Hmmmm... I never knew it was Obama who voted 15million times to kick the ineffectual leader out? Obviously, silly people abound in every nation of the world. A year after election, some retards are still fanning the embers of religious sentiments and division to push their evil lootocratic agenda forward. The IPOBians would definitely be excited about this, a 'superior' oyibo being has toed their line of reasoning. |
abumeinben: ilawanson44:Just like importing raw materials for local manufacture, there is nothing wrong in importing hybrid seedlings/grass/legumes for planting in Nigeria to boost animal production. By the way, why do I sense a feeling both of you are sad about this supposedly good news? |
DauraDullard0:If he resigns then what happens? |
Only a wilful dolt would actually read report and still think Lai Mohammed is wrong. The editors who reported the story earlier yesterday obviously distorted the report for whatever reason. |
DauraDullard0:Okay he has failed. Hopefully he redeems himself and brings us out of this mess in his remaining 3+ years. |
FUTO always representing... Their dressing though; looking good is actually good business. ![]() |
Paperwhite:If a person is known to be a pathological thief, why don't we wait for him to actually steal first before we crucify him?.... After all we are very sure the man will steal again, so why can't we just wait for him to steal first before cutting his hands off instead of fabricating a fake story today? |
DauraDullard0:For the fuel importers, 'business as usual' involved indiscriminate collection of subsidies, the subsidy regime was so sweet for the fuel import cabal that in 2011 alone, Nigeria paid over N2trillion to those leeches who in return ensured that the nation had fuel all year round (as long as the FG signed their cheques whenever they coughed). It is no longer the case and low oil prices even means no more subsidies at all. For the NNPC, the guys from NUPENG and PENGASSAN (I think) recently shutdown the NNPC over moves by the petroleum ministry to unbundle the corporation and make it more efficient/profitable. You and I know how most of these unions always prefer the old 'business as usual' ways where they do whatever they like and still get paid. These shake-ups and industrial actions 'I believe' also affected the supply of fuel nationwide. |
Penisinpenisout:Keep hating him, but he doesn't give a flying f**k if you entire village even exists. Common sense tells me it is not his fault that dubious media agents would hear one thing and report another. So yeah.. you can choose to keep hating. |
erico2k2:I know a lot of people keyed into the jokes made on Buhari over his alleged statement about stabilising oil prices. But the unfortunate thing is that ignorance is just a disease. A lot of you are embarrassingly ignorant of the fact that it is humans that push to control these prices. Now you agree the prices are controlled by demand and supply, but while demand may remain constant, you obviously are not aware that humans can control the supply aspects right? If I may ask, what do you think is the mandate of OPEC if not to control oil prices?... Are you aware that if only Nigeria decides to cut production by say, 500,000 barrels/day, it would instantly tilt global oil prices?... Are you also aware that if Nigeria liaises with several other oil producers and pushes for a cut in oil production by say 10%, it would instantly tilt oil prices?... Are you also aware that the so called 'baseless' promise (in your own words) to stabilise oil prices was also made by Diezani Madueke within weeks of when Buhari made the statement?... Or maybe you want to tell me a first class Diezani is also dull Yet right?... http://leadership.ng/business/392902/ill-stabilise-oil-prices-opec-president-diezani |
MCRUEMUS:If you have a functional brain in your head, answer the freaking question raised instead of resorting to insults. |
DauraDullard0:Well it's an unfortunate situation, very unfortunate. But what could be the cause of this persistent scarcity?... Could it be because the present govt has refused to play ball with the cabals which handle most of the fuel imports and the cabals which want to ensure things remain 'business as usual' in NNPC? Whatever the case, hope this ends soon. |
Just cant understand why one jobless imbe has been stalking me for the past few days. |
DauraDullard0:Oil products are expensive for you in Nigeria because your giant country is incapable of refining the crude that comes out of its ground. |
Paperwhite:It was you and your ilk who believed such electioneering rumour and held on to it as fact that deserve some examination. |
erico2k2:Effort can be made to stabilise or prop up global oil prices and concerted efforts are currently being made in that regard. So yeah, any person with a brain knows there is nothing wrong with the brain of a person who intends to make moves to stabilise oil prices. |
