mindfreaks: If you think its wise keep on the hatred, mind you Igbo's have by far more people in the north than Hausa's to Igbo lands. Igbo's have super expensive businesses through luxury assets among other things that will fade in case of violence. most of those that preaches the gospel of violence and hatred be warned, that your arrogance and ignorance towards the north might lead you cause heavy loss to your kind. A Queen of England in the 18th century once describes Black race in general as being Monkeys, her reason?, yes black people are wild, kill each other because of envy. blacks may be educated yet leaved as though in the bush, no regard for future, plus habitual criminals. I don't blame her, its we the black race that caused it. we are all Nigerians. If you have never been to any part of Nigeria and see your kind leaving in peace, plus owning luxurious projects, pls be careful so that your ignorances will not put peoples lives and property in danger, be Wise , use your literacy for beneficial things, promote unity, we leave next door to each other so let's be humans and debunk the former myth as to we blacks are monkeys. finally to the moderators of Nairaland you may wish to throw this important piece away, or make it bold for people to realise the implication of their violence inciting attitude. thank you!
United we stand, divided we fall one Nigeria advocate. Mindfreaks Even though a lot of Igbos support an outright disintegration from Nigeria, it is mainly the not-doing-too-wells that carry the ipob matter on their head. And it is the unsmart minority ones that talk about violence. |

2.James Ocholi declined the instruction to be part of the delegates that will accompany Mr President to Saudi Arabia and Qatar to sign bilateral agreements relating to the Islamization of Nigeria.
3. That car was a gift from the Presidency to James Ocholi that was handed over to him by Chris Ngige last week.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
All this bloody sacrifices that are made in Nigeria everyday is just for one selfish person who has vowed to rule Nigeria for complete Eight years
1. Over 500 Biafrans dead. 2. Over 200 Yoruba's slaughtered 3. Over 400 in Agatu community annihilated. 4. Over 70 ogonies murdered in cold blood by our armed forces. 5. Over 1000 shites gruesomely killed by our very own military

TheArchangel: You are insinuating and inferring on what didn't happen which you're inadvertently wishing it had occur. This is not an unlawful country like Nigeria where the guy would've been shot for walking too close.
Certainly, i hope it will serve as a food for thought for Rochas. Firstly, I am not not 'wishing' it occurred, I am rather telling you that is exactly what would have happened, except he was able to comport himself, sit down and keep his mouth shut. Secondly, I did not say he should or would be shot, but he would definitely be bundled out if he doesn't stay calm. When I hire a hall for an event, if a person crashes into my event exhibiting disruptive behaviour, it is the right of the organiser of the event to call on security to escort him to the door. If he resists the first polite call to leave the building, he would be bundled out. TheArchangel: No, I believe Rochas is the closest Igbo personality the guy can get to who has the ears of the government. Is not a matter of where the killings takes place but the personality of Rocha's pertaining to Ndigbos and the people he is dining with.
Certainly, i hope it will serve as a food for thought for Rochas. Are you suggesting that Rochas resigns from government because you do not like the fact that he's in the APC?.... Isn't this another clear sign that your anger is largely political (even though you don't know or agree to it)? The amount of animosity you have for Rochas, you do not even have one-tenth of that animosity for Obiano (APGA) or Ikpeazu (PDP) who have overseen the extra-judicial killings of IPOB members in their domain without making even a statement about it. You do not even have a single iota of animosity towards Peter Obi who oversaw the killings of several MASSOB members and dumping of their bodies in Ezu river by the police few years ago. But Right now, you pour your entire venom on Rochas who ironically, hasn't had any single IPOB or MASSOB person maltreated in Imo state, yet you still tell me your emotions have no links with politics of GEJ?.... Is it by force for everyone to support your GEJ or PDP?... Because it is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the animosity towards ROchas is purely because he belongs to APC. Simply a boring re-enactment of the Orubebe scene.
The last time I checked, IPOB protesters have been shot at and arrested in Abia, Anambra and even Rivers state, but to my knowledge, no IPOB person has been harassed in Imo state.
I have not seen the IPOB guys declare fatwa on the governors of those states where IPOB protesters were extra-judiciously killed; they court Wike as a darling, they court Obiano as a hero, they are ready to fight and die for Ikpeazu of the PDP. But they flex their muscles on Rochas and declare him enemy of Igbos and this is purely because he is in the APC. And these deluded touts want to tell me their anger is not politically linked to GEJ's election loss to APC? Strong Yeye dey smell!

