Fuuckkk Deeper Life!
did u read the the write up at all?

It is not deeper life or the school board threatening the woman. It is the parents of the culprits and the commissioner of education.

And by the way, I think this woman is being over dramatic with this whole matter. The case is already receiving appropriate attention from both the church and the government. Why over flog the Matter. She deserves what she gets jare. She even looks like a liar and a trouble maker.

Before deciding to put your child(ren) in a boarding school, one thing you should know is that:

Boarding school is divided into two.

The junior students(slaves), while the senior students and teachers (colonial masters).

If you can survive boarding school like I did, you can survive hell fire.
and I was seriously thinking of sending my son to this school next year.

If a church as morally upright as deeper life cannot run their school well, then I don lose hope

This north eeeeh. 80% of Nigerian problems comes from the North. They are inherently violent, uneducated and unable to think positively about Nigerian development. There is a reason every other part of Nigeria should always dream of a day when they will be free from the north.

-You can never host a major world tournament

- You can never expand your tourist potential

- You can never host a major world figure like the pope

- You will forever suffer insecurity
- You will never have government that runs on merit

Just a lot of hindrance being in same country with the north. They don't project Nigerian image in sports, in education, in entertainment, in anything positive. Breeding children without a plan to carter for them. Sponsoring violence and counter violence. To stay with the north in the same country is not a day job.
honestly these are exactly my thoughts

God rest your souls young boys. You dont deserve this evil but your leaders planted it & you're suffering it.Too bad! Yet their clueless state governor-Masari was earlier saying none of the boys have been killed.
I can't believe I am the one now saying this.

But the only way to save Nigeria is to split it up. We southerners (yorubas, Igbos and co) need to come together and form a new nation. And then we seriously defend our borders to prevent this horrible virus of banditry, herdsmen killings and bokoharam from crossing our borders and infecting us all.

The north is indeed cursed......and like a cancerous body part, we need to cut it off quickly

u sound like a very sensible, good mannered and well trained lady with good family values. Keep it up.

But I am very pragmatic when it comes to issues. I am also realistic. At 25, u are still young and u shud know what u want from life right now. Not everyone wants to marry by fire by force. Not every girl of Ur age wants a relationship that must lead to marriage. People have different relationship goals.

So review Ur relationship goals for the moment. If the goal is to get married, then it's ok that you left the married guy.

But if u just want to catch fun and enjoy a relationship while it lasts, then you should be with the person who makes u happy....even if he is married.....as long as he clearly shows that he takes care of his family very well too. U are not doing anything bad.

Entrepreneurship is not bad, Rabbit farming is not bad, but the results must be worth the efforts.

How can a government that has never done anything to improve the rabbit value chain suddenly decide to fork in money into rabbit farming?
Have they tropicalised an improved rabbit breed? Have they found ways to make feeding, medication and management more cost efficient?
How many people eat rabbit? Have they carried out necessary market research and sensitisation?

This is a project that is doomed to fail from the word go.

But there is no evidence to that. How many lecturers has been dragged by anti corruption agencies for mismanagement of University funds? These funds are never under their direct control hence you cannot hold them responsible. That is the more reason why what you are saying here is at the best in the realm of speculation and can hardly be substantiated. The revitalisation funds will never come under the control of ASUU so I wonder how they will corner it
it's clear u still don't understand me. Make we just leave the matter
Education / Re: Strike: We Haven’t Exempted ASUU From IPPIS – FG by obstead200(m): 5:59am On Nov 23, 2020
zikter:
I don't agree with you on this. I did a five year course in a public University and I understand what goes on. Lecturers will not harass the bursar or VC on anything. Mostly, the administrative staff comprising the VC and Bursar are the ones implicated in corruption cases. That aside, if ASUU harasses them on anything, don't they have channels to report it. For crying out loud, the NUC, ICPC and EFCC are there. How will the money get to ASUU? How much does ASUU get from, example TETFUND that has done at least some infrastructures on the campuses? If an incompetent VC is not capable of managing the funds given to his university, he should take the blame himself. Nobody should use ASUU as a scapegoat. And if the government cannot monitor these funds through their numerous anti corruption bodies, then government itself should not blame any one. As far as I am concerned, everything stops on the government table. Let them properly fund the universities, built infrastructures, pay lecturers well and stop grandstanding. Look at the countries you make reference to even in Africa and compared their education sponsorship with ours and you will understand.
u did a 5 years course....as a student.