Achuwa1:Resign so you beloved lord and personal saviour the ineffectual one would come and take over and finish the destruction he started in Nigeria? #BleedyWailers Only empty heads do not know that oil prices are beyond the control of the government and only empty heads think a 10 month old government is responsible for the economic downturn facing an undiversified mono-economic nation especially at a time when the single sustainer of the nation (oil) is worth less than the price of fried chicken. |
But oil price has never been within the control of Nigeria or any country? .... So what is special about this dubious title? Only brainless wailers celebrate when a government official states a simple elementary fact such as the oil price being beyond the control of the government. |
denko:Most of the people supporting Buhari (especially from the south) know exactly the reasons why they support Buhari. Most are not so bothered yet because they are intelligent enough to appreciate the simple fact that most of the hardships suffered today are not a direct or indirect result of a Buhari presidency. Unfortunately, most of even the intelligent anti-buhatists have allowed their intelligence to be beclouded by the emotions of partisan sentiments. Just recently, someone even blamed Buhari for the fall in global oil prices, and then you expect reasonable people to take such a person's opinions seriously? |
truly:Ignorance is surely a disease; did the people who maltreat child witches tell you they do so in the name of Christianity? |
diasporaman:It is folly for the righteous to sit in their temples praying everyday without speaking about the well being of the society. It was the job of prophets of old to continually remind the kings, rulers and the people of their misdeeds and the likely punishments. Sometimes I wonder the kind of Christianity we practice these days for people to think the job of prophets/pastors ends in praying in their churches and collecting collectibles. |
LesbianBoy:A pained frustrated disciple of the ineffectual clueless one. Sorry we should have perpetuated the clueless one for life and then you would have been happy. #BleedyWailers |
GworoChewinMaga:Successive bad leaderships have ruined nigeria to this point where we depend solely on one commodity whose price is unfortunately unstable. The only solution to the present economic downturn is to diversify away from oil. But only capital dunces think diversification can happen instantly in 10 months and even at a time the nation is rock-bottom broke. Only capital dunces put the blame on buhari for not performing a miracle in 10 months, a miracle which his detractors ironically couldn't achieve in 16 years. |
ElCule:Every major oil producing country is going through exactly what Nigeria is presently going through. Nigeria is fortunately even faring better off than the rest of the pack. So please you can keep blaming buhari for your woes from now till forever, it doesn't change this fact which should known by every smart / intelligent person. |
medpren:E be like say u wan chop ban? I ignored your trolling cos i was already enjoying my friday evening odeku and isiewu. In this life, you should know some people just have better things to do with their time. |
medpren:Swerve! |
Rapmoney:Sorry boy, I am not blind, I am not gullible and I do not judge based on silly sentiments. It is only a blindly sentimental being that would expect everything today in Nigeria to be the same as when oil sold above $100; it is also a blindly sentimental being that would blame buhari for the fall in global oil prices or for being unable to instantly diversify Nigeria's economy in 10months and maintain a robust economy as when oil (our only export commodity) still sold for above $100. It is painful arguing with some of you adults who refuse to use common sense to appreciate situations. |
bluaero:So because I complain about nupeng caring about personal interests, you sit behind your desk, full of yourself and think I have no sense?. .. and then you go further to think I am a kid?... ![]() And in this your peculiar wisdom, you think you are a wise adult for throwing insults around to strangers? |
medpren:Lol.. I am a very happy man living a comfortable life, thanks. But you on the other hand obviously woke up frustrated this morning and you have been mentioning my name on every post as if you dreamt about me. I come to Nairaland to have fun and gain information/knowledge, you obviously came in here today to lament, weep, wail, gnash your teeth and pour out your accumulated venom/frustration on your perceived enemies. Unfortunately for you, I don jump you pass, your craze nor reach to worry me. So I will only keep responding to your rants because I am pretty much free today. Kontinuu! ![]() |
medpren:You are not the first to school outside Nigeria... You are also not the first to hold dual citizenship. So don't let your frustration take over your reasoning. #BleedyWailers |
medpren:Next! ![]() |
knightsTempler: medpren:The message is simple, if you can't afford to send yourself and your kids overseas, sit your broke asses at home. You don't expect the government to subsidise such luxuries for you especially when the country is going through a great recession which may irreversibly crash it. |
