richie240:So you agree the boy in the picture posted here by the Op isnt Obi's son but you believe the one behind a face mask stepping on the flag is Obi's son? The guy in the picture posted by the Op and the guy standing on the Nigerian flag wear exactly the same outfit, same trouser, same shirt, exactly the same shoe, has exactly the same key/ID strap hanging from his belt, stands on a similar road with similar road markings, trees in the background look exactly the same etc. But for some reason, even with all visual evidence, you do not believe they are the same person. But somehow, without any single shred of evidence or resemblance whatsoever, you believe the person standing on the flag is same as Obi's son? Put holes in what i said ^^^ and Let's leave name-calling and insults for ipob bikoNo I wasn't insulting you (at least not yet); I was only insulting the idiots who sit in their homes and concoct these stupid lies and propaganda simply cos their brains are too useless to think of any other strategy to win elections besides 'pull-him-down' propaganda. For your own case, I don't think any insult I can bring up will be suitable for you for believing and spreading nonsense even though you know it's false.

richie240:I said what I said! Only idiots believed that that fellow in that picture was Obi's son. Without any single shred of evidence or even any form of resemblance, someone just tells you a masked man is Obi's son, and without any questions, you just swallowed it because you hate Obi? Like I said, it only takes an idiot to swallow shit simply because it fits the narrative of his prejudice against another. |
Only idiots believed that that was Obi's son in the first place. The much bigger idiots are the ones who even after this exposition, will still continue spreading the propaganda that the person in the picture is Obi's son (so many retards exist in this latter category). Low IQ'd scoundrels sit in their homes and keep concocting falsehoods because their undeveloped brains tell them propaganda is the only way to win elections. Sell your candidate, NO! Advertise your manifestos, NO! but they spend the entire election period concocting stupid propaganda to pull others down.

Attack lasted for 2hours 45 minutes and not a single reasonable response from security forces? If this is true, then the highest authorities were definitely in on it. |
zionstaar75:Oga, not everything a president does requires a 'bill'. Continue to let useless incompetent leaders deceive you with excuses that the NASS is the reason they arent performing. |

Officialgarri:With the right knowledge, skills, experience and wisdom, a president with the political will can bypass the useless administrative bureaucracies which bof down projects in Nigeria and build a brand new refinery in under 4 years. In addition, the existing refineres can also be revamped in under a year to at least supply up to 30% of Nigeria's fuel demand. If Nigeria can cut it's petroleum products' import by half, the Naira will be strengthened beyond measure, and this can result in a drop in pump prices. So yeah, with a serious and competent president, fuel subsidy can be removed without Nigerians having to pay through their noses. At N162 per litre of petrol, the only reason we still pay subsidy is cos of the deplorable exchange rate. |
Okobola146:Seems like your brain is paining you. Did I tell you I didnt have a job?... |
Okobola146:Unvague what exactly? What you posted was vague; i.e. it didnt exactly make any sense, and you didnt care to even explain your point or your grievance. But now you ask me to "unvague it"? Am I supposed to be in your head to know what you thinking? |
Okobola146:What are the schools turning into? Your message is vague. |
SugarGirl44:What has this holding down got to do with burning public property? Isnt that just foolishness? |
SugarGirl44:Right to burn public properties? |
TooNoisy:The answers to your questions are very simple... 1. What if Atiku/Obi had won in 2019. Would he still be saying the same thing. So if Atiku/Obi ticket which he was pushing won in 2019, would he still be calling Atiku a thief and Obi a saint?Atiku still remains a thief; that fact hasn't changed to date. The reason most people overlooked his tainted record and supported him in 2019 was because he stood tall as a better alternative to the main contender and president at the time Buhari. Elections are a game of choice between 2 or more people; when the electorate is faced with 2 or more bad choices, they go with who they perceive as a lesser evil (which is what Atiku was in 2019). But in 2023, with Mr Obi now in the race, Atiku no longer stands as the lesser evil. Your boy did no wrong by selling Atiku in 2019 and switching to an even lesser evil in 2023. 2. I asked him if APC and PDP are that terrible, why should I vote for a man who has been in PDP for the past 7 years and only left a month ago. This same man was PDP vice presidential candidate when Atiku was sharing dollars in 2019 and he still wanted to be president under PDP up until one month ago when he realised he couldn't win. Again, he had no answer.Anyone who understands Nigeria's political space knows that both APC and PDP, and even Labour party are all the same. Nigeria's democracy isnt mature enough to accommodate independent candidates so for a good and credible candidate to run for office, he/she still needs a political vehicle and has no choice than to settle for one of the already polluted parties. Given these circumstances, the only thing that matters and should be focused upon is the pedigree/reputation/credibility of the candidate themselves, and not the party (except of course we just want to deceive ourselves). The very fact that Mr Obi bluntly refused to be a party to the corrupt dollar bazaar in PDP, and even took a bold step to leave a most promising platform to go into the wilderness, that already speaks volumes on his credibility. 