I have worked in the system, in a very strategic position that placed me very close to the school management. I think I should know better.

I have a lot of them in my organisation, when the time for appraisal comes, they will start running around looking for lecturers who will add them as co-authors to their journals. They will start looking for other people's research work to craftily plagiarise as their own. They are never able to produce a quality research paper.

You are still not making a clear and coherent point here. What is morally wrong about revitalisation fund for universities when we all know they are grossly underfunded? What is wrong about visitation panels to universities to assess their decayed infrastructures and other needs? What is wrong in trying to correct the proliferation of state universities while the established ones are not faring better than advance secondary schools? What about earned allowances? What is wrong about paying you your allowances you earned? Is not as if government is denying they earned it, they are outrightly owing them the allowances. Many times, people are bias towards ASUU for no just cause. You are accusing them of moral corruption but you cannot exactly fault them correctly on all there demands to government. Let us be objective here for once
oga, quote me anywhere. 80% of whatever revitalisation funds released by the govt will end directly in the pockets of the lecturers. They will blackmail, harass and arm twist the VCs and the bursar's until this is done.

I have seen it happen several times.

Forget stories ASUU uses to screen their true intentions. The only thing they ALWAYS want is more money for Thier own pockets. Every other thing does not count for them.
Education / Re: Strike: We Haven’t Exempted ASUU From IPPIS – FG by obstead200(m): 1:48am On Nov 22, 2020
Nwadiuto247:

Stop sounding like an empty head.

ASUU is fighting over an agreement they had with government since 2009. Thats eleven years ago and you are here disgracing yourself.

Why has FG not taken them to court since how many times they have gone on strike over these years?

FG knows that the 2009 agreement and the memorandum of understanding they had with ASUU in 2013 and 2017, together with the memorandum of action of 2019 are all on paper and duely signed by both parties.

With such documents how can FG win them?

instead of you to blame the government for failing to keep the various agreements they entered into with ASUU you are here messing yourself up.

you think they go to have beer palour discussion with FG. Park one corner pls.
Without denying the fact that our politicians are very corrupt, I will categorically state that most agreements they enter with ASUU was done without due consultation and with self serving objectives. They usually rush into such agreements to hide their own corruption while boosting Thier political prospects. Now ASUU understands this fact about our useless politicians hence they capitalise on it to make ridiculous and bogus demands, which they would subsequently hold the govt to and start armtwisting them to get make a point. This is equally and specifically a very corrupt and unpatriotic thing to do. 2 wrongs do not make a right.
zikter:
If only you can channel this your zealous energy in fighting your politicians that corruptly enriched themselves, are still enriching themselves and wii continue enriching themselves in billions of dollars of Nigerian money, Nigeria will be better. How much is budgeted for the whole education sector in the first place? And what project do you think lecturers undertake that they embezzle money? Or how much do you think they get from students compare to your senator that even refused to let you know how much he collects? Moreso what is the useless government doing about the alleged corrupt lecturers, considering that government owns EFCC, ICPC, NUC etc?
Read the above to get my perspective. The summary is that ASUU corruption is not the type where u can charge them to court since their is no provision for such in the criminal code. It is more moral than criminal. (It is like a lawyer's corruption. He is corrupt in such a way that his actions can cause grievious harm to his opponent and others, yet he is, strictly speaking, still operating within the ambits of the law.) This is just as bad as criminal corruption, in my opinion.
When I say ASUU is corrupt, I am not even referring to their dealings with students. That one is another matter altogether.

ASUU should please shouldn't have anything to fear if their hands are clean as regard this IPPIS.

I could remember back then in school my project supervisor teaches in a private university and also a state university and hardly have time for me. Many lecturers are into stuff like this holding 3 to 4 jobs in both federal and state universities and also private and hardly have time for students rather they delegate their work to students to handle
ASUU is very corrupt. The reason they always succeed in bamboozling the FG and getting away with it is because the FG negotiators and decision makers is made up of a bunch of daft, incompetent and self-serving bastards who do not possess the intellect nor the wits to match the corrupt cunning of ASUU members. Put me and my likes in that team, give us a year with full autonomy to do and act as we please and we will bring ASUU to its knees
