Former commander in chief President Good luck Ebele Jonathan And His Campaign Team Were Hurled with shoes, plastic water bottle, Pure water sachet, And other objects at the canopy where the former president was in, in Bauchi Again He's Convoy Were Stone in Katsina And He's campaign Buses Were Burn down in Jos Plateau State And No Gunshot Was Fired on Anyone,
Today we can notice a common Army chief was blocked from passing a road because of religious program. Hundreds were killed. APC Chanji.
[b]Under GEJ, the army chief then also did the exact same thing when he was provoked by the shiites; 3 of Sheikh Zakzaky's children were murdered at an instance together with several others.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/07/sheikh-zakzakys-son-10-others-died-nigerian-troops-shiite-muslims-clash/

So please, I am sure we are all mature adults, let us stop politicising every issue and appreciate that this issue of brutality is a common problem with all our servicemen (army, navy, airforce, police, civil defense, even LASTMA etc) and the problem persists irrespective of ruling party or president. I do not need a soothsayer to tell me it wasn't Jonathan who ordered the army to kill the shiites last year, likewise it wasn't Buhari or APC who ordered the army to kill them last week. Similarly, it wasnt OBJ that ordered the army to commit a genocide in Odi or Odioma or Zaki-Biam in the early 2000's. It was not also Yaradua who ordered the execution of Mohammed Yusuf of Bokoharam in 2009. So please and please, let us learn to identify the real problem and stop irrational politicisation of everything we see. Thanks!

And so it begins.........
Come 2019 Nigeria might be gravely divided among Ethnic, religious and political lines with the precedence this administration is setting.Never before has this Country been divided along this lines as at present.
Wisdom is profitable to direct....
Ironically, this dangerous and devilish divide and rule tactics using ethnicity, tribe, region and religion was instituted by PDP in the last administration. They totally lacked ideas on playing politics hence they resorted to the worst forms of blackmail based on religion, tribe etc. Within the last 5 years, never was Nigeria so divided across ethnic and religious lines, I'm afraid the damage has already been done and it's irreversible.

Unfortunately, even though it failed to work for them during the elections, one would think they have learnt their lessons, yet some hopeless diabolics like FFK still resort to religious divide and rule tactics to further fuel hatred in Nigeria. God will judge a lot in Nigeria.

Just imagine the man publicly accusing the present government of being islamic just to create ethnic and religious tension in Nigeria, even though it is clear to even an imbecil the reasons behind this development. Ironically this same FFK and his pdp crew had nothing to say when a christian GEJ renewed Nigeria's membership in the OIC and collected non-interest loans from islamic banks, now the sons of devils want to turn this into a religious war because PMB is the president.

Bro, I cannot be worried about anything because my intelligence surpasses the level of being manipulated by some divisive politicians like FFK through religion. Nigeria is a secular country and listing Nigeria in some random islamic register does not and cannot change the fact that nigeria is not a muslim country.

If there is anything I should be worried about, it is the rise and rise of boko haram and anything that can be done to stop them is a welcome development. Nigeria is currently suffering from an islamic terrorist scourge, Nigeria needs all the help it can get and the western nations have obviously abandoned us. If forming an alliance with some islamic or arab countries is what will help us with funds, weapons, strategies etc. Then so be it. I do not still how that makes me a muslim or an arab.

I do not like to politicise matters like this, but you do not need a soothsayer to tell you that 95% of the people yelling in this thread have not thought it through but are purely driven by political sentiments of GEJ vs PMB, and they have already jumped into conclusions jubilating that buhari wants to islamise Nigeria as they predicted. The irony of this is that bugari did not register nigeria in the OIC and neither did buhari renew our membership. It was rather a christian GEJ that renewed Nigeria's membership in 2013 but these guys have myopically tied the hangman's noose around PMB's neck for no other reason but the fact that they just hate him.

When NOI and the FG under Jonathan drew up a budget and stated they intend to borrow monies from Íslamic Development Bank, the FFKs of this country never raised a finger in objection- now, Buhari wants to join a group of Islamic countries to nib Boko Haram in the bud when our Western allies appear to have reneged on their commitments and suddenly, IT IS OBJECTIONABLE!!

