It's NOT A RELOCATION. ...its a gradual SHUTDOWN! When this news was first reported, people like you said it wasn't true. See your life??
The news that surfaced claimed it was being shutdown and that was a lie from some silly GEJ sympathising blog whose proprietor is still bitter over GEJs election loss and who is hell bent on spreading as much falsehood as possible to cause disaffection and a divide in this country. If only some of you understand the dangers of infusing religion into politics, you will understand how foolish all these people who spread lies based on religious difference in the name of politics are.

My dear, there is a difference between shutdown and relocate. And there was a report to discount that news.

I still maintain that time will tell. Usually the handwriting comes on the wall first. We've seen that already.
You are simply a victim of political propaganda.... When you hear a story so often, whether true or not, you begin to see it, you begin to feel it. Even if PMB relocates only the church out of the villa, that is not religious intolerance. Enough of all this nonsense!

Are you seriously asking this question in Nigeria? That is a massive statement. It tells all the workers in aso villa who are Christians that there is a certain "body language" now. I don't blame him sha, he's won the election he can do as he pleases. My people say that when a game escapes the hunter today, tomorrow is another hunt day.
God helping Nigeria somebody who is genuinely not bigotic or nepotist will put all Nigerians first despite religious difference.

Btw I grew up in the north as a child in 1991 I still live with the memory of what religious intolerance can do.
Stop being unnecessarily irrational and paranoid. We always make a big deal out of nothing because our minds have already been brainwashed by politicians and configured to be paranoid. Relocating a chapel from one location within the villa to another location within the same villa, what in this freaking world is sinister about that?.... why must we just keep doing this?.... it keeps getting more and more ridiculous and we keep ridiculing ourselves with these continuous nagging.

Now because your mind is already completely configured to be paranoid, you absolutely could not notice that a mosque is also being relocated. Is that also part of religious intolerance?.... or maybe the president is now an atheist?

ZUBY77:
Now lets try to calculate the distances.
From the bank of River Niger across the idemili Swamp (Note:Swamp) to Obosi roundabout is about 4 Kilometers or more.
From the mouth of the Bridge to Ozubulu Junction where the second bridge would come out is about 10km or thereabout.

Now you add the 2km bridge across the water, to the 4km that comes out at Obosi Roundabout, that gives us 6Km. Add the 10km to Ozubulu junction and that gives us about 16km or more.

It is very silly to compare the 1.3km lekki bridge to the second Niger bridge.
It is also silly to think that in this era, the government would build the second Niger bridge and allow it to bust at Onitsha again.
The actual length of the bridge is 1.6 km with land road construction of about 10.3 km which brings the entire length of the project to 11.90 km.

Compared to the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, the 2nd Niger bridge is marginally longer, wider, has an over 10 km linking road and a higher load bearing capacity. However, the cost of N130 billion definitely looks inflated when compared with the cost of the equally inflated Lekki-Ikoyi bridge.

Health › Re: How The Internet Helped Restore My Baby's Health by obailala(m): 2:37pm On Sep 16, 2015
kennysteve77:
Fellow Nairalanders,

With great joy in my heart I give this brief account of how the internet helped restore my baby's health and prevented possible long-term complications. My lovely eight-month old baby suddenly began having seizures few days ago. It was so severe that it worried me and her mum so much that we though it was a spiritual attack. She would suddenly stiffen her neck and shake with great energy (seemingly unconscious), and then return to normal mode in less than a minute.

It happened like 3-5 times every 15minutes. Everytime it occurred, we felt like weeping as the ever lovely baby seemed to have been strangely hijacked. We rushed to the hospital and some blood tests were recommended. On seeing the results, the Doctors quickly knew it was a brain infection coupled with Malaria. Although some of them were worried that all other symptoms of Malaria and infection were absent in the baby - no high temperature, no yellow eyes, baby actively playing and sucking. The doctors immediately commenced treatment with strong antibiotics passed directly into her bloodstream + antimalarial drugs. Twice daily she was receiving the medications but on the third day, they got more worried that there was no improvement.

