entertain opposing views, including those you can actually learn from; you probably only want responses that massage your ego.
If it helps your prejudices, I am an Igbo man myself, and the response I gave was a direct extract from Chinua Achebe's final publishing - There Was A Country! (I've attached an excerpt below - If you're truly willing to learn as you claim, I can send a PDF copy of the book). I'm guessing in your interpretation, the 82 year old Achebe was also a tribalist who hated Igbos?
Anyway, I guess the joke is really on me for erroneously thinking it was a mature thread open for deep conversations. So I would be taking my leave, BYE!
LocalStandard1: Many people accredite and agree the dislike and hatred for the Igbos in Nigeria is caused by the civil war. Many people continue to carry the notion that they started the civil war thus the hatred.
But it has been more than fifty(50+) years since the civil war. More people now are being killed by a particular tribe codenamed "BANDITS" than the Igbos ever even did, yet not much bitterness is put on them as the Igbos even till now. Rwanda is a country of only about 13 million today, as at thirty years ago at the time of the genocide they were about half the population yet about 800,000 people were killed. Today, there is not only a total reconciliation there but Rwanda has moved on to be one of the very fastest growing economies in Africa. The cleanest, less corrupttion!
So why does Nigeria still carry it's hate on a peaceful ethnic group? Peaceful cause as someone from Kaduna State, Southern Kaduna, I have never experienced or even heard of an ethnic clash between the Igbo settlers and a Middle Belt tribe before.
So I theorized the issue is not because of the civil war but the civil war is only a symptom of the real matter in contention. And I continued to ask till I discovered this very wonderful video on YouTube. It gives a clear, good picture to the root cause, if you see it that way.
It's tittled "The hatred behind Jews, Igbos, and Chinese Explained by Thomas Sowell"
This video has answered my long questions and probably many others perfectly well. Especially now as the elections draw near and the questions seems very rife.
The real reason Igbos are hated all across Nigeria is cos Igbos 'show off' way too much; in the words of Chinua Achebe, he described it as "noisy exhibitionism".
When a person brags too much, he/she naturally invites envy, which very easily progresses to hatred. This is more so if the thing the person brags about is revealed to be true. Unfortunately, this is Igbo culture, and it wouldnt be changing any time soon.
I decree upon them their children will know no peace. They'll suffer for their parents sins. Those of you daughters and sons of satan that watches this show shall know no peace as well.
You'll all born in hell for all eternity
Back to sender. Only you and your own children will know no peace! Amen!!
Seun was a grammy nominee, globally recognised unlike Psquare a local champ..
Seun is from a wealthy home, well enlightened and exposed
Psquare the talentless artists using political campaign to revive their dead career?
Psquare who collected money from Buhari, Jonathan and anticipating to collect from Obi?
Dey play
Jonzing galore!.. Let Seun go take a walk for 1 hour on the streets of Lagos let's see if anyone would recognise him. Afterwards, let Peter take the same walk and let's se if people would be able to get home that day cos of the traffic.
OsunOriginal: I think the next thing for him is to leave the race. There is no way on earth Obi can get 25% in Lagos with this empty TBS and only noise.
Yeah there's nothing left for him in the election; we all know OBI doesnt stand a chance in the election so please just kindly instruct your thugs and agberos to stop attacking innocent people on the streets.
ogunprince18: Fela is a YORUBA ICON just as much as national. You are the real bigot with your hatred. You people just wanna copy everything white people do and call other Africans bigots all day. it’s pathetic that you have this much self hatred
Me Hatred for who?.... Oga Leave all these petty talk, just show us where Peter insulted FELA and where he insulted YORUBAS.
An easy way to identify true tribal, ethnic and racial bigots is that they're always desperate to start ir turn everything to an ethnic match. In this case, Peter and Seun are fighting, I see it for what it is (i.e. 2 adults fighting)... I'm clearly not the bigot turning it into an intertribal war.
femisplash: Abeg keep quiet, Seun gave a personal opinion and then the illiterate butted in to insult Seun and his father's legacy, he would further go on to insults fela's shrine and what he stands for. But you're here being half smart trying to downplay the insults on his father. Meanwhile, you guys would have been screeching at our ears like a crybaby if it was the other way round
I can show you where Seun insulted Peter and where Peter insulted Seun. But what I cannot find and what you've failed to point out is where or how Peter insulted FELA. Several people have asked you to point this out but you keep running around like a headless chicken.
Also while you're at it, kindly point out where Peter insulted YORUBAS (which you and your ilk claim is the reason for turning this to an ethnic battle).
femisplash: What's my business with one effing petition, Yoruba don't roll like that, I doubt he'd get a hundred signatures, unlike you guys signing a stupid petition against Brymo and anyone who slaps reality into you..
Lol... ohhh! So you know its a chronically stupid petition yet you're attacking and insulting me for calling it out for what it is? After several hours, only 2 signees cos such stupidity is genuinely rare...
If you had any sense of discernment, you should be able to see how your ethnic bigotry is already eroding your sanity. Peter and Seun are fighting online; you and your pathetic likes are hell bent on turning it to an inter-tribal battle by dragging FELA into it. Meanwhile FELA is a national icon, not a YORUBA icon. But of course, senseless bigots always find a way to turn everything into tribal battles.
femisplash: So says a blind bigot, you wouldn't see where Peter insulted Fela and his legacy because you share same sentiments with the illiterate guy.
Like I said before, i dont expect an ethnic bigot with single digit IQ to discern anything besides bigotry.
PrinceOfLagos: Mr Peter Obi is scheduled to hold labour party campaign rally in Lagos today at TBS Lagos . Nigerians especially the youths living in Lagos are already gearing up for the mother of all rallies at TBS .
See placards on display ahead of the rally today in Lagos ..
Kwankwaso sounds really pained! Forget whatever noise he makes, he's going to step down and out of the race by next week. Oga would likely be targetting ministerial appointment under Tinubu or Atiku.