Since 1960s igbos have watched Hausa and Yoruba take turns as President.
We dont want President again, we want freedom from colonialism and oppression.
We want to stay our own. We would have had an Igbo president in 2015 (or at worst, 2019) if only GEJ's emergence did not break the PDP's rotational presidency in 2011. You and I know the largest ethnic block that supported the GEJ presidency in 2011. For this particular reason of an Igbo presidency, ex-senate president Ken Nnamani shouted his lungs out discouraging the breaking of the PDP rotational principle, the then PDP chairman Vincent Ogbulafor also lamented the threat to the Igbo presidency but what happened? The warnings of both men were shoved aside; in fact, a 2001 corruption case against Ogbulafor was dug up, he was blackmailed, booted out of the chairmanship position and relegated to the background for life. Today we all know the result of that singular political miscalculation of 2011, but here we are now, blaming 'other tribes' for this misfortune and calling for a divorce. And to make matters worse, the activities of the IPOB sect has just taken the Igbo nation back to 1970. |

Oyeyemi stated this while presenting the accident’s Road Traffic Crash Investigation Interim Report to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided by President Buhari today March 9th. The problem with Nigeria, and by extension Africa and again by extension, the black man is that when things like this happens, no single person gets punished. All the past collapsed buildings in Lagos alone, how many culprits have ever been sent to prison?....
In the typical religious ways of the black man, the case of the Synagogue disaster which claimed over 100 lives has since been thrown into the dustbin of history. If investigations reveal in this recent case that the management of Lekki Gardens is culpable, I am 99.9% sure no one would still be prosecuted no one would be punished and the blame would be placed on the head of the devil and all his principalities and contrary powers.

Politics › Re: What Oil Price Surge Will Mean For Budget by obailala(m): 5:11pm On Mar 08, 2016 |
dondo83: WHAT OIL PRICE SURGE WILL MEAN FOR BUDGET 2016
According to the budget presentation made by President Muhammadu Buhari on December 22, 2015, Nigeria is expecting a revenue of N820 billion from crude oil, at a price of $38 per barrel.
With current realities, Nigeria is expected to be earning an extra $2 on every barrel of crude sold.
At the budget benchmark of 2.2 million barrels per day, Nigeria should earn a surplus of $5.6 million (N1.1 billion) per day.
This would translate to N404.97 billion for the 2016 fiscal year.
At a $50 per barrel scenario, Nigeria would make an extra $12 per barrel, translating to N1.9 trillion in oil revenue surplus.
With a budget deficit, N2.2 trillion, a $40 or $50 per barrel scenario, would reduce a sizeable amount of Nigeria’s budgetary deficit for 2016.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Nigeria’s debt-to-GDP ratio as of 2015 stood at 12 percent, compared with 57 percent for Angola and 48 percent for South Africa.
With borrowing in excess of N2 trillion in 2016, Nigeria would have a larger debt burden, but increase in crude oil prices will reduce the debt-to-GDP ratio of Africa’s largest economy.
It is worthy of note that the rise in crude oil prices may not automatically be funnelled into budget 2016, as the surpluses could be directed to Nigeria’s excess crude account (ECA), maintaining deficit at its current levels.
https://www.thecable.ng/.Vt7jaL0paOw.facebook Making an extra $12 per barrel at 2.2million barrels/day doesn't directly translate to N1.9trillion for the FG. Firstly, there is typically a 60-40 arrangement between Nigeria and the oil companies. Secondly, the 60% share of the FG is shared between 3 tiers of government with the FG actually taking only 55% while states and LGAs take the rest. So basically, only about 25% of that N1.9trillion rightfully belongs to the FG. Sad init? |

