yes it can.
get a PSU that can produce the needed current and voltage need to run the pump.

strange panels you hv got there 64v voc.....and 380w.. curious to know the make. have you rechecked this specs with a meter?.

since u say u hv a hybrid, only option is a series connection.

if your inverter mppt is the high pv type, then u should series all. if not 2s3p is the best.

In a recent installation I embarked on, I was having thoughts on Which configuration is best for a hybrid inverter system.
(3kva 24v)

Voc of the panel is 64v, 7amps
No. Of solar panels is 6pcs of 380w panels all connected in series (output voltage is 360+) charging a 24v 100ah lithium battery

Vs

2s3p (output voltage is 120+) charging same 24v 100ah lithium battery.

This system has a continuous load of almost 700w in total.

So after seeing shege by buying over 40k fuel every month for the past 5 months. I've humbled myself.

I need a solar inverter system to power my laptop. Just my laptop. Unfortunately, its a 170watt rated laptop so its quite the power guzzler. So key things I need to point out:

1- it's just for my laptop, not the whole house. So like a DC connection to a power outlet/extension is what I'm looking at as a start
2- I want to be able to charge it with Gen/Nepa/Solar
3-It should be expandable. So I can add additional battery and eventually modify it to power the house in the long run.

Location:lagos
Budget: #200 - 300k.
Time line : 30 days.

Your advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

Even if vil power is Chinese, it is owned by a Nigerian, so you have access to replacement parts (the idea of avoiding Chinese inverters is because of the maintainance /after service)

e just be like buying an All-in-One Desktop PC, or buying TV wey get inbuilt DVD player,
1. you can't acertain quality or true capacity of the other
2. should 1 go bad, the other automatically becomes unAvailable/bad
3. should you have reasons for upgrade, you're forced to upGrade them both
4. if at end of the day, you decides to abandon the inBuilt, in favour of a dedicated one, you would have wasted the money spent on it
5. during repairs or purchase, you're charged way more than the 1 + 1 e.g seperately, they cost 5 naira and 3 naira, making 8 naira, don't expect to pay 8 naira. you might be paying anywhere from 10-naira and above. if e get wahala nko, you are charged for repair of both, even when it's just one of them that's faulty. yes if you price the inBuilt seperately in market, e go look like say e cheap BUT no forget that one complete, the one wey dey inside no complete and e dey share many things and also, even the quality + capacity no fit reach that dedicated one in the market.


it's even funny whhen I see people advertising or buying TransformerLess (sachet) inverter above 2KVA. That thing no dey too strong. it's even worse when you buy the inferior brands. e get reason why I no dey like spend much buying all these portable bluetooth MP3, headset, etc. once e spoil, it's difficult to repair OR not woorth the added cost.

in fact if you too carry am go electrician place, dem go tire to dey repair am.

It's the marketers business to create/make sales.

It's the installer / service provider business to optimize his business/service to be more profitable with less trouble.

A good example, imagine the hybrid inverter was still under warranty, you know Wetin installer go dey face by now after him Don chop money and marketer response to warranty is slow

If you want to buy inverters as much as possible avoid Chinese brands e get why.
You are better off with Indian brands.

Chinese has this bad habit of designing system such that when they have issues, you get a new one.
I will recommend vil power, easy maintainance and support.

Yeah it's Transformer based so it should power your submersible pump. The HP matters though

Oh that's problem hybrid, their repair / parts are not easily accessible, and they can be expensive sha... They are technically charging you to fix the inverter and possible solar charge controller.

It's better you add that 85k and get a transformer based inverter. Leave Wahala for who get am, since you already have a separate CC

My 3.5KVA Ipower inverter is displaying a code 6 error. I took it to Zinox office and was told to pay N85k for repairs which will take 4 weeks. This is the 2nd time of repairing it there. The first time it took them 9 months. A week after collecting it, one of the fans stopped working, but it still worked and I supported it with an external fan.

