I did not say others are saints, but I said OBIDIENTS are the biggest bullies online, and there are different reasons for that, one of which is the sheer population of OBIDIENTS online (which drowns the voices of others) and another which is the general disaffection people have for the ruling parties and their candidates.

I am an OBIDIENT, but that doesn't mean I should see 'black' and call it 'white' or try to make excuses for what in my principles I know is bad behaviour. You can count me out of that!

I agree with you Sha. But I had to point this out, since my friends who are still undecided about their choice of candidates always feel like peter obi's government maybe tribalistic when he wins the election since they felt that his supporters are tribalistic

A lot of Nigerians unfortunately fall in this uncouth senseless tribalistic category, both OBIDIENTS and others. The reason it seems more pronounced amongst the OBIDIENTS is cos the OBIDIENTS are very large in number and have colonised the entire social media space.

I've observed an uncouth behavior in this forum and other social media spaces like Twitter and Facebook about peter obi supporters.

They tend to assume that all Yoruba people will vote for APC's presidential candidate and as such, any Yoruba person who doesn't agree with them even on matters not related to politics, are called various names like Yoruba Muslim, head slammer, and other despicable names. While Hausa people are called uncouth names like almajiri, muhammedan, etc.

I mean, if this isn't tribalistic, I don't know what else to call it.

Trust me, I'm an Hausa person and an ardent supporter of Peter obi but some of his supporters (I mostly noticed this a lot about the Igbo tribe) tend to assume that all Yoruba people and Hausa people are against peter obi.

The uncouth nature of some of his supporters will be one of the reasons he may lose the election (even though I don't pray for his failure sha).

We should rather educate people on why the need and emergence of Peter obi and not attacking them verbally on social media.

The better we start educating people on the need for peter obi as the president, the better for us.

Truth of the matter is that there will always be lots of kids and immature/slow-brained adults out there who do not have the capacity to pass their message across in a civil manner without resorting to the uncouth agbero mob action you refer to. Definitely the actions of some of these folks could cost OBI some votes but hopefully the damage wouldn't be so much.

This election is about rescuing the soul of Nigeria from total collapse, so let's just try and ignore the disasteful tribal and senseless comments from these 'kids' and focus on the target of ensuring OBI wins the election.

The reason the punishment meant for the bad political leader gets to everyone is because deep in our hearts, we're largely all as bad and wicked as the politicians we pray to God to punish. Only thing that divides the politicians and the people praying against them is just the 'opportunity'. God sees all these!

The fact that we have a disproportionately large number of Nigerians about to vote for people they know in their hearts are not right, but still go ahead to vote them cos of what they hope to gain, or cos of tribal/religious links, God sees all these and God understands that the problem in Nigeria isnt just the political leaders alone.

When I read the letter yesterday, the red circled portion is what first caught my attention - "warned to desist from nefarious activities".

I'm not the most widely travelled person and neither am I an expert in idiolects or writeprints, but I could tell on first read that the language used in the letter was somehow unique to Nigerians.
