Greetings everone...i Installed solar panels on my car port.. my question is, does solar panel needs to be grounded(earthed) incase of when rain/lightning comes,. If yes, can it be earthed with the house's distribution board or it need a separate earth rod.??

I hope this my post gets to the FP, so I can get insights from a wider audience; even I know some might not make sense, but one thing I've learnt from the short time I joined this platform, is that - sense dey inside nonsense.

Pardon me, my write fit dey a bit lengthy.

I currently work with a multi-national startup coy. My net pay is a bit above 400k naira (this's at the moment), I've worked for about 2 years. I'm married with two kids and expecting the third.

Now my dilemma is that, I've not been able to save up funds, I feel like my living condition doesn't reflect what I earn. Shingbai like this, I no get for account. The last I could remember, I go deep hand for forex, e nearly give me hypertension (I lost about 2m). I still dey pay debt wey I incur as a result.

Now where I need assistance is, looking at the amount I'm earning, how do I spend? Please for those that will be kind enough to give suggestions, let it practically explained, as in help me break am down to the amount wey I suppose spend, how I suppose spend am, and wetin I suppose save.

I believe say many family people dey here wey get better experiences.

We can suggest heaven and earth on this thread, but saving is a habit and it requires discipline in the face of Sapa .

A general rule I use is to save 20% of every income that comes in irrespective of how much (show no mercy) as it land you wipe am go the acct fast...

For your spending, try to structure your spending such that 1 item is kind of multipurpose (this applies to workmen like me whey no no book ).
This one has nothing to do with food (chop well so you can think we'll)

Place your account on constant debit of a certain amount let's say ₦500 for 365days
(I started using this tactics when I noticed that I spend a lot of money on sub (try and check How much you spend on sub and airtime)

Then finally try to create a budget for all recurring bills and other expenses.But In all try to make extra income it's very paramount.

By the way I attached a saving plan that you can easily follow. While you save, you may need to worry about inflation and other things.

What the battery analyser does is try to read the internal resistance of the battery.
For a new batteries, SoH of about 85-100% is acceptable because of self discharge in storage while internal resistance of about 1.0 - 3.0mΩ is acceptable.

Note that the lower the internal resistance the better.

Simple go there and rent before the time of your moving.

If you don't have money, do it the hustler way.

Crash with the security at where you want to learn the course, bear in mind you have just a day or two.

Make friend with them and find out the single guy among, then rappor with him as guyman-to-guyman and hustler to hustler.

Once he allows you to crash at his place, contribute financially and foodly. Don't cross your boundaries, if he has a visitor, excuse him.

Be specific on how long you intend staying from day 1, most issues happens because a lot of folks will lie about staying a week, when they know it's impossible to fix themselves up within a week.

So I am thinking of traveling to Benin to for a course. The course duration is around 6months.

Now my problem is how do you tackle accommodation for a short period if you don't have people present in that place.

Besides this accommodation is also affecting people job searching. My friend earlier Moved to Lagos after he got a job without any accommodation in place.

Please drop your tactics or strategy on how to survive.
(Besides rents are no longer paid monthly in Nigeria )

Something happened about an hour ago where I went to buy felicity inverter at Garki modern market, Abuja for those that are familiar with the place.

A man came to buy felicity lead acid battery 12v 200ah. He needed 2pcs for 24v system. He came with a battery tester exactly like the one shown below. The shop attendant brought two new batteries but after the test, one showed "good battery" while the second one showed "replace battery". The customer rejected the second battery and demanded a replacement which caused an exchange of words btw the shop and the customer as the shop owner refused replacing the second battery.

My question is has anyone here ever used this battery tester and how reliable is it

The term "solar inverter" implies/tells you that the inverter system charges with solar panels.

15 bulbs of how many watts?
Standing fan of how many watts per fan
Led TV how many inches/watts (behind the TV it's rating is there)
Laptop watt (check your laptop adapter to get the rating)

Am not a magician, depending on how long you want to run this loads, your budget might not be feasible

If you can cook, consider the bee's (I mean bole,bean and fish, you fit add akamu joi )

If you want tech skill, consider videography and all those photo shoots (no be everything be codes)

If you no know book like us, consider plumbing, electrical wiring, bricklaying

If you get land, consider palm oil processing/business

Etc....
But in all, it's easier for you to run a service based business than a product based. The service based will require less capital than the product based...

I was shocked too.
I got to know this when I was in the market for panels and reached out to Coscharis Technologies for Jinko panels, when I told the lady that their price for 555w was way higher than what I was offered for the 575w in alaba that was when she asked me to request for the S/N of the panels they offered let her verify if it's the original or fake, well my shock was shocked with the outcome.

I ended up getting the Longi as they only had the 555w in stock and I personally verified all the panels from Longi website before leaving with the panels.

It's easy to spot fake jinko solar panels.
It's one thing to be involved in solar panel, it's another thing to be involved in the business of solar panels.

Some solar panels, have their names embedded into it.. this is one major way to tell the difference aside from the stickers.