I don't even load the Inverter up to 10% since I bought it 2 years ago, yet it keeps having issues.

Please, what do you advise? Any alternative step I can take? N85k is too much for this unreliable device biko.

See eh, I have designed a couple of circuits, I desiigned, not buy readyMade circuit Boards like most people packkaging solarGenerator boxes are doing. And I didn't even use anything hhaving coil.

And yes, there are different types of transformers BUT when I say transformerLess, those of us learned enough, I believe uunderstands whatt I meant.

One basic thing I love about transformers, is the seperation BUT when I want something that would be efficient with almost no wastages, I know what to do.


Makes little sense inverting 12-Volts or 24-Volts DC current to 240-Volts AC , only to have it stepedDown to say 19, 25, etc volts. That's lots of WASTAGEs wether using Transformers or NOT.

I design and build custom CPU, I have a couple of servers of my own, and I have an array of Laptops, I could power them all withh single 12-volts, 200AMPs battery for over 2-days on single charge.
Even my laptop have has it's own power supply that BOOSTs 12-volts comming directly from my chargeController to 19-Volts and Also have a newer version I built that tapps into the battery connector to directly supply 12-Volts to the laptop.

If you have handled Laptop batteries and it's BatteryManagementSystem, you would agree with me they are not just very sensitive, but fragile and could lock you out, thereby rendering the entire battery system useLess no matter how new the battery might be.

what about desktops and server CPUs, those ones have varying voltages that must be very very NEAT.

so I might not have a degree in electtronics, but I have done enough PASSIONATEly, to know what I'm saying, even when I sometimes uses the wrong term.

Even my TV sef, I am selective of the kind of TV I use, no matter what, they must be using external adapter, that way, I could easily feed it (sometimes without modiification) less than 15-volts and it would work perfectly OK. if it's power board is n-built, means I would spend a little more time doing the modifications.



Any day I choose to use lithiuum batteries, I would BUILD (Assemble) mine, rather than buying readyMade lithium batteries which I don't know quuality of it's indiividual cells.

Besides I already know the solution, however I was look for an already made system that can work independently with a preset voltage level.....

I was thinking of coming up with a simple analog comparator circuit, to notify the user when it has gotten to 24.5v

But enjoyment too sweet they fit ignore am, so I wanted a cutoff system instead of a notification system.

Buy a hybrid or transformer based inverter with a low voltage disconnect (lvd).
I have transformer based inverter with lvd that can work for lithium.
It's on the list on my advert but u won't see it.
U rather buy what u like and cause problems then come online to ask for solutions.

Because your Lithium battery pack needs to sense battery voltage before starting to charge, It can't help you when it sees 0V from the battery cells (0v Because your BMS has shut you off due to over DOD).

So, to wake up your Battery Pack, You need to Jump start the battery just like you do to your car. But bear in mind that you have a 24v battery pack.
Get a 24V external Battery Charger or An Adjustable DC Power Supply or even 2pcs of 12v Batteries that are charged up, Set the readings to about 27V 10A, Hook up the terminals Negative to Negative and Positive to Positive Terminals of the Charger and Battery respectively.

If your BMS is inbuilt you might need to open the Battery Box because the terminals you have access to outside the box are P- and B+, and you need to hook up your external DC power supply to B- and B+.

Once you do this and certisfying other Input conditions from your Inverter, Mains and Solar Panel sources, etc, your Battery should resume charging, then unhook the external power sources you applied earlier.

If this did not help, then there might have been a fault in your BMS.

I have this 24v 5.12kw blue carbon lithium battery, that has been drained. The problem now is it has refused to come up.

I have tried using nepa to charge via the inverter , it not waking up, the solar panels too is not working as well...

How do I solve this problem?
Am thing of using an external 24v automatic low voltage disconnect switch to prevent further occurrence in the future, but I have no idea if such system is available.

Beside the inverter is a transformer based hybrid inverter with 100mppt controller.