My wife was drastically losing her joy while everyone else was praying. On the evening of that third day, my wife picked her phone and began an extensive research on Google.com for possible causes of such condition. She stumbled on a research paper that presented the Negative Effects of Soybean in Babies. This paper caught her attention because two days before the seizures began, she introduced Soybean into our baby's food formula (on a Doctor's recommendation). The article stated that Soybean inhibits the production of Trypsin which is very essential for infants and also triggers irregular impulse in the brain neurotransmitters thereby causing frequent seizures which, after a long period, could render the child epileptic. The paper added that the inhibition of Trypsin could lower the immune system (which could make doctors believe it to be an infection).

We immediately stopped feeding the baby with the formula but we didn't notify anyone of the finding to allow a continued treatment. By the following day, the seizures started fading and in just two days, it went away completely. We are still in awe with this discovery while we are very glad that the baby is back to normal life, but I felt - this might help someone someday.

Wow... All I can say is Wow!

Who would have ever known that something as simple and common as soybean could be this deadly? undecided undecided

It will boil down to forensic analysis and checks whether the votes were inflated or not. IF inflated, the tribunal will CANCEL the identified inflated votes and examine whether a re-run in the affected areas will be able to affect the result. I make BOLD to state that the APC petition is DEAD on arrival and an exercise in futility
I thought that only happened in the presidential elections?.... For the governorship, accreditations were strictly by card readers.

This article was written to justify PMB's stoppage/suspension of the 2nd Niger Bridge project. We have serious challenge in this country. Since coming to power PMB made sure that he set aside some funds for the rebuilding of the North East. But he was quick to cancel/suspend the 2nd Niger Bridge project after N10billion has been released as part of the FG obligations all in the guise of 'the project was overpriced'. How can one compare the 2nd Niger Bridge project that with the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge that wasn't built to carry heavy-duty trucks? Since time immemorial the eastern people have been advocating for this project but someone just wake up to reverse/suspend it. We are all aware of the Lagos Rail project reversal by Buhari during his military regime.

Anyway, we shall watch to see whether the FG will reproduce a better deal and get the contractors back to site.
Stop trying to deceive and manipulate unsuspecting people and creating disaffection in the country. I know you are a smart person who knows the truth but you are allowing the little pecuniary gains you make from your job turn you into a monster, do you hate this country so much?

Do you know this man has an EFCC case over this same probe which U attribute to him revealing? Why is the EFCC case on him for goodness sake? Where is the reports of that panel which he chaired then?
Sorry you are getting it wrong... He is the very one who broadcasted the findings of his committee even when other members of the committee tried to hush him. At that time he even dissappeared to London away from distractions to personally prepare the very report which exposed the $16billion scam. At the end, the cabals involved set a trap for him and being a greedy man himself, he fell... and that was how the content of the report was rubbished. But are the contents of his report true?... the answer is a resounding YES.

His case was exactly the same for ahmed Lawan of the fuel subsidy scam... Lawan was also very vocal about the findings of his committee which were the absolute truth, but because of his little greed, the cabal once again used his greed to rubbish the report till date. But are the contents of his report true?... the answer is also a resounding YES.

He now want to say everything because he has been caught and to me, it's too late.
What on earth are u talking about?... Is it not common knowledge that OBJ's regime squandered $16bn on power?.... How do you think that info came to the knowledge of the public if not through this man?... Now you accuse him of changing song?.... What do you mean by that?

Stop deceiving yourself and your gullible relatives, most of the projects were started and even the expensive bits like gas turbines were even procured but later abandoned to be overgrown by grasses. GEJ came in and spent close to $10billion to that sum even after the projects were already privatised but yet we still have some characters defending these charlatans.

Now he is opening his mouth to say what happened or transpired but couldn't do it when the whole country was banking on him to do the needful. He is an embarrassment to Nigeria and should keep his mouth shut

N2.7Trillion loosely translates to about $16.9billion dollars (at an exchange rate of N160 to $1 which was the highest prevalent at the time).

Total therefore is:
$16.9billion + $8.34billion = $25.24billion Spent for a paltry 2850mw