Why are you guys like thishuh
You know I am really sick and tired of the mentality of Nigerians. Hardly had this news been released and they are all jubilating all over the place accusing PMB of islamising Nigeria. Not because FFK said it. I don't even like him. It's in the news. Visit BBC NEWS website to confirm. You should be finding out if it's true and what the alliance stands for. I've done that already
..and what does the alliance stand for?.. 34 mainly muslim countries aligning together to fight terrorism. The word 'mainly' clearly means not all the countries are arab/muslim; or are Gabon or ivory coast arab states?...

Nigeria was obviously invited because we are presently victims of terrorists and we are presently fighting terrorism. Nigeria needs all the help it needs to end this BH scourge, yet all some diabolics like FFK can see is how to create unnecessary paranoia and religious division. And then some gullible folks happily jump into his bandwagon.

By the way, was it even PMB that registered Nigeria in the OIC?... what do you have to say about the fact that GEJ a Christian hero refreshed Nigeria's membership in the OIC by attending their summit in egypt in 2013?.... Isn't it just clear to you that what you have is just a hatred for buhari and a paranoia which makes you see things that are not as if they were?

We are a bunch of very sentimental folks in this country. This coalition is explained in simple English. They said "34 mainly Muslim countries"...meaning that not all the 34 countries are Muslim countries, but most of them are. See,we are trying to get a coalition to fight terrorism (for our own good) and folks who can't comprehend simple English are missing the target and talking sentiments. Nigeria was definitely encouraged to join that coalition because of boko haram's presence in our domain,so we can share ideas and get ideas and help too.

Fani-Kayode never has anything useful to say except 'is this the "change"?'

God Bless Nigeria. Amen
How I wish our sentimental folks and their leaders like FFK will use their brains for once and comprehend a simple situation instead of running around exposing crass ignorance.

Nobody can dispute the fact that Buhari is an Islamic fanatic who sometime in 2001 supported the the proposition to implement Sharia on the whole of Nigeria http://www.news24.com/xArchive/Archive/Calls-for-total-Sharia-in-Nigeria-20010827

It is no news that most Muslims bear such mindset, this is 21st century and it was an unnecessary and unfortunate time-travelling that we travelled back in time by recycling another former old leader.

This is about taking religions out of the government, which surely is far fetched when we have a fundamentalist islamist on the presidency
Every muslim supports the spread of sharia globally, same as every christian supports the spread of Christianity worldwide. Let's stop this sentimental bulshiit.

How on earth does being listed amonst 34 'mainly' muslim nations aligning to fight terror interpret into meaning that "Nigeria is a Muslim/Arab nation"?... and what does this development even have to do with Buhari? ... was it buhari that registered Nigeria as an islamic nation in 1986?... was it buhari that renewed Nigeria's membership of the OIC in 2013?

Now read the main summary of the real story below:
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/12/saudi-arabia-forms-muslim-anti-terrorism-coalition-151215035914865.html

Saudi Arabia forms Muslim 'anti-terrorism' coalition
Alliance includes 34 mainly Muslim states but excludes regional rival Iran as well as Iraq and Syria.

Saudi Arabia has formed a coalition of 34 mainly Muslim countries - including powers such as Egypt and Turkey - to coordinate a fight against "terrorist organisations".
The alliance was announced by Mohammed bin Salman, the country's defence minister and deputy crown prince, on Tuesday.

Arab countries such as Qatar and the UAE will join the coalition, as well as Middle Eastern, Asian and African states including Pakistan, Malaysia, and Nigeria.
How in earth does this this mean that Nigeria is now an islamic arab country?... isnt it clear from the report when it says 'mainly' arab countries that some of the countries involved are not arab countries?.... Are ivory coast and Gabon also islamic/arab countries?... or is Nigeria not even presently suffering from a terrorist threat?