3. I asked him if Peter Obi miraculously won the election, and the NASS was controlled by APC or PDP. What does he think will happen next? It will be very clear Peter Obi wouldn't get anything done because he will have a very antagonistic NASS. Labour Party does not have candidates in 80% of the NASS positions and will barely get any senators or reps. So if the NASS is controlled by APC/PDP, then Peter Obi will either get impeached or join the APC./PDP. Labour Party has no structure, no representation, it is a one man show. Peter Obi will probably decamp again to PDP or else get impeached. Again he had no answer.Let him win the election first! Then Nigerians will get to understand that the the greatest structure is the PEOPLE; if the masses can be behind a leader, that is the strongest structure any leader can ever have. If Obi as president wants to do something which the people genuinely adjudge to be good, as long as the PEOPLE are behind him, the NASS would be too scared to stand against him. Now this isnt just some theoretical hypothesis crap, this is something Mr Obi has clearly experienced before and is currently experienced in handling. Mr Obi was impeached twice as governor for refusing to share money to party and house of assembly members. But guess what? Each time the PEOPLE stood by him, he came back stronger. And should he choose in the future to decamp to whatever party he chooses, that to me (and to every enlightened Nigerian who understands our political space) does not define the man. |
Anonymoususher:This is quite commendable; this is a real tirn around from the norm. What really makes this episode stand out is that the thousands of youths running these campaigns are doing so without any payment whatsoever and without any hope of ever being paid for their efforts. I can't say this for campaigners of the 2 big parties. In 2023, may Nigeria be visited by that change which we thought was going to happen in 2015. Amen! |
Moh247:The fact that you harbour the belief that a man called Tinubu built Lagos already speaks volumes on the shallowness of your thought process and IQ. |
Ojuntana:Blind people usually have a heightened sense of hearing; but the worst form of blindness is the type where the individual is deaf and blind. Your case unfortunately is irredeemable. The Lekki deep seaport is a project conceptualised and initiated by the LASG. Whether they bring in investors from far and wide to see the project through, or whether the FG through NPA gets to eventually manage the port is inconsequential; someone owns the project and that someone is the LASG. I see you talking about 'Exclusive List' as if you even know what it means. Airports are also under the exclusive list and airport operations are managed by FG agencies like FAAN, NCAA, NAHCO etc; but you'd simply be spewing blind ignorance if you go to the airports at Umuleri or Asaba or Uyo and claim those airports arent state government projects. I'm not even sure why anyone would want to dispute or argue over this; probably driven by some silly tribal or political sentiments. |
aribisala0:The project was conceptualised and initiated by the LASG. Whether they brought in 1 million investors to invest in the project is inconsequential; the project must belong to someone and in this case, the project is a Lagos state government project, period! |
Ojuntana:What sort of confident ignorance is this? Several people have mentioned in this forum that this is a LASG project; even if a person chooses not to believe what they read on this forum, there are numerous verifiable sources on the internet where one could easily get info on things like this. But instead, some people just choose to glorify their ignorance. No more words for you sir; YES, you're right, the Lekki deep sea port is being built by the FG, not LASG. |
ElSudani:One of the worst tragedies in life is an educated person who chooses to feign ignorance just because they desperately want to have an argument. Go and read the report below which clarifies the actual figures. Obi invested in Naira, the sum of N1.96billion, and given the deplorable economic condition in the country in the last 7 years, that investment is currently worth N2.24billion. https://www.thecable.ng/revealed-peter-obi-administrations-12-24m-investment-in-international-breweries-now-worth-5-38m/amp With the actual figures now in the open, feel free to return and make further mockery of yourself with nonsense figures. You will be getting no further responses if you do that. |
ElSudani:Feigning ignorance and dubiously cutting and joining different bits and pieces of info; but at the end you're only making a mockery of yourself. Obi said $20m to almost $100m. Later this was disputed/corrected to actually be $12m which happens to be $5m now based on today's deplorable exchange rate. Even knowing fully well that the info had already been corrected, you somehow dubiously still picked out the $20m bit and pitched it with the $5m to sell a fraudulent narrative. Such lame attempt at being crafty can only appeal to illiterates. Welldone! |
ElSudani:So because he didnt mention Naira in the video, you're not mature enough to run the basic arithmetic of conversion? I thought you were literate? |
Ojuntana:Are state leaders not human? Dont they have financial autonomy? Dont they have uncome/revenue? Are state only meant to steal and eat money and then patch some bad roads? Who do you think is building the Lekki deep sea port? |
