Politics › Re: Breaking: Cooking Gas Consumers’ll No Longer Own Cylinders – FG by Oblongata: 5:58pm On May 21, 2019
This is a great development. Many of us had been waiting for this day in Nigeria.

The use of cannisterS or 'cylinders' as fondly called in Nigeria is archaic as well as barbaric in the least.

Ordinarily, this implies that the government will supply domestic gas through pipelines and other means in which a house owner can access it by being connected. Payment for subscription can be subsequently made online.

All these are already in place decades ago in advanced countries.

Next in line should be underground cables for power distribution.

God bless Nigeria!

He followed his dreams regardless of the hurdles. . .

My fellow Nigerians, follow your dreams. If it gets out of reach, grow wings and fly...

Do what you love, and love what you do. Life has no meaning but we can at least be happy by making ourselves fulfilled.

Health › Re: Severe Itchy Eye And Eye Dryness by Oblongata: 10:23pm On May 17, 2019
Stadexoline or stadex or stadex plus...

Spersadexoline would have been great but no longer available in Nigeria

You could also try spersallerge. These are all eyedrops

You should also use terracortil drops each night before you sleep. ..

Watch what you eat and know what your allergies are, most eye itch and dryness is caused by allergies. Some are allergic to nuts, some sea food. Some dust, etc ensure you study your environment and know effects of your surroundings on your health

Good luck bro!

No, the US embassies are not just doing extra scrutiny to Nigerians alone when it comes to approval or denials of their visas?

BTW, there's always two sides to every story. We are only reading from the side of the denied applicants and not the visa officers.
bros we know, scrutiny is allowed

But during Obama's regime it was far more lenient and people that had before found it way easier
Travel › Is USA Shutting Down It's Border Against Nigerians? by Oblongata(op): 5:45pm On May 14, 2019
My dad whom had been given the visa 3 times in the past was recently refused. Even though he has 2 children who are naturalized and has grand children over there. He is way over 70 and has buoyant investment here to show that he would surely come back.

An immigration officer friend who has 3 stars was recently refused even with full regalia and good statement of account. His siblings are usa citizens and he wanted to visit them during his leave.

My friend that had been going with his family were all refused, they were given visas 4 times in the past and had been coming back in due time.

Further investigation on my whatsapp alumni group revealed many refusals from capable people with genuine intent, many of whom had been given before.

Rumors has it that the visa officials might be working with a quotation of visa which has been drastically reduced.

Even just yesterday, it was announced that no more drop box for renewals. Are we being shut down?

A friend that went for interview last week told me his interview lasted for 20 seconds, as if the vo already knew he would be refused even before the interview.

It is wiser you seek other opportunities for now, don't just dash your hard earned out...