Islam is not synonymous with Arab - Fact

Arabs countries have contiguous boundaries - Fact

Arabs countries doesn't even constitute half of Islamic countries - Fact

This new alliance consists of Sunni Arab Countries - Fact

Nigeria is neither an Islamic country nor an Arab nation - Fact

APC Manifesto is strictly against any notion painting Nigeria with any religious colouration and has strictly defined the country as a multi ethnic and religious secular country hence CAN is inorder with their concerns.

Get off your high horse and analyze the topic with the above submissions.
Nigeria was not labelled as an Islamic nation. Go and read the original report and stop allowing political charlatans deceive you with the way they twist stories for devilish reasons. I'm surprised even CAN would stoop this low, probably out of sheer paranoia or maybe just in a bid to remain relevant.

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/12/saudi-arabia-forms-muslim-anti-terrorism-coalition-151215035914865.html

Here's a link to the real report where it clearly states "mainly arab states and some middle eastern, asian and african countries." Nations like Gabon and Ivory coast which are clearly not islamic nor arab are also included in the alliance. The word 'mainly' means that not all countries in the list were referred to as arab or islamic. And yeah, Nigeria being in the OIC has nothing to do with APC or Buhari, let's stop all these unecessary and unhealthy falsehoods and divisions.

Reading through the original report, the word 'mainly' clearly means that not all nations involved are arab nations, it is not written anywhere that Nigeria is an arab nation. From the report, Nigeria was listed as an 'African State' just like some other clearly non-arab nations like Gabon and Ivory Coast.

Unfortunately, Nigeria has been sooo divided by religion that even the most meaningless things awaken the paranoia in people and they begin to pee in their pants and speak irrationally. It is highly depressing because even the most educated people shamelessly fall for the most senseless conspiracy theories and propaganda. Some dubious personality obviously twisted the original story to suit his political narrative by claiming that PMB has registered Nigeria in an 'ALL' arab nations alliance and even supposedly educated people within the ranks of CAN have swallowed this folly and spreading it to Nigerians?

Anyway, just like Tonyebarcanista has rightly pointed out, Nigeria still remains a member of the OIC and that is not the making of PMB as the jonathanian wailers are singing about ignorantly.

sometimes I feel so bad for this country especially with the thinking of our young ones. The exchange rate by may 29th at the parallel market was 1dollar against 210naira and since then our currency have had a free fall, yes Jonathan made mistakes but we can't still be living under that after 7months. Apc should simply device a means and stop looking for who to blame for their lack of a clear cut economic frame work. Simple
Stop saying what you dont know and still trying to sound smart at the same time. The exchange rate in the parallel market as at the time of handover reached up to N250. Afterwards the CBN had to implement the draconian forex restrictions which managed to drag the rate down to less than N220 in a space of about 3 weeks.

Unfortunately the CBN's forex restrictions and the refusal to give in to foreign pressure to devalue the naira began to force some foreign investors to pull their funds out of Nigeria; this in itself hasnt helped the naira and also, it appears the forex restrictions is no longer capable of holding back the freefall of the naira.

The nation has only one source of income, for the last 5 years at least, oil consistently sold at average of $100 per barrel, today it sells for $36/barrel. The nation has next to zero savings and yet the same PDP which couldnt diversify the economy in 16 years is accusing a 7 months old government of failing to have a clear cut economic framework that will automatically perform MIRACLES in the midst of shambles?

I find it rather irritating and outright foolish that the very same set of irresponsible rogues who led the nation into this very mess (and their supporters who urge them on), are the very ones lambasting the current administration for not cleaning up their entire shit in 7 months. And then when the current administration RESPONDS that the mess was actually created by PDP, you guys have the guts to wish away the past by asking apc to stop referring to the pdp?

How can you give a person rotten ingredients and then be the ones to complain that the person is unable to prepare fresh soup instantly?... and then when the person complains of your pressure, you ask the person to look forward and automatically forget that you were the one who supplied rotten ingredients in the first place?... what sort of folly is that?....

And then you come here to talk of the 'thinking' pattern of young Nigerians, have you for once taken a look at the mirror and analysed your own thinking pattern?....