ElSudani:I thought you all said, and we all agreed, that the figures are fake? So why are you still grasping on to the fake figures? Actual figures were released and turned out to be $12m now $5m. And the reason being the disastrous crash in value of the Naira which isnt Obi's doing. |
ElSudani:Oga save your weak and crafty analogy for dumb/ignorant people abeg. Kindly tell us the value in Naira too, and whilst at is, kindly also point out examples of companies within Nigeria whose value has not depreciated in dollar terms in the last 7 years? |
ElSudani:Do we spend dollars in Nigeria? Was the investment made in dollars? Does it make sense to you calculating the profit and assessing the progress of a local food vendor or street orange seller in dollars? Does it make any sense to you? Since you insist you must calculate in dollars, is there any sound human in Nigeria that doesnt know the value of the NAIRA against the dollar has depreciated by over 75% in the last 7 years? Is Mr Obi responsible for that disastrous depreciation in value of the Naira? With the crash of the Naira from N150/$ to N620/$, can you kindly mention one single company within Nigeria whose value has not depreciated in dollar terms in the last 7 years? |
ElSudani:Lol... Go and ask the accountant general of the state that question if you need specifics. It is a publicly know fact that the company is still thriving and successful, and it's shareholders havent come out any day to lament that they arent being paid. For every bottle of Trophy or Hero beer you see on bar tables across Nigeria, the shareholders of that company earn returns. Go figure! Did you say efcc exonerated who? The same efcc we know that even lacks the capacity to send common yahoo boys to jail is the same efcc you want to send politicians with massive financial war chests to jail? |
ElSudani:So because one or 2 startups thrived under such harsh and degenerative economic conditions, that automatically means the business environment was good?.... For every 1 new millionaire in the last 7 years, 1000 people fell off into poverty, and you think that's a record of success? Again and again, the argument about $12million investment depreciating to $5 million is nothing but a lame attempt at slander purely meant to deceive illiterate, gullible and ignorant people. The fact of the matter is that that investment has actually grown in NAIRA terms; it's an investment within Nigeria which earns returns in Naira, so if you must assess its success, you must do so in NAIRA terms. Lastly and very importantly, Mr Peter Obi is not responsible for the crash of the NAIRA from N150/$ at the time of investment to N620/$ which it is today. So any attempt at blaming Mr Obi for the f*ckups of this disaster of a govenment is just a laughable, dubious and divisive attempt at deceit. Culpability must be placed where culpability belongs (and we all know where that is). |
ElSudani:Breach of which trust? He invested in a viable and thriving company which remits revenue to the state steadily even after he's left as a governor. Who cares if his family also has shares in the company? The company is a limited liability company and anyone, that includes you and I and his family members, have the right to own shares in the company too. What you should be worried about is, is the company functional? Is the business viable? Is the company remitting dividends to the state? Another thing you should worry about; in your honest opinion, is Mr Obi worse than the one who rather sold government/public properties to himself at giveaway prices? Also, is Obi worse than the other one who designed schemes through which he controls the resources and entire politics of a state even long after he's left office? Not to talk of forcing government businesses to pay royalties into his personal account steadily? Is Mr Obi worse than these peopl? |
ElSudani:Better to invest than to steal the money! Meanwhile the money invested has grown in Naira terms; Mr Peter Obi isn't the one responsible for the bottomless crash of the Naira in the last 7 years (which is what made it look like the investment has depreciated). So its pointless to blame him for that. And then again regarding the investment, who cares if his family has shares in the company he invested in? Are they not also citizens? That's even more reason he'd ensure the investment is viable, cos if the investment sinks, his family also loses. Besides, is the company not thriving? Is the company not remitting revenue to the state coffers? He's definitely a better saint than the one who sold government properties to himself and the other one who forces government establishments to pay royalties to his personal account. |
BloomingDale:2023 is around the corner! Another election year is here again which presents another golden opportunity for people in those states you mentioned to vote in reasonable leaders for their states. But will they? |
gaetano:Your desire to see the politician suffer unfortunately isnt enough for the Uk authorities to turn logic and due process on its head. Ekweremmadu did not need any signed agreement with the boy; if the boy is confirmed a minor, then yes the parents may have needed to sign before permitting him travel with the Ekweremadus. But if the boy is proven not to be a minor, the written consent becomes useless. As an adult, the boy had the right of refusal up until the point in the hospital when the doctors were to start the procedure. Except it can be proven that Ekweremmadu pinned him down or chained him to the bed against his will, or maybe they put a gun to the heads of his parents back in Nigeria, I'm not sure how it can be proven that the senator was ripping off his organ against his will or under duress. |
