frankyychiji: How is the bolded obvious The fact that OBI takes every single online poll, even those conducted by hardcore APC folks on twitter, facebook etc. That should clearly tell you OBI has more supporters online than any other candidate. Heck! Why should I even have to explain this to anyone? Even a child on the street knows that OBI has more followers online (and possibly offline too). |

2elliot: No one cares if you are for Peter Obi or not. Agbadorians don't own the country more than anyone else. We simply will not allow them bully and insult us they did Goodluck. We will give fire for fire. Like I said before, I will not shy away from calling out bad behaviour when I see it; regardless of who the perpetrator is. |

frankyychiji: So OBIdients are more in population online compared to tinubu supporters? Are you for real?
You seem not to be a Nigerian. Enjoy. Isnt that already obvious? Even a blind person knows this, so I'm not sure I understand your point here. |
Politics › Re: The Uncouth Nature Of Peter Obi Supporters by obailala(m): 6:40pm On Feb 20, 2023 |
frankyychiji: Even you an old nler who should know better? So you agree OBIdients are the ones bullying you online, while others are saints ? If you think you are doing anyone a favor by voting your choice, then you are in a deep slumber. I did not say others are saints, but I said OBIDIENTS are the biggest bullies online, and there are different reasons for that, one of which is the sheer population of OBIDIENTS online (which drowns the voices of others) and another which is the general disaffection people have for the ruling parties and their candidates. I am an OBIDIENT, but that doesn't mean I should see 'black' and call it 'white' or try to make excuses for what in my principles I know is bad behaviour. You can count me out of that! |

Naijatask: I agree with you Sha. But I had to point this out, since my friends who are still undecided about their choice of candidates always feel like peter obi's government maybe tribalistic when he wins the election since they felt that his supporters are tribalistic A lot of Nigerians unfortunately fall in this uncouth senseless tribalistic category, both OBIDIENTS and others. The reason it seems more pronounced amongst the OBIDIENTS is cos the OBIDIENTS are very large in number and have colonised the entire social media space. |
Politics › Re: The Uncouth Nature Of Peter Obi Supporters by obailala(m): 5:50pm On Feb 20, 2023 |
Naijatask: Good evening everyone.
I've observed an uncouth behavior in this forum and other social media spaces like Twitter and Facebook about peter obi supporters.
They tend to assume that all Yoruba people will vote for APC's presidential candidate and as such, any Yoruba person who doesn't agree with them even on matters not related to politics, are called various names like Yoruba Muslim, head slammer, and other despicable names. While Hausa people are called uncouth names like almajiri, muhammedan, etc.
I mean, if this isn't tribalistic, I don't know what else to call it.
Trust me, I'm an Hausa person and an ardent supporter of Peter obi but some of his supporters (I mostly noticed this a lot about the Igbo tribe) tend to assume that all Yoruba people and Hausa people are against peter obi.
The uncouth nature of some of his supporters will be one of the reasons he may lose the election (even though I don't pray for his failure sha).
We should rather educate people on why the need and emergence of Peter obi and not attacking them verbally on social media.
The better we start educating people on the need for peter obi as the president, the better for us.
Thank you. Truth of the matter is that there will always be lots of kids and immature/slow-brained adults out there who do not have the capacity to pass their message across in a civil manner without resorting to the uncouth agbero mob action you refer to. Definitely the actions of some of these folks could cost OBI some votes but hopefully the damage wouldn't be so much. This election is about rescuing the soul of Nigeria from total collapse, so let's just try and ignore the disasteful tribal and senseless comments from these 'kids' and focus on the target of ensuring OBI wins the election. |

The reason the punishment meant for the bad political leader gets to everyone is because deep in our hearts, we're largely all as bad and wicked as the politicians we pray to God to punish. Only thing that divides the politicians and the people praying against them is just the 'opportunity'. God sees all these!
The fact that we have a disproportionately large number of Nigerians about to vote for people they know in their hearts are not right, but still go ahead to vote them cos of what they hope to gain, or cos of tribal/religious links, God sees all these and God understands that the problem in Nigeria isnt just the political leaders alone. |

PeterObi4LP: He has a way of punishing them thru sickness and other means. Those who have died did not go along with them all the loots, bulletproof cars, mansion and connection. So of what use is all the material things without accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour? Repent now.
Even non-politicians also die from these sicknesses and diseases far more than the politicians themselves. |

Juchii: See Why Paul Adefarasin refused to endorse Peter Obi. He dines with Tinubu secretly.
Many pastors feed on the patronage of these fraudulent politicians. Pastor Paul Adefarasin is one of them. Read the invitation below. What is wrong with a Pastor stating that he wouldnt publicly endorse any candidate? That's actually the right and wise thing to do.... I'm very sure Pastor Adefarasin and his family are OBIDIENT but I do not believe it's a proper thing for him to come say that publicly.... OBIDIENTS make we dey try use our brain sometimes abeg; we need to stop this agbero mob mentality! |

SLAP44: Prove me wrong and stop shifting the goal post. Why should I try to prove a deluded person wrong? How exactly is any sane person even supposed to do that? You're the one who claimed the bridge is "dilapidated" without any evidence, and now you're asking for evidence that it isnt dilapidated? Your case seems like a good example of why substances like 'mkpurummiri' are banned. |

SLAP44: Did they? so you don't have any counter evidence?
Why is the bridge faulty and not in use? And what do you mean by the bridge being faulty? What evidence do you need exactly? Did thousands of people not pass the bridge in december? Like I said, if you must criticise, why dont you do it maturely? |

PDP embezzled the money
Apc swallowed the funds and Fashola has been doing mouth action since, maybe its the money from the bridge he is using to fund their campaign SLAP44: Look at the new 2nd River Niger bridge as it lay unused, same bridge they used to deceive people in Xmas period that it is now in use.

They also dismissed BantuPage polls.
Then Stears came, and now this one. And all of these polls continues to project one man as winner but idiotic and brainless BATstards with no regard for science believe their lord and saviour will buy the election with money.
Little wonder they are crying blood because of Naira redesign.
Peter Obi is the next president of you and your daddies.
Ndi ala! 1. Industrial scale vote buying 2. Brutal rigging These are the only things that can make the actual votes on election day go differently from these numerous opinion polls. When you hear PDP and APC supporters confidently saying OBI can never win the real election (despite these poll results), it's cos they've got absolute confidence in their rigging machinery. But God will surely put them to shame! |

El-Rufai knew very well the brain behind the Naira redesign, yet he chose to always attack Emefiele who is just a servant and only carried his master's instruction. I was expecting him to hit the nail on the head. Also all the average Tinubu supporters on Nairaland who always complain bitterly about the Naira redesign are always fast to attack Emefiele but hardly speak against Buhari.
