One thing I know about OAU is if you are serious with your studies, lecturers would make sure you pass out in flying colors even if you slip once. But if you know sey you no sabi book, just make sure you hide yourself wellwell, cos if you go about shaking bumbum upadan, they'll surely prey on you and still not pass you. Ife lecturers rarely pass students for bribe, the last thing they can do is give you area of concentration AOC if they like you. But wetin you write put for exam na hin dem go take score you.

That's the IFE I graduated from in 2011.

They do it to both the boys & girls. Some boys gathered money to buy 50L petrol for 1lectirer laidat during 1 harsh fuel scarcity, thinking he'll pass them. He failed them all.

It's 1 of the reasons Ife remains among the best 5 institutions in the country since inception, and most of it's product keep excelling wherever they go.

I'm sure that Professor would still fail that girl had she agreed to have sex with him. The best he would have done is give her AOC, but sey hin go pass her because of towtow, tah! Not gonna happen bro!

I'm speaking from experience, cos I'll have repeated my 100Level in Medicine because I missed 3 out of 5 CHM103 practicals, and failed, getting an E or so, and the least I needed was a D or so- can't remember. My mum came and begged the HOD of Chemistry, a very wicked man then, the man told my mum that my mates are repeating, that I can also repeat now; my mum reiterated by telling him how my nickname was "ABABIO" in Secondary School. and how she knew her son could never fail Chemistry of all courses, cos I was sick almost to the point if death then I had to be rushed home to be admitted- 1st & only time I had Typhoid Septicaemia in my life. The man laughed, and agreed that they score and average it over the 2practicals I did, and said if I pass, lucky me; lo and behold I had 50%, and was allowed to progress to 200Level.

I'm a practicing Medical Doctor for the past 10years now! That is the IFE I know!

People paid to enter IFE, their money was collected, and digested, yet them no smell the gates. Na as you take stand them go take price you for my almamater bro!

A lady was the best graduating student in my class; she's practicing in the US for the past 5years now. You & I know if na yansh she spread, she no go fit enter there. And she no even dey attractive sef, but her brains would make you trip for her! The fine girls in our class dey down below the parking order, if they open yansh, na their wahala be that.

I knew that young man, uzor anwuka while I was in the university. He was a small boy in secondary school while I was in 200L. He has friend in the apartment where I live and he usually visits.

Nigeria does not need subsidy, as far as market entry restrictions can be removed.
Dangote will rather die than operate in a fully perfect competitive market. He is using all influence possible to keep the markets restricted, or at least very difficult to enter. Forget the audio licences issued to refiners, let them try to start construction and watch dangote and his government minions frustrate them out of business. We all know the unwritten code.

I can tell u stories of licence holders who were frustrated by the same government that issues the licences.

A University graduate in any federal parastatal today will either be employed with Conraiss 7 which is same as level 8 depending on the salary scale of the place.

Level 3 is for school cert holders.

About six years ago, my loving mum departed this world when I was a 20-year-old young chap. It was sudden and of course, painful.

However, fortunately, years before the ugly incident, I've met the LORD Jesus as a teenager, and have submitted my life to HIM. I will be eternally grateful to God for making me wise enough to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a teenager, and giving me the Holy Spirit Who helped me to embrace a life of holiness and purity. Few days before my mum's death, I have been down with malaria. So, you can imagine how bad it was when the incident eventually happened. It was even scarier when some people started creating a picture of a tough and hopeless future.

But amazingly, JESUS promised to stay with me, and He assured me He will never forsake me for once. Guess what? It has been many years since then, and JESUS HAS NEVER FAILED. And I'm writing this as a testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord Jesus.

I've been enjoying pleasantness from Him, and His support system never failed for once. Physically, emotionally, materially, mentally, spiritually, He is always there for me. He continued connecting me with people and platforms He make use of for my good and comfort. My ministry keeps growing, I live in peace and joy EVERYDAY, and I'm always enjoying bliss in HIM.

This is to testify that Jesus is True, and He is always True to His words. He has promised NEVER to forsake His own, and He has proven to be True. For me, it's an encouragement that everything He has spoken and recorded in the Bible, will always be fulfilled (including His second coming).

As I stated earlier, the wisest decision I made in life was to give my life to JESUS many years ago when I was still a young teenager. If I didn't do this at that time, I wonder what the effect the death of my mum would have had on me today.
And so, I'm encouraging you too, dear readers, to give your life to JESUS today, and make HIM your Lord and Savior. Jesus is all you need. If you open your heart to Him, He will come and give you peace and joy.

I don't know what is currently going on in your life. But I'm telling you that Jesus is the solution. Anywhere you are, just ask Him with sincerity, "Jesus, come into my life. Have mercy on me LORD JESUS'. He will not ignore you, but will turn your life around for good.

If you are already a Christian, I'm encouraging you to be more serious with Jesus, and let go of anything still holding you back from walking with HIM perfectly. Quit sin and immorality. Spend more time with HIM in prayers and Bible meditation. It is well with you in Jesus Name. Amen

I'm not saying nobody should hype his church Schools. Not at all. Infact, the online hyping have really been helpful in jerking up covenant university stats in many online ranking that deals with positive mentions.

But when the deal becomes real, we know where to find the real universities. You can call Covenant University the best in Africa as much as you want. But when it's time for a World Bank research funding, they surely will not jump ABU, OAU, UI, UNN, and the likes for that "we are the best in the world" university. Keep shouting "we are the best in the world" until your students start crying after their certificate is bounced by a university even in India citing reasons that "they are not a recognized university."

I know universities (private ones) whose system and output are very much higher than the covenant University's. Let me even list them: ABTI, AAUN, Turkish Nile University, etc. But because bthey don't have church members shouting everywhere no one is giving them the rank.

Let's all chill. When we want girlfriends, we go for Cynthia, Melinda, Candace, Jane, etc. But when we want wives, we go for Chioma, Ngozi, Ekaete, Elizabeth, etc.

When it is mounted, while giving it a week to set reasonably, plastering work can start. During plastering, doors can be mounted and window frames (if casement is not being used) can be mounted and dressed simultaneously. Wall and floor tiling can even commence sef. Ten days after the concrete facial is mounted, roofing can start.

Like I said, all the Work needs is cash, skilled and sufficient labour and a very smart foreman.

I haven't kept tabs on a lot of people I grew up with, but I recall one classmate from Uni (Sonia, not real name) who used to slay in the Accounting department, she had beauty and brains, and was topping her class like kilode.

Shortly after she graduated (I studied a 5 year course, so she left before me) she told me she was getting married to some young politician in our home state and would like me to be on her bridal train. She hadn't even done youth service it was that period of awaiting service.

Given her outstanding academic record and age at the time, I felt she was making a mistake by opting for marriage so soon. She's the sort of high performer the likes of KPMG and PWC would have snatched up ASAP.

Today, I hear she is divorced with 5 kids. When I think of her and our days in Uni, I feel like a bright and rising star was derailed in her prime and didn't shine more brightly to her full potential for most of the world to see.

I know some ladies in my University days with exactly same story.