Chukzyfcb: As regard tomato production, there is a man from town by name "erisco" he has built a tomato plant that is adjudged to be the Biggest tomato plant in africa. He complains how he doesn't receive government favour like other manufacturers do. Infact lastmonth, his plant was commissioned with Aisha buhari present. He has already told the government to outrghtly ban or increase tomato import tax. Because the cost of manufacturing tomato is slightly expensive than Importing, so how can he compete? My fear is dangote's tomato's plant that is coming onboard soon, as a Northerner he could be more favoured than Mr Eric Umeofia (Ceo erisco food) who has already started the race but hasn't received any govt favours yet! Erisco needs to try and lobby much more, there must be something which Dangote does better (in terms of lobbying) which others aren't doing. I refuse to believe the favour Dangote gets is purely because of his ethnic group or religion cos he also enjoyed those favours under OBJ and GEJ and his tribesman like BUA also lamented the same discrimination. If the new erisco plant can really meet a substantial amount of local demand, then the best favour he needs now from government is a total ban on importation of tomato paste; I'm sure the present government would be happy to do that. We need more Eriscos though. |

No wonder the North wants to die to be in the Presidency!! We are watching! Dangote has flourished under successive governments, both northern and southern presidents. The man is a smart and shrewd businessman and his favours did not start under this northern presidency. If you remember in the last few elections, he supported both GEJ and Buhari at the same time; this was even evident in the circulated pictures which revealed that he even sat together with GEJ when final election results were being announced but as soon as Buhari was declared winner, he relocated to APC HQ. The man is a smart, shrewd and hardworking businessman who takes huge risks and gains huge rewards. While the man keeps expanding rapidly and buying off the entire Nigeria, other businessmen are busy sleeping on bike. Very soon, we will definitely start blaming Dangote for being a 'smart' man. |

dowjones: Nice one.
See why Nigeria's future is weak? Unregulated power in the hands of one man. Dangote only thives in a monopoly. Nigerians pay more than double for cement compared global prices because of one man.
When IBETO brother were given license to produce cement under the Yar adua admin, they announced they will sell a bag of cement for N800 the NEXT WEEK, that license was revoked through the lobbying of Turai (that witch).
Once dangote is done with his tomato paste farm, government will pass a unfavourable bill against tomato paste production. Or they will use NAFDAC do make new entrants suffer. This is nigeria
Dangote's Nigeria There are lot's of opportunities in the tomato paste business today and very soon, importation of tomato paste will definitely be banned. So the big question is, why are more businessmen not investing in the tomato paste business now? WHy is everyone waiting for Dangote to dominate that sector too? I may be wrong, but I thought the reason Ibeto's cement import license was suspended was because he had not met with the agreement to set-up his local production plant? |

Police in Osun State, yesterday, intercepted a vehicle loaded with 14 goats in Ede, headquarters of Ede South Local Government Area and detained the goats, while the driver of the vehicle escaped.
A police source said a team of policemen patrolling Sekona/Nigerian Army Regiment Construction Company Highway saw a speeding red Mitsubishi car, with number plates XF 467 NND at Sekona junction around 1a.m. They ordered him to stop but the driver refused.
It was gathered that the police team, led by one Inspector Ajayi Sunday, chased the driver from Sekona junction to Cemetery Area in Edun-Abon, where the driver parked the vehicle and escaped before the police arrived. The vehicle and the goats were taken to the station. Confirming the arrest of the goats, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Folasade Odoro, said the goats had been detained. She said the goats would remain in the police custody until the owner(s) showed up, adding that investigation had begun. https://d19lga30codh7.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/goat.jpghttp://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/03/police-detain-14-goats-in-osun/Some comic relief for the Tuesday morning. |
